If you're looking for a place to enjoy authentic Turkish food in an upscale and beautifully decorated setting, come to Truva and we'll show you a good time.
Great food. Will be returning soon!
We found Truva on Open Door looking for great Mediterranean food. High praise for fantastic food… can’t encourage you enough to try it.
Great food! Great drinks! Everyone was super nice. Service a little slow but overall really enjoyed.
Loved the zucchini pancake and the roasted cauliflower. Shrimp kabob tasty. Mixed grill for two more than fed three! Lovely outdoor porch. Good value.
Great date spot! Authentic food and decent prices for the area.
Very fresh food. The shrimp kabob was outstanding!
Incredible food and great service. Amazing atmosphere
Delicious meal. Great suggestions by waitstaff. Maxine was delightful and attentive. Presentation was pretty. We’ll be back.
Came for a birthday lunch with my mom and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was pleasant. We started with the grape leaves and falafel which were both amazing. Our main courses came out fast and was also flavorful. The restaurant was nicely decorated and would be a great environment for a date or gathering. I will be returning!
Went with a friend and the food was great. Plenty of vegetarian and some vegan options for her, along with non-vegetarian options for me.
First we were brought a little bucket of bread with a oil and fresh crushed red pepper mixture. It was quite yummy.
She had a Turkish Cosmo and I had a Momberry #5 off the cocktail menu and both were delish.
For food, she got the falafel, asparagus, and cilantro garlic fries. The tagine comes mixed with yogurt, but they were able to get her some without yogurt. The fries had parmesan sprinkled on top, which wasn't listed on the menu, but the server was able to get new fries without pretty quickly.
I had the Truva Dumplings and the Spinach Torator. The spinach goes great on the bread they bring to the table. Both were amazing.
Server was great, polite, and the water glasses never got empty.
Wonderful dining experience
We were here again for my boyfriends birthday and everything was great! We love the food here!
Everything was wonderful! We all loved it!
The waiter was superb! He did not crowd us during our meal, and let us eat at a leisurely pace. For dessert, I couldn’t think of the name of the pastry I had when we were in Istanbul. I described it and he knew exactly what I was talking about.
This place was so good! The staff were so nice and accommodating and the food was amazing.
Sel cited this restaurant at random to meet friends from out of town. A beautiful and quiet place to have a delicious meal. The wait staff is excellent and had grea suggestions. It’s a wonderful place to sample Turkish-Mediterrean food
The food was delicious. Carrie, our server was very attentive and helpful. Katie, the hostess was wonderful. This was our first visit and we definitely will be back.
The food was excellent. I had one of the better grilled salmon dishes I've ever had, and my wife had a tasty lamb kebab. There seemed to be a lot of people of Turkish descent in the restaurant, which reassured us that we were getting the real thing. They had some service issues on the busy Saturday night we were there, but that's true of just about any restaurant right now. They really hustled and tried to keep up. We'll go back. Truva is a great addition to the neighborhood.
No one was there and service was still really slow. Food was okay but seemed overpriced. Atmosphere was lack luster.
The restaurant was beautifully done but the food was hit and miss. My salmon was good but my boyfriend’s kabob was sad. You can get a better shrimp kabob plate at zoes kitchen for half the price. The server was nice but didn’t seem to know much about the food. Unfortunately we will not be back.
It was my birthday and Truva did amazing. Everyone enjoyed the food and the drinks. We were the last ones in the restaurant and they even played the happy birthday song! Lol. It was perfect. Our waiter Roland - super great.
Wonderful food and excelent service. Maybe a little bit pricy.
We really enjoyed Truva. The bronzini was excellent, as was the salmon and trout. We were surprised at the quality of the child cheeseburger. It was very good as well.
First time visiting Truva on father’s day. Very light crowd to my surprise. However, as few people were there the service we received was very bad. There was no crowd yet everything came out so slow, food was no longer warm when receiving. Sort of tasted as though it’s sat out for a long time. Manager asked if we wanted the food heated, but the quality of the food wasn’t even worth to have it warmed. The food was not properly seasoned which is a surprise because middle eastern food is usually full of flavor. Overall below average experience.
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant where we have never been disappointed! Food was delicious, and service was excellent.
Great place and location! Had a fantastic birthday here :)
The food is excellent. Service professional and quiet atmosphere
One of my new favorite spots. The owner is gracious and the food and drinks are ON POINT!!!
This was our first time in and we were very impressed! Everything was so fresh and the flavors were balanced perfectly. We will be back soon!
The food was quite good. Our server was friendly, but played upon one of my pet peeves. When I ask someone what their favorite items are on the menu and they tell me what the most popular items on the menu are… That sounds to me like they just don’t eat there or don’t like any of the food.
Food was great and great atmosphere inside too. Good mix of meal options, and our food tasted amazing. Unfortunately, our server wasn’t the best and was very slow to return to our table. I would return.
Unfortunately, I have to say that we are very disappointed at our most recent visit. We have been to the restaurant a few times since they opened and enjoyed it and we even introduced the restaurant to some friends. On 5/29/21, when we arrived at Truva, they told us there was no outside seating available even though we had specifically requested and confirmed that at the time of a reservation about three weeks ago and there were obviously some tables without any guests in their patio. After we pointed it out, they reluctantly arranged a table. Our dishes were okay but this recent experience definitely keeps us from going back again...
Food was fresh and authentic. Hubby loved it and we will definitely be back again when in town.
Only complaint was that service was a bit slow. Food was fantastic. As far as noise level we ate on the patio and was quiet.
Great, fresh food! Service was fast and courteous. Highly suggest sitting on the patio in summer...it's shaded and has fans that keep it cool.
Delicious and authentic food in a beautiful restaurant. We enjoyed.
Our server Jefe was awesome. Everything we had from our drinks to dessert were excellent. Will be back soon.
good turkish food options - drinks were ok. service was excellent
Dinner after the “Supernatural” exhibit at the ATL Botanical Gardens, our Uber driver was a little late so we called to alert; no problem! They adjusted our time and we maintained our outdoor seating request, arriving at 7:45 pm. They were busy but not crowded. Within 15 minutes every table was full. We shared the beets and burratta meze which everyone loved, even my friend who had never eaten beets. Two of us shared the octopus hot meze which one of us had never had octopus. I’d say it was cooked to perfection but we didn’t feel strongly about it one way or the other flavor wise. For entrees, one had the quinoa bowl, she’s a very light eater and this time, the plate was clean. “Mikey liked it!” Two of us had the vegetarian mousses and it was very good; we both took some leftovers home. Service was a little slaw sometimes but our friendly waitress was very accommodating and proactively apologized, acknowledging they are still short staffed as they recover from COVID issues. Unique and fun cocktails if you like changing things up. This was my second time at Truva, first for lunch and this visit was dinner. Nice outdoor seating area. We were tucked in a corner, table for 4 and it was perfect for me as I have hearing issues and I was able to sit with my back to the wall which helps lower the ambient noise. I’ll go back when in the area.
There were minor hiccups which made this an OK but not great experience. When we arrived, we waited about 7-8 minutes for anyone to greet us, and then the manager couldn't find our reservation (I showed him the confirmation on my phone). Then no waiter was assigned to our table for 15 minutes. The outdoor light over our table flickered.
The food is fine, but extremely pricey for what you get. Honestly, I'd be just as happy with the kebabs at Mediterranean Grill for 1/3 the price.
