Truva - Downtown
Food was excellent, so was the service. Loved the layout of the dining area.
Great food! The place was rightfully packed but waiters managed large and small parties very well . Will be back for sure !
Food is always amazing at Truva. The ambiance is perfect for a good dinner. One of my favorite places in town.
We visit Truva every time we are in Atlanta. Authentic, delicious food and great service. Highly recommend!
I eat here every year when I go to DragonCon. so this would be my fourth year in a row eating at Truva. I would say the food is excellent and the service is very good however... probably because they were anticipating being busy they dded more tables but put them in places which left people sitting at them isolated from the rest of the restaurant and kind of awkward to be sitting their eating while having people waiting for a table to be staring right at you, plus it was in the way of the waitstaff going back and forth from the kitchens. I enjoyed the food but did not enjoy the experience this time round. Additionally part of the reason we went there was it was always fun to see the belly-dancers interacting with customers and getting them up to dance, but sadly no belly-dancing this year. Don't know if they simply stopped doing it or just couldn't due to the extra tables and crowded conditions. i would recommend it for good but pricey food but its ambiance has suffered somewhat.
Love this restaurant. Food is great and staff is very attentive.
Great food and ambience. Ppl are friendly too. I would definitely come back
authentic food. gracious service. Sorry that there was no floor show on Wednesday night
Awesome food and service, reasonable price, quite 100% recommended
Bummer there wasn't a belt dancer on this day, but the birthday boy was still happy!
We were in Atlanta for a brief family escape. I chose this restaurant because of the type of cuisine and it’s proximity to our hotel. We were impressed by the food, the service and the overall experience of our evening. The server immediately identified the vegetarians in our group and guided our menu selections. My husband really enjoyed the lamb kebab and my daughter and I savored the vegetable centered dishes. The Turkish music and the deep colors of the dining room decor set the stage for a lovely dinner experience.
First time visiting and dining at Truva and it was altogether wonderful!
Great food and ambiance will return
We missed the dancer tonight but as usual the food, ambience and service was outstanding!
So good - fun atmosphere and excellent food/service.
This was our first time dining here and we had a wonderful experience. The belly dancer was quite entertaining and gave the place a good vibe. The food was truly awesome, wonderful flavors and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. We def recommend trying this place out...enjoy!!!
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere , was good and fast service .
Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. I love coming here and getting the Mixed Grill. Absolutely delicious.
We were celebrating a friend’s birthday, promotion, and teacher of the year award. Great food, even better service!
This is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Both the downtown and highland locations are fantastic. Never disappoint.....always satisfying.
Great place for celebration or business lunch. Services is great.
Met up with visiting friend from out of town at Truva and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and service was excellent and friendly. Terrific experience.
Good middle Eastern restaurant. The plates were delicious. The service was decent. At the time we went (about 5 PM) there were not many people so the place was quiet and did not see any show (belly dancer was mentioned in the website). I would go back there.
Everything was perfect (food, service, etc, etc) until we got back to the parking lot. Our car was broken into , which really put all of us girls in such a horrible mood. To think that you’re being watched and some unscrupulous person is waiting for you to turn your back and have dinner before violating you is extremely uncomfortable. I think we will be taking a break from downtown Atlanta.
Authentic Turkish restaurant with excellent food and service. Knowledgeable staff takes the time to explain dishes and answer questions. Nice atmosphere.
My meal was fine but not amazing. I believe that my companions felt the same.
Nice variety of Middle Eastern food. Second time I have been there and always happy with the food
Nearly the only guests but fair pricing, nice service and good food. Come again.
Great waiter and the food was delicious. Loved the lentil soup, falafel, and hummus.
In Atlanta for a convention.
Tasty food and friendly service.i especially liked how kind the staff was to my kids.
Delish! We had the Mixed Grill for 4 — an array of kebabs. The dips and sauces were divine. A terrific place for groups (we had 8). Will definitely return!
Just wish we had known the belly dancers wouldn't be performing.
I went with my husband and our 2 teen kids and had a blast. The service was upscale. Great food too. We had just come off a 9 hour flight from Germany and this place made the ending to a long day so wonderful.
Truva is a fabulous lunch time find in the ATL. Service is excellent. My server remembered all of the ways I like my lunch. Kudos to the restaurant and the wonderful, attentive staff.
I will be making a returned trip for lunch.
We love this place and took this opportunity to bring my parents and introduce them to Turkish food. It was a huge hit. We’ll be back next time we’re in Atlanta.
Excellent food! Very excited to find this gem near the Hyatt.
The fact the restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night at 7:30 should have been the first clue. Six of us were dining to celebrate my sons college graduation and thought some different food and belly dancers would be a change of pace. Turns out they did not have belly dancers on Friday nights although they promote belly dancers. One of the appetizers we ordered was the lamb flat flatbread. It was so void of lamb and flavor none of us would eat it. The only response from the waiter, after we commented about it, was "its our best flat bread". No apology, no can we get you something else, no we will take it off the bill. We all felt as though they know its lousy and don't care, but they did want to make sure we knew the other choices were worse. Let's just say the rest of the dinner was not much better. With wine the bill was over $300.00. All six of us thought we would have been better off at 5 Guys!
Hummus was fantastic - the pita to go with it (ie bread for the table) was very good. Had the doner for entree - salad was great, doner seemed a touch salty, it was covering a mound of rice pilaf which (due to holding in the heat) was a touch mushy. Still, overall one of the best Turkish restaurants I’ve eaten at.
