   The service was terrible but the food was excellent. They were extremely busy I do understand that but the waiter didn’t check on us during the very long wait of about 45 minutes to get our main course from the time we ordered until about 5 minutes before the food came out. He has said it was coming right out but it took another 5-10 minutes after that. It was VERY LOUD so don’t expect to have a conversation unless you like to yell. The food was very good and so were the drinks but the service is lacking. The prices are also a bit high for what you get and no sides are included. Most Mexican restaurants include rice and beans with the main course at the same price point as tulum. You must pay for those extra. They would have to improve the service for us to return.

   I made my reservation for the Saturday before cindo de mayo, expecting this restaurant to be busy. When me and my friend arrived, the place was empty. We weren’t helped or even brought our water for the 20mins we waited at our table. We decided to leave.

   I reserved a table but we sat at the bar because it was comfortable. They gave us all the seating options which was nice. The food was delicious. Service was great. Staff was friendly. Drinks were great. Will definitely be going back

   Always a great experience at Tulum! What makes this place is the amazing staff that make you feel like you’re part of the Toula family always greeting and going out of their way to make your dining experience exceptional. The drinks are exceptional and the food is always great and freshly prepared. Friday nights they have a live DJ so it gets crowded and maybe a little noisier than normal but definitely a great ambience and a fun place for drinks and food with friends. Definitely recommend for an enjoyable night out! PS brunch on Saturday and Sundays is a must
