We call ourselves the next generation steakhouse, as our menu is packed with the typical shellfish appetizers, salads, burgers, steaks, chops and grilled seafood, with the addition of pastas and risotto. It ventures into South America with Peruvian ceviche and yellow corn Venezuelan tamale.
If you like to end your meal with a cigar, you will find accommodation in the chocolate cigar heading up to dessert menu: NY cheese cake, Chocolate Cremeux, Banana Cream Pie, Mille Feuilles...some inspired by our chefs native Dominican republic.

The place is a well hidden gem! It is a must try as the food is fantastic and the service spectacular!
Kinda an old fashioned institute but will return again
Went for Restaurant Week. Amazing food, service and wine menu. Classy ambiance matched by knowledgeable waiters who were fantastic. Would go again!
A surprise last minute restaurant week reservation turned into one of the best dinners ever! A bit difficult to find due to construction, have to remember to look up! It is in the cutest little Tudor City are and our waiter was a dream! Courteous, polite and very helpful. He made great recommendations for all our courses and was very on top of our water situation. The crab cake was delightful, the lobster bisque was good but I'd love to go back and try something else. The sirloin and veal were both tasty with good portions and the greens beans & mash side were perfect. Topped off with cheesecake for me and chocolate lava for my date, it was a feast to remember. What made it all the more memorable was the free bubbly they brought out to celebrate our anniversary. This place goes above and beyond to cater to you and it was truly appreciated. I would love to return!
I went to eat here with my brother who was visiting from Boston. We got in late and were the only patrons in the whole place! It was a beautiful restaurant, the food was amazing and we loved the service!! Highly recommend everything, everything taste so fresh and cooked to perfection!
Very nice quiet dining experience. Server was very nice and sweet. Wish she was more friendly and welcoming. Tried to make conversation but failed. It did take awhile for her to take our order and bring bread to the table. Food was delicious. The skirt steak was made to perfection. It was pink and juicy. The sauce to dip added the necessary touch to complete the steak. As for the vegetable lasagna, she wished the vegetables were chopped rather than sliced and it was hard to cut down with a fork and you had to use the knife. But it was seasoned well. Mac n cheese was cheesy and delicious. Overall a great meal and a great view after dinner.
The food at Tudor City Steakhouse was awesome. I had the crab cake for appetizer and it was truly delicious. Their Skirt Steak was really tender and very delicious. My friends and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant and would definitely dine here again.
Great Steaks...Very good and attentive staff...Beautiful Decor...
our waiter was great. He offered suggestions for food and wine but was not pushy. Everyone loved their meal and had a great time
Great food and atmosphere!!
The service is impeccable. Went for restaurant week and there was so many options to choose from. The food had so much flavor. It felt like one was at home. Also free parking up to 4hrs around the corner. You cant beat that!
Absolutely amazing...We always order Porterhouse Steak when we come here and always is cooked to perfection. Chef Joaquin Linares is a Steak maestro...David,Manager of this establishment is gracious and very accommodating...GREAT JOB GUYS!
This establishment never disappoints me...The food and also the service is off the charts...Kirk (Captain) is a real expert in wine and David (the Manager) is very accommodating. Great Restaurant
Exceptional Restaurant...excellent Porterhouse, cooked to perfection, outstanding service and very cozy atmosphere...We will definitely be coming back...
Terrible rip off of a meal!!! They had the nerve to add 18% tip. I ordered from the restaurant week menu. Had a 3 oz piece of over cooked skirt steak that I requested medium but came out over done. It was extremely salty and chewy. Some yellowed broccoli and a tablespoon of mashed potatoes. A ramekin of pickled peppers in vinegar that tasted like it was poured from a jar. Menu did not state they included gratuity.
My dining companion ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp. It was an entree size iceberg lettuce salad that came with four small burnt shrimp.
This place is horrible!! I feel cheated. I spent 4 days of my lunch budget on this meal.
