Tundra has delicious, original food in a rustic modern setting including an outdoor patio with great natural light. We especially enjoyed the calamari appetizer and prompt, attentive service. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Pleased our family’s diverse and sometimes picky tastes. Prawns, elk meatballs and halibut special with peach salsa were among the favorites. Carrot cake was exquisite- best ever!
Great food and service.
As always, Joel and team do a great jov
Casual and contemporary setting. Lively flavors and presentations. Very good menu selections.
Delicious creative food and wonderful service--plus we felt very safe despite the COVID- as the tables were far apart, beautiful windows open and waiters were wearing masks. Can't wait to go back!
P.S. The tempura cod was the best!
Our daughter and her fiancé were in town and we wanted a nice sit down dinner on the Fourth of July. We had not been to Tundra since they offered breakfast (so probably 2 years) our waiter Dawson was wonderful and the owner was there and checked on us as well. The food was delicious and the wine selection extensive. The kids had steaks, I had elk meatballs (definitely try them) and my husband had the cod, every plate was empty at the end of the meal. We will definitely be returning. Price wise it was average approximately 35 per person after wine and dessert. So glad we went in.
Everything we ate or drank was of great! No complaints. Will visit Tundra again.
Really diverse, creative, but subtle menu. Broad, curated wine list. Great evening!
As always, an excellent dinner, very relaxed, excellent food, and great wine choices
My husband and I ordered the trout It was outstanding! One of the top dinners I’ve had in a restaurant in years. Great service by Daron, also.
We love Tundra's relaxed and mellow atmosphere. You are not rushed so there is plenty of time to enjoy each and every bite of their delicious, fresh food.
Stylish place with great food and kind waitstaff.
This was our first dinner out in a long time. Tundra has a safe environment along with great food and service.
Food is always AMAZING! Our go to date night spot!
Four of us had dinner and all enjoyed everything we ate. Nice wine list and reasonably priced.
Fabulous! Start to finish. Everything was cooked perfectly. Steak was amazing and the side vegetables it came with were great combination. Highly recommend this restaurant as one of the best in the Wood River Valley.
Joel has put together a great experience, excellent, locally inspired food, attentive (but not overbearing) service, and a carefully curated wine list all make for a great dinner anytime.
What great flavors!!! And the service is outstanding.
Great specials and excellent service. Lighting is bad. Noise level is high. Will definitely return.
It was our second visit. The food is amazing as is the staff.
Staff are welcoming and attentive. Menu is excellent for high quality healthy food, lots of gluten free options. Wine selection is equally impressive. Decor is modern but comfortable. Well done!
Food was pretty good. Elk strip was so tender. Wife’s sirloin was also good. Sides were great. If you like the farm to table organic thing this is a great place.
Service was spotty. Only 1 waitress for the place and she was stretched thin. Not really her fault but it was Friday night. Kind of a no brainer. A little frustrating considering the price. It was good, but I would expect more. Also no liquor. Only beer and wine.
Tundra is a gem of a restaurant. I ate there with six friends on a ski trip to Sun Valley four days ago. I had the Idaho red trout, locally caught and one of the best pieces of fish I have ever had. My friends who were with me on our ski trip had equally terrific meals. Our server, Angela, was a revelation, friendly and outgoing but not intrusive, anticipating our every need. I would go back again tonight, if only it weren’t so far from Philadelphia!
Very yummy and fresh. They do not rely on heavy sauces for flavor.
We really enjoyed the whole dining experience. Great food and service!
We were so glad we took a chance on going to this relatively new restaurant in town. It was a very enjoyable evening with very good food, intriguing combinations, and fabulous wine.
Cozy, no frills decor with truly extraordinary and spectacular food and service. Amazing wine list with very reasonable markup. My wife and I ate here two nights in a row and both meals were the best meals we have had in a long time. Shishito peppers appetizer is a must. Elk meatballs are delicious and the Idaho trout is prepared to perfection. I'd eat here for a long time before , if ever, getting tired of the flavors and original take one many different dishes
Love this place in Hailey! Excellent food and service....great menu for a mountain town experience. I have been there twice in the past two week and had great trout and elk meatballs. I will definitely recommend this to friends and others that stay at our Hailey Airbnb.
Going back next week! Fabulous food. A great addition to the SV area
One of the best restaurants. in Wood River Valley. Dr. Parry
Tundra is a small, intimate restaurant down the street from us. The food and service are always superior and very friendly. It can be a little noisy at times when it is crowded and full, but that's not any serious problem. It is not an inexpensive restaurant, but then "you get what you pay for" and the food definitely justifies the prices. Heartily recommend eating there.
Wonderful restaurant! Food was great, we have tempura cod, and it was delicious. The wait staff went out of their way to please us and we appreciate it. I can hardly wait to go back. Dr.Parry
This was our second time dining at Tundra. Both meals were fantastic - the food is both creative and delicious; the space is welcoming; and the service is top notch. On both visits, our waiters also recommended fantastic wine that was the highlight of our meals.
Excellent and creative starters and mains. Great wine selection.
The elk loin was so tender, absolutely delicious! The table bread from Hanger was some of the best bread we have ever had. Great service too!
This is hands down our favorite restaurant in Idaho and the Rockies in general, and one of the top 3 on North America.
The food is delicious, everything in the menu worth trying, from the vegetarian fewnch onion soup, to the salads to the elk meatballs and roasted duck. And the pasta special with chanterelles and foi grass was memorable.
The wine selection is reasonably priced and well assorted.
Can’t wait to get back to try the rest of the menu.
Great trout. Creatively seasoned. Love the place.
Service was excellent and food was very good. Great value
