Tujague's - New Orleans
Lore states that brunch originated here, as did the Grasshopper cocktail. Homages to the restaurant's long and colorful history abound within the interior of the building from the classic 19th century architecture to memorabilia on the walls.
Menu items such as the seared gulf fish and the daily gumbo meld French traditions with New Orleans fare and flare. Our famous five course menu is still served nightly; but have no fear, the menu is no longer pre-fixe, so those less ravenous diners can join in too.
If you want a quintessential New Orleans experience filled with history and local fare, Tujague's is your place.

I noted it was on my reservation it was my birthday. No one acknowledged. I had to ask for a menu while I waited for the rest of my party. I would not recommend for a celebration my shrimp and grits were decent
The food is great and the drinks was excellent Amber was a wonderful server it was a wonderful time
Perfect afternoon lunch with the girls @ Tujague’s, definitely first class! The food was delicious…loved the boudin balls and our service was exceptional! We’ll be back again soon, for sure! Thank you for taking such good care of us!
Great lunch with friends- highly recommend. Food and service was outstanding.
Been here plenty of times and this visit was just as fantastic as every time in the past. Was thrilled to be greeted by the owner at the door! Can’t imagine that happens often at NOLA old line Restaurants?!!!
Highly recommend Tujague’s!!
Mark Latter and his team are the best!! Always a great experience!
Had my best experience there, in a while. They seem to have made a manager change. The new guy Mark was very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t stand the old one. He was so rude the two times we came in, last year.
Had another wonderful evening a Tujague's. Truly one of the best dining experiences not only in the French Quarter, but in the city!
Great experience!! Can’t wait to come back soon!
Group of friends got together for the Saints game!
Had a fabulous brunch with family before leaving New Orleans! Our server, Rachel, gave us excellent service. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.
Great restaurant in the heart of New Orleans. Probably the best shrimp and grits I've ever had (and that's saying a lot).
My family of eight enjoyed New Year’s Brunch here. We ordered most everything on the menu and wasn’t disappointed. The staff is very attentive too. I would definitely recommend!
Very good food, attentive service, delicious drinks. Very anew Orleans.
Great location. Very good, authentic creole food. Polite, helpful, attentive staff
New Year’s Eve dinner!!
They were not prepared for New Years dinner service
Busy NYE dinner. Delicious. The kitchen was slammed - but it was yummy and worth the short wait.
New Year’s Eve
They had a fixed menu for New Years Eve, supposedly to ensure timely service. We got our entrees one hour forty five minutes after being seated. Waitress promised to have the desert out immediately. 15 minutes later we paid and left, never got desert. Staff was indifferent. The bill was almost $1000 for 7 people, food was average service was terrible
Nye fixed price menu
Our family was in NOLA for the Sugar Bowl. We always try to eat at Tujague’s.
Total whim to stop here. Court is gorg and beat pork chop and shrimp and grits meals we ever had.
Came here to take my new bride for a quiet fancy night out and Tujagues didn’t disappoint. The waiter was pleasant and attentive. He gave great suggestions and was patient with her indecisive self haha. The manager passed by to check on how things were going and a quick talk. Really personable. The meal was fantastic. Everything came out together , timed perfectly. The drinks were really good. Especially their version of a Pimms Cup. I had quite a few!! Definitely looking to visit Tujagues again soon!!!
I really wanted to love it but my overall experience fail short. The food was subpar, the service was above and beyond amazing. Our waiter was perfect. The cocktails were very nice. I wouldn't recommend at this time but maybe if they change the food to reflect their 165 year old history, they would be a great place to visit.
I love Tujaque's -- always excellent. Went with family and it was was second trip to the new locations. Love the charm and ambiance. Great food and lovely service. Can't wait to go back.
Great restaurant! Great food and great service
Lovely food and great service.
Food was really amazing and service was great. When arriving we were asked if we wanted to be inside or outside. We preferred outside. It is just a pity that the patio was not set in advance. All table should have a table clothes maybe a candle on it as well. Appart from that all was really good!
Amazing food and very friendly staff!
I have an amazing evening!! That Mark Latter is a hoot!
Had a wonderful dinner on Thursday at Tujague’s. The staff was very attentive and the meal was excellent. It was a lively, fun, inviting environment. Honestly, so many places are closed due to COVID cases, it was very refreshing to see at least one restaurant not miss a beat. Can’t wait for our next trip!
Went to dinner to beat the NYE crowds and everything was fantastic. Service was spot on. Our server was patient and knowledgeable. Drinks were creative and delicious. I love trying new craft cocktails. The food was amazing- I had the ribeye and my husband had the fish -everything was outstanding. Dessert was so yummy!! We will definitely be back soon. Thank you Tujagues for an awesome date night!!
Tujague’s never disappoints! Our New Year’s Eve Eve dinner was great! Fabulous food and service, as always! The only thing I would change would be the weather….a bit warm for December, but that’s NOLA!
Wonderful meal and terrific service!
We had our wedding reception at Tujaques 10 years ago. We came back for our anniversary. From start to finish our meal was amazing and our 2 servers were awesome. We’ll be back in 5 years!!
Server was professional and she took care of food allergies.
The food was delicious, however the service was very slow. Our sever wasn’t particularly knowledgeable about the menu. Also, double check if gratuity is already included. We usually don’t miss it, but two of us did at this restaurant.
Excellent tasting food, but small portions and extremely limited menu options.
