Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft Ratings and Reviews
We went for a late lunch for my birthday. We hadn’t realized there was a break in between lunch and dinner service. We felt quite rushed and felt as if we were in the way. The food was wonderful, but we wouldn’t appreciated more time with the menu as we can had to make a decision “quickly”. I’ll definitely go again, but only way before the kitchen closes so I can enjoy myself.
I always like Thai food and this was very good. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors and yummy appetizers to share. We had 9 in our party and everyone liked their food. That is not that easy with a few picky eaters and age ranges from 13 to 75! We don't live in Atlanta but if we did we would definitely return.
We were really looking forward to eating here for the first time and as excited as we were it exceeded our expectations!! The food was fabulous, our server Emily was great, and the restaurant decor and ambience was incredible. We walked outside to see that seating and look forward to being out there when the weather is right.
I am so appreciative to the staff at Tuk Tuk who made our dinner for 12 people on Dec. 30th completely flawless. We were seated quickly, and our server was friendly and efficient. Our family which included some people from out of state had a wonderful time. We had a variety of small plates and entrees which seemed to please everyone. We also enjoyed the Atlanta skyline.
My grown children and I ate here on Christmas - my kitchen is undergoing renovation and the traditional family dinner at home just wasn't an option. So we decided to go the cliche "Asian" for Christmas dinner and then go to the Botanical Gardens for the light show after. The plan worked out wonderfully. A 6:15 reservation at Tuk Tuk was available and we drove right over to the B. Gardens after.
So, Tuk Tuk itself was perfect. We were seated immediately, although all of our party had not yet arrived. Our server, Thien, was quick to greet us, get us water, and ask us if we wanted appetizers. The veggie samosas were delicious. We all ordered something different so that we could share bites (a family tradition) and everyone was happy with what they ordered and enjoyed tasting everyone else's choices. We had a panang, Pad Prik King, Green Curry, a noodle dish (can't remember exactly...) but it was all delicious. Thanks for a great Christmas dinner, Tuk Tuk.
Nick and Marissa gave us great service, the cocktails were tasty and interesting (particularly the Black Mojito), and the food was delicious. We shared the Nuah Ping and Samosa appetizer. My friend and I each had Thai salads and shared the Pla Tod, which was particularly good and enough food for two less hearty appetites. All in all, a great dining experience. And the no-hassle parking was an additional plus.
Tuk Tuk is an AMAZING restaurant. We made reservations and were seating in a timely manner. All the food was great and our server, Tina was amazing. I loved the authenticity of the "street food" style. Tina was welcoming and knowledgable. I can't wait to go back.
Went to Tuk Tuk with my boyfriend for a date night; we ordered the following:
- Thai Iced Tea
- Roti with green curry dipping sauce
- Panang Curry (vegetarian)
- Side of Basil fried rice
A word of caution: the curries are fish sauce based!
The Panang curry was just “ok”. It seemed pretty watered down and had a very peculiar taste that I’d never had in a Panang curry before. I would definitely order the green curry...that dipping sauce with the roti appetizer was AMAZING!!!
My husband and I went on a double date with another couple and we had a wonderful experience. Our server explained things on the menu that we had questions about and we were seated quickly next to a window. It was a fun experience and the tuk tuk in the lobby was cute!
