Food was amazing. Service was great. Location is awesome. Only complaint was the music. WAY too loud. Really great experience over all and we will definitely be back.

I've been to the Truman several times and it is always good. The food is great, the drinks are tasty, and the service is fast and friendly. Last weekend we had a party of 7 and were seated very easily (I had a reservation but didn't need it). The food was delicious, the drinks were awesome (I'd recommend a "cougar in the backseat"), and our server was friendly and efficient even though she was the only server we saw. The only downside is that the music was a little loud, but we could hear each other if we spoke a little louder. Then the NBA Finals came on, and the volume was turned up. It was not even turned down for commercials and was very distracting. We could only hear the person next to us at the table, so I asked the waitress if they could turn it down and she said she'd already been asked to, but the manager wanted it that way. The people at the bar were watching to the game, but no one at any of the dining tables were. We ending up going to another bar instead of having a third round there. But that has been my only bad experience there and everything else was good, so we will definitely be back and I highly recommend it!

Came back after enjoying graduation lunch so much. Still great food. Service a little slow, but that's not a bad thing when you're hanging out with friends.

Service was slow (But courteous). It was a holiday weekend. Party of 7. They turned down the music when we asked. Food was good but they messed up one order. May go back for a burger.

Our Mother's Day brunch was a HUGE disappointment! Despite a prior reservation, we left after waiting for our food after 1hr and 20 min. When we asked if it would be coming soon, we were told no... so who knows when,if ever, it would have come. With our two children hoping to celebrate the holiday, we left almost in tears! I wish they would have told us 30 minutes into our wait that we should celebrate elsewhere.

1 hour and 1 minute until the food hit our table after ordering at noon on Saturday for lunch. Hugely disappointing. When the food finally got there , it wasn't good. Staff was trying to work hard, but the kitchen was a disaster. Big bummer.

Took 90 minutes to get our food and it wasn't cooked properly. During that time we saw our server 3 times. Very disappointing experience.

Great food, very poor service. Family enjoyed our meal once we received it. The manager had to prompt the kitchen for our meal.

The service was awesome. Khadijah (sorry if I misspelled that) was our server. She was professional, attentive, and articulate. My husband had steak, my mother in law had the salad with the lump crab and they really enjoyed their food. My daughter and I had the crab-cakes and unfortunately there was way too much "cake" and barely any "crab meat". They were nice and took it off the bill because I didn't eat it. I would visit again. I just won't order the crab cakes.
