I started with the Titanic. I wish I could have had more than 1! I had the chicken. Everything on my plate was delicious. My friend started with the gazpacho which she said was one of the best she’s ever had. Her main course was the risotto. She all but licked her plate! We both look forward to going back!

Really good food with quite a bit of variety. Informed and attentive server. Beautiful ambiance. Loved the outdoor seating. The historical building is stunning with so much (free) parking. This was our first restaurant dining experience since the pandemic, and we were celebrating our 15 year anniversary. It was the perfect place to be since being home for a year and half with our kids. Kids are welcome, however, and I was glad to see a changing table in the (women’s) restroom. Overall, a fantastic and relaxing experience for us. I can’t wait to be back!

The ambiance was amazing, a beautiful property and nice setting. The meal and service quality does not match the price. Scallops and Farro were wonderful once I got to the cherry agrodolce. However, the temperature and texture balance was off. Whipped Lardo lacked flavor and the focaccia texture was almost stale. Service was slow with a very long wait in between appetizer and meal, which lead me to wonder if my farro was cold on purpose or because I waited so long. The Main Street cocktail was pretty, a little too sweet for my taste, but an interesting refreshing drink with a strong cinnamon flavor.

This was our first time at a restaurant in over a year. We decided our first visit to a restaurant once we were fully vaccinated would be Trummers. We got an outdoor table just to be extra safe. It was amazing, as always. The Titanic was just as good as I remembered. Attentive staff, delicious food. We did notice that there weren’t any little extra freebies like bread or chocolates with the check like there used to be - but we assume COVID probably hit their profits hard, so very understandable. Hopefully they will bounce back this year and then maybe those extras will too. We’ll do our best to help out - I’m always planning to return with friends. There are new drinks I didn’t get to try :)

Justin was our waiter and he was absolutely wonderful! Very sweet and attentive. Thank you for such a wonderful experience again! The only thing we would suggest is to bring back the habanero pain and pleasure drink :) otherwise everything is perfect and delicious.

They were so nice to accommodate us outside. Our server had great recommendations and was personable. The food was great but the strawberry gazpacho was top notch. Short ribs were tender and delicious. The sauce on the pork was really flavorful but the pork itself was not particularly tender. Overall a wonderful dining experience.

The newly remodeled dining area was spacious with nice detail and plenty of outdoor seating. The staff was conscientious and professional our waiter being from Austria as are the owners. The food was remarkable. This was our second visit celebrating our Anniversary which they remembered and gave us complimentary drinks and desert. The cost is reasonable so we are going to make it our favorite go to restaurant.

For the price I would rank it average! Our food arrived exactly 42 minutes after we ordered!!! The Rock Fish was good but the Sautéed vegetables side order was not chewable!!! While waiting at the bar downstairs for our table to be ready, the high table was a Rocking table and very unstable! You would think during this slow months it would be fixed! My wife loves this place but, she even noticed something is off this time (no bread and butter)! The baby spearguns starter was a Meh at best! The Cappuccino and desert was really good. Our meal cost near $215 for two ( including one beer and a glass of wine and tips) and For that price we can find better experience elsewhere.

It took over one hour after ordering for the food to arrive. (1 hour and 7 minutes to be exact)
The reason given was "We have a party upstairs"
It could have been mentioned when we arrived that there would be a delay in which case we would have ordered a bottle of wine instead of just a glass.

The food was very good.

My first time dining in-person since the start of the pandemic! We opted for outdoor dining and the patio space was lovely, very cozy and laid back, and the tables were well spaced so it still felt intimate. The service was as good as ever, our server was incredibly friendly and helpful. And the food was as good as I remember, having not dined there since they overhauled the restaurant. I tried the rotisserie chicken and it was fantastic, perfect for a warm summer evening.

I was disappointed with our 1st experience at Trummers. The menu was limited, the ambiance at the dining area assigned to us was lackluster, the entrees were not exceptional. I expected more.

Celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and Trummer’s provided extraordinary service as usual. Complimentary champagne provided. Lovely spacious table area. Delicious food - loved the short ribs. Even my 7 year old daughter felt special. Such a gem of a restaurant — we love Trummer’s and will continue to visit for a great night out!

Seated promptly. Waiter came out immediately and asked if we had been there before. Said they had a new chef and went over drink and dinner menu. Checked with chef regarding an allergy. Drinks, appetizers and food all came out quick and food was hot and delicious
It was our anniversary and we were given champagne to toast and had happy anniversary spelled out on a plate with dessert
It was a great experience and would definitely come back

Beautiful restaurant. You can't go wrong whether you sit in the enormous light filled main room, on the covered deck, or in the cozy parts of the original building. Delicious and inventive menu. It's expensive, but worth it. The servers were professional, except we had to wait long periods of time when the server seemed to have disappeared. I guess he had parties in another room. Took us about 3 hours to complete the 3-course meal, but it was Mother's Day, a special occasion so we didn't mind. This is definitely one of my favorite special occasion restaurants, and I almost forgot to mention the drive once you get within a few miles of the restaurant is scenic and feels like your out in the country, yet just a short hop from Fairfax!

We were so pleased with our Friday night at Trummers. They have really changed their menu and although it still includes some unusual and fun ingredients they’re known for, it is much more affordable and kid friendly. We loved that you can grab happy hour upstairs too before 6! $8 Titanic on a Friday night? Winning!

Waited for our table. Went to bar to get drinks. Hostess was upset that we ordered bar drinks and gave our table to another couple. We were put in a small table in a corner even though I requested the other section. Waitress took too long to take our order. Took 25 minutes for the appetizer. Waitress took another 20 minutes to take our order and ask if we wanted drink refills. Did ask us how we wanted our steak cooked. I had to keep looking for her for service. Another waitress came and we ended up having 2 servers who were not communicating with each other. My wife and I both had stomach issues that lasted 2 days. We will never return and have told numerous people NOT to dine at this restaurant. Not even worth a 1 star rating.

We had a wonderful time at Trummer's. This was our first date post vaccine and we were excited about going to Trummer's. The specialty cocktails were a great start to the night, the Ramp Toast and greens were great as starters, and the strip loin and risotto were both outstanding entrees. We finished our evening with the milk chocolate cinnamon dessert and cappuccinos. We ate on the deck and even though it had been raining, it was a very pleasant experience and the space heaters helped us stay comfortable. We can't wait to go back!

Our experience was nothing like we had read in the reviews. At an 8 o'clock seating we were told they sold out of short rib an hour ago (weird kitchen planning for a Saturday), the very item we were looking forward to. The replacement option of steak was disappointing; way over salted served on sickly sweet polenta with sweet onions and wet ramp. My pork loin was undercooked, tough, served again with wet and diluted veggies which a blanket of brown and musty color making the dish very unappetizing.
Appetizers were commendable but the fois gras served refrigerator cold and a very simple (but fresh) asparagus dish for $15.
Service by Marko was fantastic.
Interior resembles a community food kitchen or the lobby of a Courtyard Marriott where the breakfast buffet is served.

I frequent Trummers often, so most likely you have seen my other reviews. As always, 5 stars across the board! To start, quaint location in Clifton. So much nicer than our suburban strip mall scene we are accustomed to. The restaurant is really beautiful, the host staff is extremely welcoming, the servers are cordial, knowledgeable and charismatic, and the food is unique and delicious. They use only the freshest ingredients, so there is always a great variety. The bartender, Mike is a true mixologist, creating amazing well balanced and unique cocktails. If you haven’t taken my advice with the last 20 reviews I’ve written, take it now! Book your reservation (they fill up quickly) and give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Trummer's has become our go-to restaurant for a high-end meal. We have literally never been disappointed. The service is excellent. The food is INCREDIBLE. The menu is relatively short and changes with the seasons, which means that the food is fresh and perfectly prepared. We discovered Trummer's during covid, and we so happy to find such a good restaurant with a large outdoor dining space. They even have heaters. The food isn't cheap, but it's not the place to go for a burger. Worth every penny.
