This is the place to go for amazing, well executed food. My family is Italian and we were blown away by the quality of the food! We ordered about 5 pastas, a steak, the ribs with gnocchi, crab cakes, and prawns. There were six of us and we ordered it family style. What an experience! Highly recommend!
This was our fourth time coming to this establishment and was the worst experience so far. All other times have had wonderful food and service. This time unfortunately was not as delightful. While I understand it was busy, it took 30 minutes to get our first drink and 35 minutes to get our bread. The food was also not as good as previous times. It seems as though we caught the restaurant on a bad night. I hope our next time will not be as disappointing.
We had a fantastic meal, Joseph was a great waiter and very professional, the sulami cheese bird to start was perfect and the pasta prepared table side was very tasty and perfect for a shared side dish. The steaks and lamb chops were perfect.
The ambience was fabulous, our server Alex was fantastic and very knowledgeable. We ordered the Pancetta Wrapped Prawns, the Crab Cakes and the Calamari to start. The prawns were fantastic, the crab cakes were good (lots of meat) but the calamari was lacking in seasoning and sauce. We were pleased at the minimum amount of tentacles in it though.
We ordered salads, unfortunately, they didn’t have just a standard dinner salad, it was all trendy. You should always have a basic dinner salad.
For dinner we ordered the 20 oz Bone-in Ribeyes and the filets. In my opinion, I am a big steak lover, my ribeye did not have enough salt for the flavor and was slightly over cooked. The filets were perfect in taste and texture. The mushrooms we ordered were a wonderful surprise, but there weren’t enough veggie options, only mushrooms and broccolini were available. Brussels Sprouts and or asparagus would have been a nice option. They had lots of starches to choose from if you like that. But the potatoes also lacked salt.
Finally the dessert menu, it was pretty good for options, I chose the Gianduja & Mascarpone Cake! DIVINE! It was light but dense and so very good.
All in all, it was a good experience, it is very trendy and I think they just need a little more seasoning and a few more basic dinner options. In my opinion, some classic stuff should always be on a menu.
The new fall menu is wonderful, full of seasonal flavor. The beef ribs with sweet potato gnocchi was flavorful and rich. Great service and experience overall.
Food was great but the noise was too much for us. As a couple, we couldn’t sit across from each other as we felt we were shouting to hear each other. We had to sit side by side which was a little awkward. Saw several other couples do the same. The food is really delicious though, short rib was amazing.
The food didn’t have much flavor to it and the serving sizes are very small. Overall beautiful place and pleasant wine.
Good food and great service. Beautiful restaurant!
Great food and service. It’s really loud with the slot machines right outside the restaurant and the same tune over and over again. The food a service though is some of the best in the resort.
It was very loud. The food was bland. Would not eat there again.
We enjoyed our dinner at Tula Bene. The flatbread appetizer was garlicy and delicious. Our table had the NY Strip Steak, Lobster Ravioli, Cacio e Pepe (tableside prep) and Pappardelle. Pappardella was my least favorite - strong flavor in the sauce that I did not enjoy. All other entrees were amazing! Only side we ordered were the mashed potatoes - yummy! I wish they had a regular garden salad to go with the pastas.
We had dinner at Tula Bene for my sons 21st. Great service from all of the staff, even an impromptu wine tasting at our table. Food was cooked perfectly and portions were bigger than expected on side dishes. Also the house bread is amazing!!
Fabulous evening. Our server, Nona, was attentive, knowledgeable but saw that we wanted a leisurely dinner and were in no hurry; she let us set the pace but was always close by. Food presentation was beautiful, delicious.
Restaurant added a little extra since we were celebrating our 25th anniversary.
Perfect evening. Worth the drive from Vancouver (British Columbia).
Four of us had a wonderful pre concert dinner. Spaghetti and meatball delicious as was the clam linguine. The burger and fries was so tasty. We are ready to go back! Service was very good, too. Very nice ambiance.
The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was light, cozy and romantic, the service was quick and great. It was all around wonderful
Went to this restaurant before the Johnny Lang concert on July 5. Small place, I would make reservations. It filled up fast after 5pm. Decor was old school Italian with antique mirrors and stone. Service was very attentive and they helped us make the concert on time. Food was fabulous. Perfectly cooked steak for my husband (rare). The gnocchi was velvety rich. Lemon lavender risotto was exceptional. I highly recommend this place as a stand alone destination for dinner. I also recommend the house wines which were very good and reasonably priced. Will be back if I’m at the Tulalip Casino.
I was with a group of 3 people. When we first came in, the noise level was perfect. We could hear each other talk. About a couple of hours later, a group of 8 people were sat next to us and they were loud.
Otherwise, everything was great, I would recommend it to other people just because of the food and service.
Service was excellent. The pasta dish (with beef ragu) was very tasty. Our medium-cooked rib eye steak seemed to have some grizzle on it and was too chewy so we wouldn't recommend it.
Great food and service
The waiter was attentive the food was great. Only complaint is it’s a little noisy, it would be good to enclose it like it was before they renovated. I would recommend this to anyone.
This place was excellent! We had the bone-in Ribeye. It was cooked perfectly with tons of flavor. Amazing ambiance. Great place for special occasions and everyday dining. Highly recommend trying this place.
Rita always nails it - this evening’s dining experience at Tula Bene (at her recommendation) proved no exception.
