Good food, good brews. It was pretty empty when we ate there (just us and another couple), which surprised me. I am sure it was because of the time of day we were there (around 3:00/3:30 p.m.). It appears to be a place that people go to for happy hour or late night? Glad we were there when we had the place to ourselves. Made it very comfy/cozy. A definite "return engagement" place for me.

Absolutely delicious food! The tomato soup was perfection and the egg salad sandwich delicious. Home made potato chips are great, too! Terrific service, very nice people, loved the whole experience. Only minor criticism is that it can be loud, so if that matters to you, now you know!

Had a dinner with a friend and the food is really excellent. Portions are a little small, but the vibe, service and quality of the food make-up for it.

It was nice to get away and enjoy a new side of studio city. They’re burgers are EVERYTHING! Definitely recommend this restaurant for a low key enjoyable evening.

Their burgers are authentic, i.e., not disguised so you can taste both the meat and sauce.

The service is truly good. The staff is friendly, professional ( they know their jobs) and super attentive.

We really enjoyed our dinner and will certainly return. We had the pulled pork sandwich, which is seriously one of the best we’ve had, and we had the salmon. Great little neighborhood restaurant!

Nothing special. Food was just okay. We had chips (meh), bison sliders (pretty good ), and flat iron steak with fries (again, just okay). Small portions which works for us. The red ale and the service was very good.

I had a lovely time at the Tuning fork for my 118th birthday dinner! The staff was absolutely accomodating and pleasant. The
food was filling and simply delicious. Everyone at my table loved what they ordered! I had the (V) Shepard pie, yum! As I dissolved the dish with the tuning of the fork; it made me a beautiful pregnant food belly. It was a delightful evening with friends and live music. Merci, Tuning Fork!

The food was delicious and we will definitely be back. The service was lackluster as our server did not check back to see how we liked our food when we were eating and we were also not asked if we wanted any coffee or dessert. The waiter was okay just not particularly friendly or outgoing. The host was welcoming when we arrived.

The atmosphere is fun and casual. Food was very tasty, excellent actually, especially the smokestack (pulled bbq pork.) The service was excellent and everyone enjoyed themselves. My only complaint is that the beer was not very cold. It was cool (close to room temp)...which is too warm for me. Funny thing is the sign outside was enticing as it advertised cold beer. So, the beer should have been cold!

Everything went wrong! They did not have a table for me. They got my meal wrong. They re-made it and it was wrong again. The server/manager made me feel like it was my fault because I would not let them re-make it again. By that time I was so hungry I just wanted to eat. Overall, it was a horrible experience.

Got a table and then we were told they weren't looking at their OpenTable reservations but they would have another table ready anyway in 10min's. Well 15min's later we were seated. The food was good but pretty pricey for lunch. And the waitress came by when I was still finishing my salad to ask if we were finished. My co-workers were and I said we were nearly done. So she took my plate away with the rest of my salad and left my co-workers empty plates. I am never coming back here. The service is terrible and they don't even look at their OpenTable reservations.

Seemed a bit too laid back: not attentive during the meal, didn't clear table or offer dessert until asked - may have ben short staffed for the evening. Food was very good. Hope they will improve the ""table to kitchen to table" flow by the time we return which will be soon.

Everything was outstanding except the service. They were very slow even with the small amount of people there. And they just wore t-shirts and jeans for a “nice” restaurant. But I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are going with a small amount of people.

I really wanted to like this place, but we had to wait 45 minutes to get our food. I asked for a medium rare burger with lettuce, tomato and avocado only. I got a rare burger with cheese, tomato and onions. They weren't terribly busy but for the one party of eight so I'm not really sure why we had to wait 45 minutes for our food during what should have been the lunch rush hour. Maybe the lack of customers at 12:30 PM should've tipped me off. A couple of other tables that arrived after we did got their food and left before we got ours (BTW, there were only two of us).

They ended up comping the burger but honestly, how does this happen? I really wanted to like the food but with a practically raw burger, it's really hard to tell. Also the fries weren't exactly hot. I could have gotten past the terrible acoustics in the place if the food had been good. Yeah, it was really hard to hear what my friend was saying but I was very clear on what the other tables were conversing about. Overall won't recommend and won't be going back.
