Llegamos mi esposa y yo para celebrar nuestro aniversario 20 de bodas a las 6:30; desconozco quién era la hostess que atendía en ese momento pues no se presentó. La jovencita hizo su trabajo pero le falta calidez y amabilidad; me da la impresión que está consciente que labora para un lugar muy selecto y pues se siente igual: nos pasó al tseen ja (pues hay varios restaurantes en el complejo) y la hostess del Tseen ja, también igual en su celular, chateando en su cosa pero como robot que sabe que, como y cuando preguntar qué pero ni te mira; o sea ambas en una actitud como si no merecieras estar ahí o como si no te merecieras su trato… Paréntesis : un día antes comimos mi esposa y yo en Boccanera, en la Veleta en Tulum y digo, es un lugar casi para foráneos o extranjeros, operado y propiedad de un italiano, pero el gerente Corrado, súper atento y amigable…una semana antes estuvimos en el gin gin en La codesa en CDMX y bueno el gerente de ahí también súper pendiente… Aquí en Tseen Ja no vimos ni un encargado; que padre que confíen tanto en sus hostess; pero es una postura muy elemental y casi pueril no tener quien cuide el desempeño de las jovencitas quienes además les falta cultura de servicio…ojo no me refiero a todas las hostess del Lugar solo a estas 2 niñas que nos atendieron….a partir de las 6:30….chequen cámaras (tienen muchas) para que vean quienes son muy primarias en servicio dl cliente…

The food and ambience was really good. We enjoyed our meal. The waiter we had was very attentive and did give us great recommendations for dinner. Music was good although a bit loud for a restaurant. I get if it was like a day club but it was more of an intimate and trendy place. Music choice was good though. I would go again honestly. Two reasons the rating isn’t 5 stars is for one when we walked in, the hostess at the very front seemed kinda hesitant to seat us for some reason. I got like weird slightly snobby vibes from her. She was nice but as anyone going to a really nice place which is worth the meal and drink price, member service should be more emphasized but that’s just me. We didn’t say anything and just followed her in. The second is that they don’t advertise that if you want to sit up at the nests you have to pay $300 which is a bit much. I’ve paid entrances before and table services in the past. The place is awesome but $300 is steep for what you’re getting. Again, just my experience. I still recommend this place but a heads up if you are considering the nest table outside.

Compleltey empty and rude staff. Not one SINGLE person entered the restaurant in our two hours there and the sushi rolls were all rice. They told us it was $6000 MXN to sit in the advertised “birds nest” so we wound up sitting on the floor. Also insanely expensive

White Lotus vibe! The coolest dining experience with equally amazing cocktails, sushi and wagyu. And the Shaman bringing us Pachamama energy was the perfect ending - we felt blessed and honored. Some may find it gimmicky, but we didn’t care. The chunk of change was worth it. The world needs more Tulúm and more Tseen Ja❤️

We went to this incredible spot in Tulum to celebrate my sister’s 40th birthday, and it was pure magic. It was me, my sister, and my best friend and we had an absolute blast from the moment we arrived. The whole experience felt like stepping into another world. Walking up into the treehouse, crossing bridges and winding through wooden walkways the venue was like a jungle dream. Pro tip: wear comfy shoes! I wore flats (smart move), my sister wore wedges (also worked), but my best friend wore heels and kept getting stuck between the planks… lesson learned! From the start, it was spiritual and beautiful. We were saged upon arrival, and a shaman welcomed us with a heartfelt prayer. He even led us outside for a special birthday ritual just for my sister which was truly unforgettable! And the food? Next level. Every bite was delicious, and the vibe was unreal… so unique, so soulful. If you’re heading to Tulum and want something authentic yet chic, this place is an absolute must. Hands down the best dining experience in the city.

Really disappointed if I’m being honest - came to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and the service was just really bad overall. Staff was really unfriendly and unhelpful. Wish I had better things to say about this place
