Service was awesome, food was great. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that I specifically requested a window seat. Instead, we were seated on a couch, which was very uncomfortable, particularly for one of our guests who recently had a surgical procedure. We also had a shorter person with us who needed to sit on a pillow. Maybe it's just me, but sitting on a public couch to each dinner was off-putting and a little gross.

the food was not good - other than the prelim rib. service was good and atmosphere good but nothing special. it is definitely overpriced for the quality. we do not plan to return.

First time at Trummers. Just lovely. Polite, attentive servers, delicious fresh food, interesting, unexpected bursts of flavor, just a delight. So nice to have discovered this beautiful tucked-away treasure.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, the food was good and the ambiance was relaxing. I would have given the visit a 5 star review if our dessert hadn’t taken 30 minutes to arrive. I am not sure why it took so long (all the rest of the meal arrived quickly), but in doing so it lowered our overall enjoyment of the visit.

The service was top class - friendly, thorough and fast. We were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us complimentary fizz upon arrival as well as a complimentary dessert. We had the bread rolls with lemon butter and bone marrow to start. The special was prime rib with roast potatoes which we both ordered. It was cooked to perfection. Delicious. The restaurant itself is upstairs in the building and is spacious, well ventilated and has some simple but attractive decor. Highly recommend

Trummers notified us at about noon, that the outdoor seating would not be available since high winds were expected late in the afternoon.They said we would be seated inside and that was perfect, since wind and rain started as we were shown to our table inside. Very thoughtful of management to let us know in advance

Trummer's menu is small but high quality. We had rockfish and halibut. Both were tasty, attractively constructed and presented, and served hot. The burrata appetizer was creatively prepared and just the right size. The cucumber gazpacho was flavorful and the perfect summer starter. Likewise, the strawberries and creme beignets will hopefully stay on the menu all summer - fabulous. From the host greeting and seating to our attentive waiter, the service was equal to the delicious meal. We love Trummer's and will certainly be back in the not distant future.
