Great all around!

Went to Tulum for their second Brunch on Sunday and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back for another passion fruit mimosa. Chef Jose was super nice and the service was great! Highly recommend 🍳

This was my second time dining at restaurant. This time I decided to come for anniversaries dinner. The waitress didn’t do a great a job at explaining what was being ordered and how it was cooked. Example we asked about catch of the day and she said it was a whole fish and she really didn’t understand what the definition of whole fish was. Drinks are good ....we ordered lamb chops and for the price I felt like they could have been cooked better.

This was my first time to visit Tulum. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and were able to experience Tulum's first brunch. The staff was very accommodating as we brought a cake, and they brought it out to the birthday girl after we finished brunch. I was impressed that the chef came to our table to explain the menu and ask if we had any questions. The cocktails were inventive and the food was delicious! A great first experience at Tulum and will definitely come back!

My experience at Tulum was wonderful. The environment, service, and the food all receive 5 stars from me. I will definitely be going back soon.

Came for Sunday brunch and it was awesome! For sure going to come for dinner now, it looks like such a cute date spot😊

Tulum is a refreshing, contemporary take on Mexican cuisine. The dish that was the most surprising and flavorful was the octopus. Chef José made sure to pay a visit with each patron, and I saw him clear a table of two. It was a great experience, and we plan to go back!

My boyfriend and I were blown away at the service here on our date night. They accommodated us when I wanted do switch tables, the chef himself came out and introduced himself to us, which never happens. Our waiter was the best and to top things off, the food was outstanding. I almost never write reviews but everything about this hidden gem was great and I couldn’t keep it to myself. I would definitely recommend.

The new chef has changed the menu! Oh no! But it was awesome! Must try the lamb chops and the shrimp chili relleno. Octopus is still good. The chef does some sauces that are cleverly delicious.

Outstanding experience in every way! The moment you walk through the wood double doors, you feel like you’ve been transported! The food is unique and delicious. Everything we ordered we loved. The chef himself came and talked to us before and after our meal. To top it all off, they brought out an amazing dessert on the house for our anniversary. They made our time together very special. From the food to the ambience to the service, this place impressed in every way!

This place literally over exceeded my expectations.

The food was delicious, but where we were seated was awkward. There were tables around the perimeter of the room and they all mostly faced our table so it felt like we were being watched during our meal, as there was only our table and one other in the middle in that section of the restaurant. Other than that, the service and ambiance were very nice!

Outstanding new menu and Chef Jose was very visible meeting everyone to explain menu. Server we had needs more training. She got drink order wrong and seemed to be rushing dinner.

Tulum offers a well balanced small menu to experience multitudes of taste sensation set in a energetic ambience. Service was top notch!

What a surprise and difference make from chef to chef and change on ownership. Unfortunately I cannot provide the same review we used to. Tulum’s menú changed as well the quality and presentation. We were a party of 6, and three of us got sick and had stomach issues after dinner. Not a pleasant surprise; food was not as good as before, it took forever to serve between entries; just not a good experience as we used to from Tulum’s before. unfortunately this made our last time coming back to this restaurant.

Such an amazing atmosphere and great meal. Will be returning soon.

Generous pricing. Perfect quantity portions with overwhelming taste. Get away from Tex Mex & standard Mexican food, and come give Tulum a try.

Food portions are very small

The food was unique and outstanding. We all loved our meal and service outstanding all around. Who’d a thought lamb molé? A highlight for sure!! The Causa is upscale authentic and delicious. Thanks for a great experience!!

First time at Tulum but won’t be the last time. We want to come back and try everything. Wonderful service - don’t remember our waiters name but he was great and had a wonderful smile. We enjoyed the Mexican martinis, octopus, guacamole and chips, tuna tacos, lamb chops, short ribs and two deserts. Only negative is courses came out really quick. Great ambience as well.

I’ve always enjoyed Tulum. Met a date there and decided we wanted to sit at bar instead and turned out very fun. The noise level was great as well, energetic but not too loud so I can actually hear my date talking to me.

Excellent meal and service from Camilo and team!! This place doesn’t disappoint. Perfect portion sizes. I love the vibe in the lounge, and can’t wait to go back!

Friendly staff serving up delicious fare

I think I had the best guacamole, ever, yesterday! And the chips, blue corn, were artistically presented on the board. We tried two very different entrees that were each exceptional but then, I've come to expect nothing less from Chef Nico.

Really enjoyed the food but the servings are not very generous. I would definitely come back, but save it for a special occasion.

Celebrating a best friend's birthday. Our server, Jill, was attentive, fun and festive. Great to see bartender Marla there from Meso Maya Preston Forest. The grilled octopus starter is a must - hard to find it that good elsewhere in Dallas. We'll be back soon!
