Tula Bene at Tulalip Resort
Benvenuto amici!
Welcome friends!
At Tula Bene, expect an experience that is approachable, fun and upbeat, yet focused. When you dine with us, you will experience seasonal dishes that are prepared to order with fresh produce, meats and seafood. Many of our ingredients like ricotta, yogurt, and sausage, even our limoncello, are made in-house.
Savor a juicy steak grilled over cherry wood, a mouth-watering lobster ravioli, or a 1/2 chicken, roasted to order in the woodstone oven. To compliment your meal, add an Italian wine such as a robust Sangiovese from our award-winning, European focused wine list of over 450 different wines, one of our 47 wines available by the glass, or a handcrafted cocktail like the Bella Rossa featuring our home-made limoncello. Top off your meal with a delicious dessert, like the Caramelized white chocolate budino paired with our custom espresso.

Great server! Nice welcoming greeting. Best part of the meal was the bread service. The entire table couldn’t believe how good it was! Pasta was good as well.Steaks were a bit disappointing. One guests was over Cooked in one side and good in the other. I had the wagyu it wasn’t a very good cut. Lots of unchewable “grizzle”. Both mine and a guest steaks were supposed to have marrow butter on them. Not sure if they did but it was not recognizable. Steaks were ok but for $50 a steak we expected much better
Had a good time, our waiter was exceptional and the food was delicious. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, quick, offered advise on meals and took great pictures of us enjoying our visit, would go again.
Hubby & I shared the Lasagna, it was outstanding!! 👏👏👏👏
As usual our server was pretty awesome, but the lasagna was a hot soggy mess and inedible. This is an Italian restaurant isn't it?
So good already planning return visit
Service was good but all the food was bland.
Had spaghetti and meatballs the meatball was Just ground beef. Very bland. Spaghetti Factory has better spaghetti. Never again
Amazing food. Best steak and lobster we have ever had. And service was excellent. The restaurant is beautiful!
Awesome place to go for our birthday celebration. We really enjoyed the great food and service.
Very personable & knowledgeable waiter! Excellent stake and the best specialty whiskey !
I dropped a comment card but I have not heard anything back from them.
This is one of our favorite restaurant, me and my husband dine here almost 2x a month.
Anyway, the food came an hour and thirty minutes late, my steak was poorly garnished, it doesn't look appetizing, it's just a sad looking steak, I was so disappointed. My Valentine dinner was ruined and sad. I almost cried. I took a picture of my plate if you want to see it. After our last dinner at Tula Bene, my husband and I decided that we have to check this restaurant off our list as one of our favorite places to eat. We don't want to go back there anymore. $100.00 dinner was not really worth it.

It is very noisy, I think it’s the noise coming in from the casino. Why aren’t there glass walls at the very least? My only real “complaint” is that the food came luke warm and quickly went cold (Dungeness crab pasta for two). The ambiance is great, service was excellent. We’ll try it again, maybe steaks next time.
Best service around!! Great food
We love to go and have dinner .We have been there 3times
already and many more coming!!!
The calamari was tasteless 😐
The bubbly I ordered was the last of the bottle and had no bubbles left 😕
My cod was all that arrived on my plate , just a piece of cod 🤣with some sauce .
The menu description was very misleading .
This was our first time here and we will not be returning but going back to our favorite Blackfish .
We ate here prior to a concert. The food came up faster than we would have wanted and will make sure our server knows that next time. The service was attentive and the food was very good. We will eat here again
The food is good and wine list amazing. Service impeccable.
Overall experience outstanding. Went for anniversary nice touch gratis desert. Wine selection outstanding food and service could not have been better. Wi go again soon . Our fourth visit in last 12 months. Never disappointed.
We eat there every time we go to Tulalip, Roger waits on us about 90% of the time he is amazing.
Interesting menu, large portions, wonderful service. Couldnt hear a damn thing.
Great food great service
Beautiful restaurant but it was Saturday night and extremely noisy. Food was good and the service was perfect. I’d definitely go again but not when it’s so busy. The group around us were all screaming to be heard. Enjoyable otherwise and good value
Fiid was great, service was spectacular. Woul db highly recommend!
Did not like food. Very noisy. Very expensive. Could not detect any lobster in pasta dish that said it had lobster in it.