We arrived for an early dinner at 5:30 P.M. on a Friday evening to be greeted warmly by host staff, waiters, waitresses, a wine sommelier, and Chef.
We were next transported to our table to the voice of Old Blue Eyes and seated in the artfully decorated wine room with a gorgeous Chihuly glass chandelier overhead. Nona, our knowledgeable waitress, shared the menu selections with us and took our drink order. I waved away the Wine Sommelier and ordered a Sidecar which was mixed to perfection. Upon tasting it, I knew we were in for a fine dining experience.
After reviewing the menu selections, I ordered the Butterflies and Cherries for my main course which was a sublime mixture of house-made al dente basil farfalle pasta, bing cherries, sun dried tomatoes, shallots, chili and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. I can still remember the dance of flavor in my mouth - delish!
Since the Taste of Tulalip, Washington Cherry Menu yielded such a delectable main course, I ordered my dessert off the same menu.
While listening to a lovely Italian aria, I dug into the house made Chocolate and Chianti Brown Butter Cake which was artfully presented as five cylindrical mounds of miniature chocolate cake dotted with vanilla whipped cream, mixed among three scoops of cherry sorbet atop of Chianti poached cherries - a Vesuvius sweet dream of deliciousness.
Tula Bene from the outside is unassuming - however, once you enter and allow the ambience, service, and culinary delights transport your taste buds on a fine dining adventure, Italian style, you know you’ll be back for more.
It was a great dinner and overall experience! Will definitely go back . I celebrated my Birthday and loved the free dessert!
The ribeye steak was cooked perfect and the sausage Ragu polenta was outstanding
The food and service were great. The waitress recommended a vegetarian meal that was amazing!
Never had a bad experience there.
Our waiter "Alex" has served us prior and has a number of serving "Technics" that seem to show inexperience or worse, simply aloof. This time, when we checked into the hostess, I asked if he was to be our waiter as he was showing us to our table. Asked for another waiter due to past experiences, she agreed and gave the table to another. However, Alex decided that he wasn't going to listen or agree, so he just continued serving us. Spoke to the hostess again who apologized and said she would discuss with her GM. Never heard a word - and Alex and his aloofness continued. Unfortunately, the food couldn't overcome that - cold dishes, overly spicy dishes (that wasn't mentioned on menu and pasta Bolognese probably shouldn't be very spicy). Will we go back? After 3 meals and 3 equally odd experiences, probably not, too many other places to try.
Unfortunately, they just can't win for losing. We've been several times, as we go to Tulalip pretty frequently. I do have to say, for the most part, the food is OK. I would say it is on par with a chain restaurant. The service can be absolutely horrendous, however. The entire set of servers should be turned over. I just don't know how they expect to be successful with the current staff on the floor.
We went at 6:30, just 1 1/2 hours after opening, and they claimed to already be sold out of a couple of items on the menu. One of which ( the sous-vide NY Strip) has been "sold out" every single time we have ever eaten at the restaurant, regardless of time of evening we dine. Then the server tries to lecture us on why...contradicting himself with every word. Completely condescending and rude. He had the same approach to our wine selection, trying to push a higher priced wine on us rather than simply pouring a glass of the specific wine we initially requested.
We have just had enough of this place. Multiple opportunities, and each one has fallen flat. We finally just requested the check for our drinks and walked out on the last visit. Just before, we saw our server and one of the cooks get into an argument. It just reinforced our decision.
Treated like a King from the moment I arrived to the end of the meal. Exceptional customer service from the servers who were extremely knowledgable about the foods. The chef even sent a welcome food gift which was a nice touch. The Steak and dessert was incredible. Look forward to returning soon.
We had a wonderful dinner where the food was superb, the service was on point and I loved the ambiance
The food was good but not exceptional, the service was good however the portions were disappointing for the high prices.
Excellent wine selection and the steak was perfect with the wine recommended. Staff recommended a local wine and it was so phenomenal that I’ve been trying to find it since.
The food was good, but not great. Our caesar salad was horrible and tasted like a whole can of sardines. Our server Nona was wonderful and made the negatives about our dinner much more positive. We would go back and try the pasta, but stay away from the steak, because we've paid far less for much better.
The food was excellent as was the service. One of the best dinners we've had in a long time. My wife had the beet salad and halibut. I had the crab cakes and the lobster ravioli. Good stuff!
Our Scottish server was awesome. I didn’t feel we got much value for our money. Caesar salad was very disappointing. Dishes were a little on the “bare” side.
Great dining experience with exemplary service from our server, April. This is our new favourite restaurant at Tulalip.
To start the lobster bisque was barely warm and the lobster what little there was of it was ice cold it had a smooth silky texture but no lobster or seafood flavor at all. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were very well done the lamb was cooked perfectly but was missing the flavor of a grill. The chicken was just ok and it was served with a head of roasted garlic which was ice cold as in straight from the refrigerator. The service was impeccable but the restaurant was noisy and we were there early the noise was coming from the casino not inside the restaurant. Overall for the price I have had much better. I will try them again but at this point, I was not terribly impressed with anything other than the service.
Everything was perfect. Food was excellent as well as the service. Great place to celebrate any occasion or just to bring family and friends
Excellent service, food was terrific! A little noisy though
Do not miss Tula Bene! The food was spectacular (we had the waygu & the filet, plus beet salad, risotto & fruit), the service was quite good & the ambiance on point. We enjoyed dinner so much that we returned later for dessert! The bunino was our favorite. Check it out!
