Offering a variety of small plates done in a tapas style, as well as larger entrees that showcase gourmet Thai Street Food.

Chef Dee Dee Niyomkul, daughter of Charlie & Nan Niyomkul (Creators of Nan Thai & Tamarind Seed), calls upon original recipes used by her mother and grandmother, an original street food vendor in Bangkok, to enchant diners. Niyomkul brings these unique flavors and spices to the table in a real gourmet fashion.

Came for Father’s Day, food came out quickly and was all delicious. We tried their special dessert and the pastry chef came out to serve it. This is our second time coming and every dish we’ve tried has been good portion size and great quality.

I used to love this place but alas it’s fallen below par. On a Friday night at 9 i was greeted slowly on a not so busy evening. Finally having been noticed a very nice server came by and provided water. Since the wait was so long i order drink, appetizer and dinner all at once immediately. That was the only quick part of the experience. I was sitting at a high top next to the bar and the bar tender was far more interested in three of the guys at the bar than making drinks which sadly delayed mine. Appetizer arrived before the drink and was blamed on the lack of servers but the bartender had plenty of time to socialize. After pointing that out to the server a poorly mixed drink arrived. I’ll assume the bartender wasn’t skilled. But a glass of warm gin and an a couple of lychee on a toothpick doesn’t quite meet the expectation. . Appetizer was the Beef skewer well below an acceptable temperature. Twice! Then a lull while i waited for the main. Main dish was the Thai fried rice with shrimp: But due to some ‘confusion ‘ my rice dish was delayed because they accidentally made it spicy tho i was never asked a spice preference. The man arrived looking a mess and not appealing in any way. But at least it was hot. But so bland. Worst yet the Oil tasted bad. Not spoiled but near it to the point i couldn’t eat it. Idk. For the price this is NOT the place. AVOID at all costs. Before leaving i was literally ordering food from another place so that i have a meal tonight. Sad

Because of Sam (our waiter) and Ernest (a friendly bartender who made sure we were taken care of when there was no host/hostess at the front upon our arrival), we had the BEST time at Tuk Tuk to celebrate my Magnificent Mama's 79th birthday. The food was so delicious and flavorful, and ambience, lovely and easy, and the service, impeccable. Sam went out of his way to ensure a lovely, memorable evening for us both, and we cannot wait to return SOON! THANK YOU, SAM and ERNEST, and thank you, Tuk Tuk! p.s. Their Mango Sticky Rice -- the BEST in town! But, then again, so is their Green Curry and Pad Thai... :)

Wonderful as usual, Salmon Penang never disappoints. The Thai chicken is also phenomenal. All appetizers are delicious as well.
