It’s a friendly hangout where local residents, business people, actors and crews who walk over from CBS Studios a block away, musicians and other creative types all feel at home. Conversation abounds at The Tuning Fork, where friendships between guests and between guests and staff seem to blossom every day.

Love the food and wine choices. The salmon is as good as it gets.
I have always loved this place and though I would recommend to my friends, my most recent visit was not nearly what I have had in past. Maybe it was just one of those things. Was told I couldn’t get a table till 9, walked in at 9 and place was maybe 3/4 empty. Service was at best ok, usually it’s spot on. Little details like water never refilled and I don’t recall if we were checked on until it was time for check. Like I said, TF is an awesome place and though I haven’t been there in a bit, I’ll chalk it up to an anomaly.
Best burger in Los Angeles - "Light My Fire" burger
Best service. Great beer.
Good chill place to watch the game during the day or early evening!!!
One of the most underrated spots in Studio City. LOVE this restaurant and am constantly ordering different things every time I go. It never gets old! Needs a little interior design love, but who cares!! PS, get the Gluten Free Fried Chicken Unreal, I tell you.
Great fish and chips. Noisy, but great service. Not a place for a quiet conversation.
First, the food was wonderful, absolutely delicious. Beautiful. Good selection of items. Our server was very nice and attentive. Two complaints: (1) The portions were a little too small. If you go, be sure to order several different items. (2) It was way too loud. We brought family from out of town but could not really have a nice conversation due to the noise level. Overall, the food was fabulous, the staff were awesome. They even called me to confirm my reservation and were extremely friendly.
Super fun place and great menu!
Favorite restaurant in studio city. Hands down!
The food is excellent. Fresh, organic. They even have vegan options. Pricing is a little high per portion size but maybe not for quality of food. Service however was very slow. I had to ask for lemon for my water 3 times. My husband and I ordered soup and they brought the other soup 10 min after after we had to ask. I never got an offer to refill my drink I had to ask and it was at least 5 min between asking and receiving. I would go back for the food only but it is a very small restaurant so you have to get there early or late.
I had the truffle burger and it was awesome with cauliflower mash to die for. I swear it was potatoes.
Good food, good brews. It was pretty empty when we ate there (just us and another couple), which surprised me. I am sure it was because of the time of day we were there (around 3:00/3:30 p.m.). It appears to be a place that people go to for happy hour or late night? Glad we were there when we had the place to ourselves. Made it very comfy/cozy. A definite "return engagement" place for me.
Absolutely delicious food! The tomato soup was perfection and the egg salad sandwich delicious. Home made potato chips are great, too! Terrific service, very nice people, loved the whole experience. Only minor criticism is that it can be loud, so if that matters to you, now you know!
Great good and draft beer selection. Great neighborhoody place. Best tomato soup ever.
Had a dinner with a friend and the food is really excellent. Portions are a little small, but the vibe, service and quality of the food make-up for it.
The food was great! The staff wasn’t friendly which ruined the experience because the food was great.
The restaurant is poorly lit it was hard to see the menu.
New years eve
Tuning Fork never disappoints. Great hamburgers and more. The restaurant has a nice vibe. Always enjoy going.
It was nice to get away and enjoy a new side of studio city. They’re burgers are EVERYTHING! Definitely recommend this restaurant for a low key enjoyable evening.
Their burgers are authentic, i.e., not disguised so you can taste both the meat and sauce.
The service is truly good. The staff is friendly, professional ( they know their jobs) and super attentive.
We really enjoyed our dinner and will certainly return. We had the pulled pork sandwich, which is seriously one of the best we’ve had, and we had the salmon. Great little neighborhood restaurant!
Food was good...small place but way too loud.
Great quality food, great service. Will definitely hit this place again.
Great, easy dinner - love the pulled pork sandwich and the burgers!
Great ambiance and food and our waiter was amazing! First time going and definitely will be back❤️❤️❤️
Nothing special. Food was just okay. We had chips (meh), bison sliders (pretty good ), and flat iron steak with fries (again, just okay). Small portions which works for us. The red ale and the service was very good.
Great food wonderful music Fantastic evening!!! Can’t wait to return!
I had a lovely time at the Tuning fork for my 118th birthday dinner! The staff was absolutely accomodating and pleasant. The
food was filling and simply delicious. Everyone at my table loved what they ordered! I had the (V) Shepard pie, yum! As I dissolved the dish with the tuning of the fork; it made me a beautiful pregnant food belly. It was a delightful evening with friends and live music. Merci, Tuning Fork!
Steak special. Really good but really small. More like appetizer sized. Not a full bar but good wines avail
The food was delicious and we will definitely be back. The service was lackluster as our server did not check back to see how we liked our food when we were eating and we were also not asked if we wanted any coffee or dessert. The waiter was okay just not particularly friendly or outgoing. The host was welcoming when we arrived.
The atmosphere is fun and casual. Food was very tasty, excellent actually, especially the smokestack (pulled bbq pork.) The service was excellent and everyone enjoyed themselves. My only complaint is that the beer was not very cold. It was cool (close to room temp)...which is too warm for me. Funny thing is the sign outside was enticing as it advertised cold beer. So, the beer should have been cold!
Everything went wrong! They did not have a table for me. They got my meal wrong. They re-made it and it was wrong again. The server/manager made me feel like it was my fault because I would not let them re-make it again. By that time I was so hungry I just wanted to eat. Overall, it was a horrible experience.
Nothing special, nothing terrible
Service is slow but food is great
It was way too over priced, especially for their food taste and quality.
Love their veggie lentil sandwich. Creative and delicious!!!
Always enjoy our time at Tuning Folk. Good food, nice servers and love their higher end Pinot Noir. Food always had been great.
Got a table and then we were told they weren't looking at their OpenTable reservations but they would have another table ready anyway in 10min's. Well 15min's later we were seated. The food was good but pretty pricey for lunch. And the waitress came by when I was still finishing my salad to ask if we were finished. My co-workers were and I said we were nearly done. So she took my plate away with the rest of my salad and left my co-workers empty plates. I am never coming back here. The service is terrible and they don't even look at their OpenTable reservations.
We waited 40 minutes for our food. Tables that were seated after us got their food before we did. Portion sizes were small.
Seemed a bit too laid back: not attentive during the meal, didn't clear table or offer dessert until asked - may have ben short staffed for the evening. Food was very good. Hope they will improve the ""table to kitchen to table" flow by the time we return which will be soon.
Great food, great people. Waited a really long time for dessert.
