Tuccio's Ratings and Reviews
One of the worst meals I have ever had. This was a going away lunch for 2 employees. It was embarrassing. We all ordered different things and they were all bad. The garlic bread was like the frozen kind you buy at the market and was served uncut. The strawberry salad was not fresh, it was like they were frozen strawberries. The pizza was mediocre. The pasta dish was all sauce. I will never come here again.
I wish I could rate the new restaurant higher but I cannot. We ordered a pizza for an appetizer and 2 cocktails. The pizza came before the cocktails. Dinner came and the waiter brought the wrong wine. Their "best" dish was pasta with wild boar ragout which was over salted so we really did not eat it. When the waiter asked how it was and we said over salted he said ok I'll let the kitchen know. Never bothered to ask if we wanted something different, did not offer to take it off the check. Overall not a bad experience just not a good one. Oh and bring back the valet service at least on weekends.
I have been to two restaurants in this location and both missed the mark. Tuccio's on the other hand is a breath of fresh air and I am so excited to have found it. It's pretty, sophisticated, warm, friendly, service-oriented, and has a great atmosphere -- and oh, did I mention the food is spectacular???? Combine all that with the fact that is is refreshingly NOT BRIGHT AS DAYLIGHT, and you have my new favorite restaurant.
The food and service were both excellent. Had a problem with the music being quite loud, so we sat outside which was better. Had intended on sitting inside, however, with the loud music coming from the bar, it was very difficult to have conversations at the table. This was the only drawback about our experience at Tuccio's.
Very overpriced for what we got. We were there for Mother's Day and now I understand why there were so many empty table for such a busy day. I tried four other places first but was unable to get reservations anywhere. The food was bland to the point of boring. Especially the mushroom omelet .. That had maybe 4 mushrooms on it. The squash blossoms had no taste at all. If they are going to survive they better had some flavor to their food and check their prices.
I had checked out the reviews before going and was a bit leery as they didn't trend towards the positive, so we were happily surprised with the evening.
The Menu in general was not appealing to me so am really pleased to say what I did order was wonderful! The Brussel Sprouts are excellent and I also had a Sea Bass appetizer special that was great. My husband had a pizza with Pork and it, too was delicious. Popovers- yum! Had a really nice glass of Yardstick Cab- had never tried that winery before and my husband enjoyed his margarita. Nice night- great service.
My wife learned about your restaurant at the latest "The Taste of the Valley" and we thought we would try the food. Our table was ready when we arrived and we were seated immediately. The evening went downhill from there. Although we were served our sparkling water right away, the bread and olive oil and vinegar we requested never appeared. In fact, initially they said they had no balsamic vinegar. ( In an Italian restaurant ?!?! ). Our food was delayed so long that a waiter assumed we had already eaten and asked if we wanted desert. The food was flavorless and not up to temperature. Your website menu is not the same as your working menu and the website states you have valet parking which you do not. You were out of the sorbetto by 8pm. To be fair, the waitress comped us to a free gelato to make up for the sorbetto. To sum up, we had a thoroughly unimpressive $100+ experience and will neither be returning nor recommending your establishment. Sorry, but you asked....
I really don't like giving bad reviews, so I hope this will help Tuccio's to improve the service. It was very expensive for the quantity. I am telling you that and I am French so not accustomed to big plates. The food was okay though, but honestly the quantity was not right. My husband ordered a $39-fish, and he did not even have a full filet. The side was inexistent. He had 2 poor baby carrots and few mushrooms, which he did not eat because he does like mushrooms, and it was not indicate on the menu. We arrived at 8pm and did not eat before 845/9pm, so it was a bit long. Very sorry about it, but for now I prefered the Cafe Fiore.
Horrible hostess she had zero energy level and waiters non attentive
Took 45 minutes to get an appetizer that had no flavor . Food horrible and presentation just as bad! Bartender nice but clueless that our food came out in shifts 20 Minutes apart for main meal - Reason for delay in food ready... head chef was off...
Attentive service and nice ambiance once you get inside (it's in ground floor of a corporate office building). This is the old location of Cafe Fiore and before that, Milanos (I'm dating myself here.
Had high hopes for this place as good Italian is hard to find nowadays (thanks GF world!). The pasta is freshly made but all the plates we tried were way too salty.
Cocktails were well done and again the service was very attentive.
This is not an Italian restaurant as far as the food, the decor and the service are concerned. Also, not clean. I had to clean the booth seats and then we had to have our utensils changed because they were dirty. The pizza dough is hard to cut with a knife. The potato croquette was all messed up and did not look like croquette.
They asked us if we were celebrating anything and we told them a birthday. Couldn't believe it when they gave us a dessert menu and charged us. The dessert was horrible. Our server took it off the bill. The hummus was just so so but we somewhat liked the bread....very salty. We liked the risotto but the pizza was awful. It was very very dry and unappealing.
My girlfriend is allergic to anything dairy. I let them know that on the phone Monday afternoon and they said "no worries. We can make it happen for you". Long story short they didn't make it happen for me. I will never go back to this place for as long as I live