The ambience is awful, it was old and dusty. The room was hot and sticky. We were seated near an AC unit that didn’t work and looked like it was top of the line in the 50s.
Please don’t recommend this place to diners.
I came for Restaurant Week Summer 2018 and loved it. The lobster bisque was absolutely delicious, as was the crab cake. The aged sirloin was cooked impeccably and delicious as well. The lobster risotto was very tasty but had too many peas for my preference. Desserts (cheesecake and chocolate lava cake) were also a hit.
The entrance to the restaurant is beautiful and upon walking in I discovered there is happy hour from 3-6:30 PM and then again after 9 PM. They have bar bites at $8 each (sliders, crab cakes, skewers). I will definitely be back for that another day.
Our waiter was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I may have to take him up on his wine recommendation on my next visit.
I definitely recommend the restaurant for the Restaurant Week prices. I think the regular prices are on par with other steak houses but haven't tried the rest of the menu yet.
The food was good though pricey. And we saw flies at our tables during lunch
Restaurant seemed to have no air conditioning. Waiter didn't ask us if we would like a cocktail. Long wait for waiter to return with anything through out our stay. We ordered from the restaurant week menu. Waiter took our order and we TOLD HIM we would like drinks. Waiter came back and told us we need to order our dessert, choice of cheese cake or chocolate mousse cake (these were not the choices on the menu)Then after seeing other tables that came in after us getting their drinks we asked the girl pouring water if she could check on the drinks and she said no. We got another waiter to check on our drinks, then the original waiter came back with the drinks, one drink was wrong and had to be taken back. One meal was supose to come with a vegtable and fries we had to ask for them and the meat was done before they came. By now we were pretty much done with Tudors so we asked for the check and the desserts to go. We were given two 1/4 inch thick slices of cheese cake. Wait staff NEVER asked if we would like another drink, how was our meal, did we need anything else etc.TERRIBLE experience!!!!
Service: Long waits for drinks and between courses. Water not replenished. Napkin that was removed was not replaced. Server did not check back during the meal.
Food: It was Restaurant Week. We were told that none of the entree accompaniments were available that were listed on the printed menu and that everything had been replaced with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Poor quality salmon in the salmon tartare. The broccoli tasted off. The chocolate lava cake tasted mass produced and did not arrive with a warm center.
Other: On a very hot, humid day, the air conditioning was barely working. To exacerbate matters, the main, exterior door was left open.
Great steak. Came for anniversary and it was restaurant week so we got steak and veal. Flavor and temp were spot on.
The prix fixe early dinner (3pm-6pm) was exceptional value. The food, a filet mignon for my wife and salmon for me, were both perfectly prepared. We would like to give a special shout out to the steak which had not been over salted, as is the case in several steak houses in our area. Service could not have been better. And the restaurant was on the quiet side which was great for conversation An excellent evening.
This is a neighborhood gem! Beautiful, quiet location. Service is impeccable, and the food is spectacular.
While we went for a birthday dinner, they also have wonderful happy hour specials as well.
Great Manhattan steak house finally in the Tudor City area. No need to go to Peter Luger’s anymore.
We had a good time, but the AC wasn’t working properly so it was kinda sticky.
Also, although our waiter was friendly and helpful, we asked for some condiments and a sparkling water that never came. Weird given that the place was at about 25% capacity.
What a special place. It is a beautiful spot, incredibly convenient yet out of the way. The bar is delightful, the restaurant is wonderful. I'll be back - often.
Might have a different experience during the week and the UN in session but we had reservations for Saturday night and it was a lovely evening of dining.
Food and service were excellent. I had the pork chop Marsala and my companions had steak. Everyone loved their food. The side of creamed corn was delicious.
Would absolutely go back for a date night or another special occasion.
