Ben is the best bartender in the city. Food and drinks were phenomenal. Dinner plates are perfectly portioned and seasoned. Great wine selections.
Dinner was for business purposes and a perfect quiet place with outstanding food and service.
We were seated right away for our reservation. Service was great. Had the calamari appetizer and the shrimp potstickers. Calamari was good potstickers were excellent. For dinner we had the sea bass on blackened Thai rice, and the tuna. Seabass was excellent tuna was good. Overall it was a great dining experience. Would definitely recommend it.
The food is fresh and thoughtfully prepared with many dished featuring local ingredients.
I call it high end Bistro style with Asian influence. We were never rushed which left us plenty of time to catch up with old friends. A wonderful experience that was well worth the price charged.
Always enjoy the creative small plates and the menu items that have been available for over 20 years. One of the best restaurants in Memphis!
Our first time and definitely coming back! Great place in general especially the Roasted Sea Bass. Highly recommended!
Great menu in a fun location.
Didn’t even know this place existed! We had such a great time. The ambiance is so inviting and relaxing. The food and drinks were amazing! We started off with the calamari (so good) and had the pasta and Salmon as entrees. Did I mention how good the drinks were, kudos to the waiter/bartender!! You were awesome! We will definitely be back! ❤️
Tsunami is one of my favorite restaurants. Well worth a visit! Yum!
The service was excellent, food was delicious, and ambience was perfect. My partner and I had a fantastic anniversary dinner!
Great as always. Ben and the entire staff did not disappoint.
Always wonderful service and cuisine
The other excellent reviews were the reason we picked this restaurant to try and it did not disappoint. Sea bass was outstanding. We had to make late in day change to our time of reservation due to the awful bridge traffic and they were able to accommodate our party of 2 at a later time. Great service.
Shrimp dumplings, Salmon with ginger/pineapple dressing, flourless chocolate cake, and everything was beautifully plated and absolutely delicious!!
Most of the food was very good, however I found the beans and rice that came with Fish tacos to be bland
Excellent food and service as usual- thank you for another really nice evening!
Small plates were amazing! Glad to be back in room dining at Tsunami!
Best restaurant in Memphis! Consistently delicious!
This is just a great place to dine! The tuna and sea bass are especially good. We ate outside. It felt like we were in a side walk cafe in Paris or Florence with all the people walking by.
We have been eating at Tsunami for over 20 years!! The food is always delicious and the menu features new dishes along with old favorites. You won't be disappointed!
Consistently great food, friendly staff and great service. I have never had a bad meal and probably eaten at this restaruant 75+ times. Highly recommend it. Darrin D. Memphis, TN.
Upscale, cafe style restaurant. Table well space for COVID dining. Host at door very warm, friendly and accommodating.
Our meal was as delicious as it was presented.
Amazing restaurant, atmosphere is upscale bohemian, cool laid back, food and service great! Love that they do small plates as well as regular entrees, had a small plate and a salad and it was just enough.
A wonderful evening. Food and staff was exceptional. Thank you!
Food is always good and the service was wonderful!
We love Tsunami. And always know the food will be wonderful and the service excellent. We were not disappointed on any of those. We were surprised that he Sea Bass entrée has increased in price to $40.00, We understand that Covid has impacted the restaurants but this one is really hard to take, especially since the portions seemed smaller. While a Australian Rack of Lamb - Half Rack 12-14 oz. is not Sea Bass, it is only $38.00 at Folks Folly, Season 52 has Sea Bass for $32.00.
Everything about our dinner was just right. I was a little worried our table near the bar would be noisy and busy, but as it is kind of tucked into its own little alcove, neither was a problem. Service was outstanding, food delicious.
This was our first time back since they have reopened, and it was delicious and wonderful as it always has been.
Lovely wines and food. I really enjoyed the black bean soup and fish tacos.
First time to visit this restaurant. Waitress attentive at first, but we had to ask for all our needs, like wine refills, missing dressing on salads, sauce for entrees. Room was rather loud from laughter at tables. (Can’t help that) . We had the sea bass and seafood pasta. Both quite good. First time for both to have these. Arrived to table barely warm but still ok. This was a Tuesday and a 6 pm dinner. Not crowded to overwhelm the kitchen or waitress. Overall, it was just ok but a bit expensive. Think they could tweak the attention paid to the tables in a more formal manner for the prices they charge for the wine, liquor & food. I would recommend the restaurant for a go to at least once just to try type .
The atmosphere and food were fantastic and the service was exceptional.
My husband and I had the Mahi Mahi. Outstanding!! A great meal.
Loved the food and ambiance of the place. Kitchen closes at 9, but our reservations were at 8:30, we felt rushed to order everything. How ever, service and food was still excellent!
A superb meal in a nice setting
Would love to return sometime
We love this restaurant and its people. The food and service are always wonderful and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. It is hard to veer from the favorites - sea bass, black bean soup, pot stickers - but the specials are always excellent as well. So glad to see them back open and hope to have many, many more wonderful meals at Tsunami!
The food was wonderful as always!
After months of staying home, we were so happy to finally be vaccinated and able to enjoy a social evening and finer dining. Our meal was delicious -- calamari, pasta, shrimp and a fresh salad with goat cheese ! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Have missed Chef Ben and all others and so glad to be coming back. Thank you for your excellence!
Tsunami was awesome as always. Food was delicious and service was impeccable.
Very good drinks and delicious food. I had the blackened shrimp pasta. It was great. My husband had the small plate salmon. Also very good.
