Excellent as always. Great service. Good food and music to boot.
Great food, stunning location and impeccable service. We enjoyed our time at Wine Down, can’t wait to go again. A truly beautiful site with great friends celebrating the end of another successful school year.
We love going here the food is always so good and the service is superb.
Beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff. Food was good. Fair price
It is absolutely beautiful there and everyone is really friendly. The food and drinks were also delicious.
This was our first trip,up to the Tug Hill Vineyards. It was really an exceptional experience - totally worth the 80 minute drive to get there! We were a few minutes early and so had to wait for many others to be seated first. And once seated it was another 10 minutes or so before we were waited on. The line for the Sunday Buffet was rather long and was still worth the wait! The choices were fabulous! Everything was tasty and fresh! If I could improve only one thing, it would be that the wild rice were not mushy - the texture is what make wild rice amazing and this was clearly overdone. Other items on the days menu included cheesy eggs, applewood smoked bacon, ham, potatoes, beef tips pasta and Gorgonzola sauce and a seafood melody. Just delicious! After our brunch we ventured downstairs and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and wine tasting. What a splendid day! I would highly recommend!
Everything was wonderful. The only thing that I would have liked was if the food was hot. But it was a great experience!
The atmosphere of Tug Hill Vineyards is beautiful. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive and the food was delicious. It was nice to sit and listen to live music as well.
Love the place. Ambiance is great. Nice music. Terrific view.
So glad to be back at Tug Hill to enjoy the view, the wine and the Vintner's Lunch. Great time to be together with friends on the patio. Staff was as welcoming and friendly as could be! Thank you!
The food at the buffet was fresh and delicious! The buffet was great for both adults and children. The drinks were also very tasty. I think the Maple Mimosa was the best I tried. The wine tasting downstairs was also a very relaxing and tasty experience. Tug Hill is a perfect place for friends, couples, or families to grab brunch and a drink or two.
Food was cold even though they were contained in warmers. Bloody Mary wasn't good and neither were the lemon bars. The chowder and French toast were great. The employees were working very hard and tried to keep up a good service. We would definitely try it again in case this was on off day.
Very nice brunch pretty place
Looking forward to go back In summer
We loved everything about the experience! We will be coming back with my in-laws!
Marvelous brunch buffet. Foods are varied and well prepared. The ladies tend to dress nicely, but most guys look like slobs....Do better than shorts, hoodies and baseball caps at the table fellas! Sheesh!
Great night with friends. Loved the music!
Very nice setting - and very well handled during CoVid.
Tug Hill Estates is better than ever, with the updated tasting room/lounge and the new patio..... we love it there!
Tug Hill Vineyards is a beautiful place to dine. The food, atmosphere and service is excellent!
The Mother’s Day buffet was wonderful!
A very lovely place and experience. The food was mostly good but not excellent. Vegetables were undercooked, pasta was beyond al dente and seafood dish was very dry. Other menu options were good. The stuffed french toast was delicious. The view and the ambience was excellent. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. They have a new outdoor dining area with heaters for each table which will make for a lovely dining experience as the weather improves.
Everything went very smoothly for being a busy Mother's Day. Buffet lines moved pretty quickly. All the food was great! Very pleasant, we will be back.
Great views and food!we really enjoy the atmosphere.
A wonderful day for Sunday brunch with the family. My husband and I took our three young children and they absolutely loved the experience. We all got dressed up and made the brunch special. There were so many excellent choices from stuffed French toast to poached egg with Hollandaise sauce. Smoked maple bacon to shrimp scampi. The dessert table was fab and the kids loved the chocolate strawberry whoopie pies, I had a delish creme brûlée and the husband had tiramisu. Alll so good. The drinks!!! You could choose from their extensive selection of estate wines... but we settled on bloody Mary’s they could have been a meal in itself. We had a gorgeous view overlooking the Black River valley all during brunch. Our server Nikki was super accommodating, especially with the kids and checked on us many times and made sure we had everything. What a special place and such a fab meal.
Great night out. Nice menu Nice wines and cocktails.
Spring dinner was delicious. The roasted red pepper appetizer was outstanding
Absolutely amazing breakfast buffet. Highly recommend trying. Beautiful decor and very relaxing
Thank You for the positive review Michele! We appreciate it!
Excellent food selection and beautiful atmosphere.
Thanks Alex! Come again!
Picturesque location, architecture fits setting, relaxing ambience. We tried 8 different wines and liked them all; so good, it was difficult to decide ones to bring home with us to Wisconsin: we chose the Marquette and Lake Effect. Food quality was excellent, a good value, presentation artistic, flavors outstanding. We didn’t try the Charcuterie Board, but would on next visit. There are several wineries in Wisconsin with similar concept, which we rate very highly and Tug Hill Winery is right up there with them!
Overall, recommend. A great way to end the day in the Adirondack region.
Many wineries in Wisconsin grow similar grapes, glad to hear we compare with them well! Come again!
First time there and loved it. Will be back. My husband and I particular enjoyed their Lake Effect wine.
Everything was fantastic!
We love Tug Hill. The food delicious, their wines are great, and the staff are amazing. I'm always impressed!
Very nice Easter brunch. Friendly, helpful staff and delicious food.
Went for Easter brunch. Food was poor, service was worse. Had to hold my infant on my lap due to their lack of high chairs.
Hi Timothy, we're sorry to hear this happened! We've increased the number of high chairs on hand to make sure it never happens again. It hasn't been a problem in years past and we apologize for the inconvenience. We hope you and your family come again!
Love everything about Tug hill from their customer service to their food and drinks I 100% recommend it to everyone
We love the cheese board. Of course the wines are excellent.
Our server was wonderful and checked in on us without being too involved. The atmosphere was relaxing. The one criticism I have is that while staff were following COVID protocols, I saw many patrons not following mask guidelines and some were admitted without wearing them at all. This was disappointing to see and it would be great to see that enforced in the future.
Hello Angela, we take COVID protocols seriously. That evening there was a small private party of guests who have been together prior to our event on our outdoor porch that was separated from the main dining hall. Throughout the pandemic no transmission has been reported to spread through our establishment. We hope you come again when things are back to normal!
Great brunch. Yummy food, good experience. The establishment is beautiful.
It was very fancy, super delicious it was one of the best experiences I’ve had here in NY. Thank you!