Tula Bene is one of our favorite restaurants. We come here at least 2-3 times a month if not more. We always request to be seated wherever Chris is serving. He is so fun and knowledgeable about wines which is super helpful.
Beautiful restaurant and great food. Surprisingly the noise and smoke of the casino did not get inside the restaurant. The staff were also very friendly.
New Years Eve celebrations
Front desk staff needs serious training in customer service department. Good or bad impression of the restaurant is within the first 30 seconds of being greeted and last night it was an epic fail. Food is a hit and miss and nothing we ordered was memorable where I would comeback for.
Server was stellar! Thank you for being so gracious to my children. I wish i remembered his name. Will stick to blackfish from now on.
I expect near perfection at this price level.
I ordered medium rare and received a charred well-done steak. They offered to replace It, but I chose not to disrespect the animal.
We have enjoyed eating at Tula Bene a handful of times. This time, we had a server who unfortunately just didn't hit the mark. When ordering food being cooked tableside, she was completely quiet. Usually they share the history of this and how they prepare it which is part of the experience. No bread brought to the table either. Food was good.
Our dinner was excellent. Our waiter Alex was superb.
Food was mediocre, felt rushed wasn’t a great experience
We love BlackFish so we thought we would give Tula Bena a try. We will go back and take friends. I loved the server, It was decently priced for a Chop House. Food was good. I got the short ribs and husband got the R&R steak. The steak was perfect, the tomato jam on the ribs was excellent.
Appetizers and entrees arrived simultaneously.....and before our wine. We were told they were out of our FIRST TWO selections. Very disappointed. Cacio de pepe was lukewarm at best. Short ribs delicious but accompaning gnocchi was heavy and dense. Steak grissly and overpriced for quality expected. Server was either overwhelmed or undertrained.
This was our first experience there. It ended up being the worst dining experience we have had in a decade. They presented an interest menu and an impressive wine list; some bottles were $5000. But when we ordered featured wines, both by the glass and bottles, they were out. I ordered a Paso Robles red blend. They brought me a Cabernet, on their own initiative, saying it was the same thing. Two of us ordered a grilled Cesear Salad. It has no romaine; was not grilled and no dressing. We brought the dressing issue to the attention of two servers. Each said "They would let the kitchen know." The lasanga had virtually no sauce or meat and hte noodles had turned to mush. One diner has black cod which was a small serving with nothing else on the plate. Another diner had what was supposed to be an 8 oz lobster tail but looked more like 4 oz. The chicken dish was good. Service was bad.
We miss Dean Shimagua, the original chef in that space.
Steak I order was not tender and wasn’t provided with a steak knife. Could smell the smoke from the casino floor.
I had the R + R beef filet, very tender and easy to cut. The sauce was excellent with the meat. It came with a baked potato with sour cream/ chives and broccolini. I also had a tiramisu desert; let me tell you if your tired of the regular lady fingers style this tiramisu was delicious.
It was really loud. Food overcooked. Server had an attitude.
It was just probably an off nite. I get it. I'm in service industry all cylinders dont always click sometimes.
Oh the only thing awesome...was crab cakes.😊
Bone in rib-eye was perfect with the polenta, cacio de Pepe was made table side and was one of the best pasta dishes we've ever had. Will be going back soon
Have eaten at Tule Bene several times and this time we had an out of town relative dine with us. We did make reservations for 5:30. Roger, our waiter was very attentive but had other guests that required tables side preparation so my drink request took considerable time before I received it. Two menu items were not available, the Black Cod and the Veal Marsalis. Hard to believe that they were out as they had just opened. The cod was the only fish option. Disappointing. I ordered the lasagna and the lobster tail as my side, a sirloin steak with mushrooms and a R&R steak with the roasted vegetables for the others in my party. The steaks were both prepared properly and Roger checked both with his flashlight to make sure. All the food was delicious but my lasagna was the only thing that was hot. Both steaks, mushrooms and vegetables were just warm. My lobster was the same. I am very critical on hot food. The presentation was great but I wonder why, since Tule Bene is advertised as a “chop house” that the steaks, which are not inexpensive, are not delivered on a hot sizzling platter.
We use to eat at the former Tulalip Bay and were never disappointed and always left impressed.
I always thought that a chop house would specialize in a large variety of steak options. Tule Bene only offers a few. The new steakhouse at Angle of the Winds just opened. I’d like to try it for a comparison.
