Ordered the classic margarita and was disappointed. Tasted like a large batch mix, and came with no salt or the glass rim. I’d hoped it would be a real mixed drink made to order but was not. Also ordered the chicken enchiladas. The tortillas were rustic and yummy, the green tomatillo salsa was fresh, but flavorless and had no kick. There was supposed to be cheese, but couldn’t find it. The chicken was overcooked, dry and flavorless. The black beans and cabbage slaw were average. My dining partner ordered a chicken and pastor taco and said both were delicious. Will try the tacos and brunch next time before I give up on the place. Really wanted to like it. We sat outside, which was nice. Note that the sun hits direct on the seating area early evening. Inside looked really noce and was not too crowded. Jennifer was a great server.
ummm I guess I wasn’t expecting the small plates to be THAT small. The brunch menu was not giving. The margs were good. The waiters gave us other ppls food a couple of times. yeahh not coming back
It was ok but not great! I expected much more
The tacos and quesadillas were amazing and super tasty!
Perfect! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Menu was great
Service runs slow.
Food was terrible, Margaritas were cheap and bland, waited at least 30 minutes before we got waters, never gave us utensils, gave us the wrong food.
This was my first time eating at TTT but I’m definitely coming back. This atmosphere is amazing, the service is as great, food and drinks were fantastic. The decor of the restaurant was very creative. My best friend and i didn’t want to leave and trust me and we will me back later on this week.
Waiter didn’t greet us for 20minutes. Took an hour to get my drink even after asking the waiter 3 times. Placed an order for 6 (3 adults, 3 kids). After 2 hours waiter didn’t put any of the kids order in and said it would take longer (again we already waited 2 hours) Ended up canceling their order and eating elsewhere.
I'm not sure what happened during my last visit. It was a Friday night during restaurant week and it was moderately busy. I made a reso for 6pm and was taken upstairs when I arrived. Unfortunately, metal bar chairs were blocking the top of the landing so I had to work my way around them to get to my table.
I asked the waitress if they had mojitos and she said yes. My date order a classic margarita. There was a bar on both levels. Only the overly-sweetened-with-sour-mix margarita arrived. I was told they don't have mojitos. They also didn't have a spirits menu which may have helped with the next part. My date didn't like his sour mix drink so he asked for tequila and pineapple juice. No pineapple juice and no choice of tequila except house tequila. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but the name is Tacos, Tortas & Tequila... so why the heck is there only 1 dang tequila at a Mexican place??? We both just resigned to have a class of sparkling white wine. Somehow, he got almost double the wine in his glass than I did (shrug).
The restaurant week offerings weren't clear and limited that it wasn't worth it to try. So we ordered chips and salsa, tacos & a quesadilla. The food was meh. Inconsistent side portions so don't bank on getting the most bang for your buck. The kitchen and/or waitress messed up multiple orders in our section (including mine), water was spilt on a guest, there was a cameraman constantly taking pictures of food with the flash on & my bill was incorrect when I was ready to pay. Maybe it was an off night because I had been here before and I had such a good time that I chose to return. Too bad the second visit was so underwhelming.
Everything was 12/10! I’m coming back for more
I had a great time at TTT during D.C restaurant week!
This was a GREAT place for restaurant week. And would say a good place for lunch in general. Very very good food. Tables are spaced out.
The service took a long time. The food was not tasty & some dishes came out cold. They tequila selection was limited. They said there shipment was missed so there was only one type of tequila to choose from.
Unlimited brunch is such a great deal. We went to celebrate a birthday and everything was so good. 0.99 Margs had us lit too
Nice outdoor sidewalk dining experience. Unfortunately we were seated next to an obnoxious table for the majority of our time but the restaurant shouldn’t be blamed for its patrons’ poor manners. I enjoyed the chicken empanadas, fried chicken tacos, and bulgogi tacos as well as the cheesecake crepes. Didn’t care for the guacamole and salsa-all were not well-seasoned and the texture of the salsas were very thin and watery. Will go again and try more menu options
Sliders are extremely small (as in 2 bites) - not worth $6 at all. My friend said her tacos were delicious as well as the table next to us. Server was only so-so. Would come back and try something different.
The food was good but very small sizes, the wait for our food was long considering the small sizes I don’t see why, and a couple of servers didn’t bring the correct dish, but our waitress was good
My friend and I went there for brunch and the food & drinks were amazing! Their strawberry mimosas were delicious and their brunch deal was definitely worth it.
Waiter did not check on us. He came to our table every 15-20 minutes. Quality of service was underrated. Poor options and pairs. would not recommend.