We dined at the sophisticated TCS yesterday early evening, 6pm. As it was before the nearby fireworks there was a good atmosphere. Service by Eddie from Montenegro was excellent and in particular he prevented a nut allergy reaction my daughter is prone to by carefully checking the ingredients of the cheesecake dessert. The fillet mignon was superb. The value of our set menu was excellent, at less than $40 each. Good choice of wine by the glass. I would definitely return and so would my wife and daughters.
The space was the hallowed ground braking restaurant L'Impero by Scot Conant (later Convivio with Michael White). These are big shoes to fill. Scott Conant's approach with simplicity and authenticity of Italian cuisine (may be a little excesses of butter) but the formula was an instant success. The space was up market and elegant, the food was reasonably priced, simple and tasty. The TCSH occupies the same space, this was my third visit because I work in the neighborhood and and would like a reliable eatery near by. I wish the new owners well but they will need to simplify the menu and focus on some signature dishes and improve the service. They could have the wining formula if they are able to do that.
Christian was great, bread is terrible, dewars regular at $16 is too high, Caesar salad was so so, rib eye was excellent as was filet! Most steak houses have terribly fatty rib eyes! If they improved their salad and bread and priced everything else slightly lower it would rate as excellent dining!!!
Well they for my order wrong so I was without a meal. Didn’t want everyone to wait until my meal came
So shared spouses. Wine list very limited. We were there to celebrate a Birthday. When dessert came out was still frozen. Waiter was very knowledgeable, but he had an odor not fit for dinning. I will not be going back 😤
Was a waste of money.
This was our first time here (based on a friend's recommendation) and we were not disappointed. The ambience was open, light, and airy (unlike many steakhouses which are dark & somber). The service was extremely attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. For our appetizers, we shared the Lump Crabmeat Cocktail and the Fresh Mozzarella & Beef Steak Tomato Salad. My wife had the 12 oz. Filet Mignon and I had the Prime New York Sirloin. For our sides, we shared the Sautéed Mushrooms and the (wonderfully decadent!) Truffle Creamed Corn. The portions were so plentiful that we had to take some home. . . .which was the only way we could share a terrific Chocolate Cremeux (peanut butter chocolate mousse, candied salted peanuts, mandarin sauce, chocolate cake) for dessert! It's not a cheap pricetag, but we felt that we totally got our money's worth! We stay in Tudor City when we come to NYC and we definitely will return. Highly recommended!
First time visit with friends from Paris. Very pleased with the menu choices and food preparation. Waiter was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the food preparation.we had a gluten free guest who comfortably found menu items to suit. We were celebrating a birthday but were full from the generous portions of the salad and main courses thus passed on dessert. The waiter promptly returned to the table with glasses of champagne to wish our guest a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Well done Tudor City Steakhouse. Next time in NYC I will return.
Having lived in Tudor City for many years this locale is ordinarily the kiss of death. I hope that is not the case this time, as Tudor City Steak House is a genuine surprise. The prix-fixe dinner menu is exceptional. Have now tried several starters, all outstanding. The petite filet mignon is also a must. Well worth a visit.
Wonderful neighborhood steak house. Great steaks at reasonable prices. Service was outstanding. Quite restaurant good for conversations or business meetings. In Tudor City, near the United Nations, is one of Manhattan's hidden secrets with two private parks which are open to the public.
Great steakhouse and service. Love the Tudor City location. Good wine list with choices that don't break the bank.
Excellent all around experience - food was great, service attentive and ambiance very nice. For those who don’t know the Tudor City neighborhood, check this place out!
I've been wanting to check out Tudor City Steakhouse for awhile now. We went for Mother's Day brunch and will definitely be back soon. The lobster bisque might be the best I've ever had. Everyone loved the food. Wait staff was attentive. I liked the décor and the views of Tudor City park on a spring day can't be beat. I would definitely recommend.
Great food and excellent service ...Very Cozy Place...We will definitely be back ...
Great service. Fantastic steak and don't miss the creamed corn. Millefeuille dessert wonderful.
Excellent night! We booked last minute with 3 kids. We got a great round table and everything was easy and perfect.
