Tsunami Shaw Center - Baton Rouge Ratings and Reviews
Wonderful as always. We heard several people commenting that Joe was the best server they had had which is exactly why we requested him- always personable, great personality and his recommendations for specIals have never let us down!
Thanks again for another great evening😊
We have been here several times. It is on the 6th floor overlooking the Mississippi River which is beautiful at sunset and into the night.
The service is always exceptional and the menu selections are numerous.
Whether you prefer basic sushi or specialty items, they have you covered.
Leave room for dessert as they have a unique version of bread pudding .
We highly recommend them for a wonderful dining experience.
A group of us just having dinner and cocktails. Love the vibe in the restaurant. The view is great. The service was not bad our waitress was very sweet and attentive but more than once forgot things we asked for. The food was good but cocktails were better. Had an after dinner drink at the bar on the way out. Best chocolate martini ever!
We started the evening off with the spicy edamame, thai beef salad and pimps salads. All were wonderful and items I would order again. We then moved onto the Sashimi Dinner which had tuna, salmon, escolar, and yellowtail. Not a fan of escolar, but the freshness and size of the fish was very nice. We then had a few rolls. The Don Tuan, The Green Monster were real standouts for us. The veiw is breathtaking and I am looking forward to our next visit.
Came in at 4pm. The Resturant was very slow. Hostess sat us promptly at window seat over looking the river. Our service was the only real issue. The guy was super slow and rarely came back to our table. Drinks took almost 15 mins. and we ordered one roll to share which took almost 30 mins to hit our table. When he noticed us asking another server about our food he rushed to back and walked out with our roll right away. This makes me think it was not the kitchen being slow, but he did not bother to check on if our food was ready. The wasabi Bloody Mary was FABULOUS!
We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and it was phenomenal! Started off in the bar a we waited for our table to be ready and the bartender was friendly and answered several questions about drinks as we picked out what we wanted. We were escorted to our table by a lovely hostess and greeted warmly by our server. The extended happy hour offerings were great! Highly recommend the Green Monster if you like a little sweetness with your sushi. We were surprised by a special birthday dessert at the end of the meal, on the house! Overall, would definitely return!