Excellent food and good service! My boyfriend and I were obsessed with the Queso Fundido, it came out sizzling. Super melty and stringy cheese 😋. The spicy margaritas were definitely SPICY. We heard the table next to us send them back because they couldn’t handle the heat, luckily my boyfriend and I love spicy so we enjoyed ours. Just know they have a serious kick. Great find in dtss and looking forward to going back.
Tacos was horrible! Shrimp was over cooked . It’s nothing like their Instagram photos.
Please reopen the upstairs seating area. The downstairs area may be fine for some folks, but real chairs for more mature diners would be greatly appreciated.
Lydia was an awesome waitress! Food and drinks were great!
We had such a good time. The food and service was great!
The concept is nice and the restaurant is super cute. However, the food wasn’t hot, but had good flavor, but good flavor doesn’t cut it when the temperature isn’t right.
We had no other option but to order the brunch, so don’t go thinking you can order off the menu, at least on Sunday mornings.
Our initial server didn’t seem to understand our request (language barrier) and we ultimately got another server who was fine, and doubled as the bartender.
If you go, just manage your expectations.
The staff were friendly and attentive; however our order was incorrect and had to remind our server a couple of times.
Food was awesome! Drinks didn’t make the cut and service was a bit slow but super friendly!! I work at a restaurant where we do $35 unlimited brunch, that’s including drinks and food as well and let me tell you that our drinks are nothing like these! I felt like I was drinking juice (mimosas) and sour mix with the margaritas. Can you say headache? I know they’re only 25 cents but they could be a lot better. Definitely would recommend for the food, not the drinks
It was delicious!!! The $34 brunch + 25 cent drink specials is a hidden DC gem!! Yum!!! They have a two hour limit but it was such a great deal we couldn't complain!
I would return. Vibe is good. No real happy hour and it is much needed for the area. Especially post COVID19 confinement. Food was just ok...nachos was cold. Staff good. Drinks great (mango margaritas and sangria).
Poor customer service. We ordered their bottomless brunch option and only saw our server three times throughout our two hour reservation, so we were not able to order much. Will not return.
We went for the bottomless brunch and it was amazing! Our server was so friendly and all of the food wants amazing. The drinks were amazing our favorite was the spicy marg!
Seems like they just took the space over from the last restaurant without moving in. Paper napkins on are tables, no art on the walls, no cushions on the wire chairs. The server was doing an admirable job but they appeared understaffed. Food was ok. I heard people saying the drinks were good. Hopefully they will get their act together.
Had a good time. The drinks were great, the food was okay and our service was excellent.
Service was the greatest thing about our night. Our waitress was impeccable. I recommend getting the short rib quesadillas.
The food and drinks were delicious! Our party ordered chicken enchilada. Seafood enchilada, and a fajita grilled chicken bowl and rice grilled chicken bowl. Everyone was satisfied
This place was recommended by some family friends. We ordered a pitcher of Strawberry Margarita, appetizers, and food. They did not have a full bar. They have tequila in the name of the restaurant however did not have any tequila except for a cheap well. The only drinks available was on their menu ie: Margaritas, Sangrias, and limited beer selection. Considering we went out for drinks and to hang out, I would NOT recommend this place, unless you only want the items listed. Ordered some empanadas. Their were 2 tiny empanadas for $10( I didnt get to try them as there were 4 of us, lol)! We were better off ordering a meal for that price. The burritos were just okay. Not something we would go back for. Overall, went with good company so it made the experience better. The waiter was also amazing so that helped out a lot.
I used to go to TTT pre-pandemic all the time and the whole restaurant has changed a lot. Outdoor seating was good. The server was nice, but service was slow and he did not seem aware of specials that are listed on the TTT website. I looked at the menu and deals ahead of time, and when I inquired, he was not familiar. He also asked the manager who said they were not aware of or were not doing those promotions at this time. Update your website and train your staff! Additionally, there was no draft beer available as it was broken and they were out of white sangria. My friend and I got margaritas, which were very disappointing compared to what I remember getting there before the pandemic. The menu has changed A LOT. The food was just okay, but was fairly pricey. They even charge you extra for chips and salsa and that portion is very small. Overall, I do not expect to return, unfortunately, even though this was a favorite place before the pandemic.
We had a good time at brunch. There were limitations on how much you could order for food and drinks each time. It was not a problem for us but I would have liked to know the limitations in advance. The food came out as it was prepared so we weren't waiting around for all items to be ready before receiving them which was great.
