the food is top-notch, the service is great and the atmosphere is just great, I will definitely come back here
We love coming to this particular Truluck’s! Their service is second to none. From the time you get out of your car, to leaving.
Bartender was awesome, wait staff also. Ordered the calamari which was different, interesting and tasty. Ordered a wedge which was disappointing. Blue cheese dressing was terrible and I love blue cheese. bone in Filet was great. overall very good and would go back. wouldn't get the wedge though..
Food was amazing! Love the environment and Pamela was our waitress, super friendly and helpful.
Everything was fantastic, except that one of the meals was very small for the price. The manager comped the dish and offered us desserts on the house. Very good customer service! Food was delicious!
Truluck’s commitment to customer-satisfaction shows through their management and employee caliber. George and his staff go out of their way to cater and to facilitate their customers with every need.
Thank you for creating such an inviting ambiance.

Absolutely the best food and service, made my wife's birthday special, I'm so impressed by the wait staff as they were fantastic
Victoria knew the menu well and made excellent recommendations. Nice variety of food selections. Timely service yet not rushed.
Unfortunately the food was not as good as I hoped. For a $50 steak to come out cold was not great service for the price
Best salmon I ever had. The sushi app was fantastic as well. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Very nice place.
Best restaurant north of Chicago. The service is impeccable, the food is fantastic and it's a fun place to eat.
Great place for a special occasion. We would definitely return.
We shared a fabulous meal with outstanding service from start to finish! From cocktails to appetizers to entrees everything was outstanding and all 9 of us left dining the praises of this establishment! The only thing we did not try was dessert and that was because no one had room for it! I plan to back just for dessert
Outstanding service all around starting with complimentary valet. Food was excellent but didn’t care for the clam chowder. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Pricey but we enjoyed the experience and we will go back again.
Great food, awesome service and attention to details...
Highly recommend you make the effort to try them...
Had a great time. Piano player was outstanding. Always enjoy Trulucks
excellent seafood and service. All of the sea food was fresh and tasted great. Staff was very helpful in selecting a wine for dinner. Wait staff was very good. Highly recommend.
Outstanding service and meal. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and service. We were not rushed despite it being a busy Saturday night. Menu is on the pricey side but the valet is complementary (:
Excellent customer service, the food was prepared perfectly...amazing flavor!!
Great service and great food. Expensive but nice for special occasions
Took my wife here for what we thought would be a nice dinner. Seems similar to a Gibson’s, Ruth’s Chris, etc but looks can be deceiving. We order wine it was ok. They brought out some bread and it was incredible buttery/salty/ greedy. I took one bite and stopped. App came, shrimp cocktail was ok nothing special. Main dish and sides came red snapper , broccoli, and mashed potatoes. One bite of red snapper we both look at each other and say the same thing WOW this is dry! Not slightly dry VERY dry. Ok try some broccoli and I felt like I had just inhaled ocean water it was so salty and dry. We ended up dunking the broccoli in our water to get the salt/nasty seasoning off. I never even touched the mashed potatoes cause my taste buds had been destroyed.
Waiter, and all staff were very nice about the situation and didn’t charge us anything for the “meal”.
I wouldn’t be able to ever recommend trulucks when there are so many other great restaurants around the area. I mean in all honesty Culver’s cooks their fish better .
We had dinner to celebrate my mothers birthday, from the time that we got there the service was impeccable. We ordered wine, half of the appetizers on the menu, our main courses everything came out made to perfection. Our waiter I apologize I forgot his name but he was extremely attentive this was probably the best dinner I’ve had in the Chicagoland area in a very long time that started and ended great.
A good, not great experience. Some nice touches, but overall quality of food is below other similarly priced restaurants. Main dining room music far above background noise- asked for it to be turned down but didn’t notice a change.
Excellent choice of seafood and I recommend the crab cocktail, it is a treat when it arrives at the table chilled on dry ice. The seafood is good and the steak Oscar is also very good. The service is excellent, they have a great selection of wine and the entertainment in the bar area creates fantastic ambiance. This is a great restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, date night, or a business dinner.
It was my birthday dinner.
Things started great. The waitress was wonderful.
Pacing was good. Food was good. My husband even commented it was the best meal he’d had in years.
He had the tuna and I had the crab claws. Salads and sides, Brussels sprouts and spinach great.
Then a table of 12 was seated and we were all but forgotten. The wine was not poured, we did that , no big deal. Took a very long time to get our food wrapped. The portions were generous.
Took longer to see dessert. Longer to get the bill.
It would have been a perfect evening but was tainted by the end.
Not blaming the waitress, she seemed to have to do it all even though there seemed to be plenty of back waiters and bus people.
Unfortunately for the price of our meal I’m not sure we will be back. We really left feeling like an afterthought.
The restaurant was less than half full and we were still neglected in the end. I think management needs to address the staffing.
I was at the Truluck's in Austin Texas so decided to try this one in Rosemont.
Service was spectacular. Food was spectacular and perfectly cooked.
There was live music which made the evening perfect.
We started with stone crab claws which were outstanding.
Had a hothouse tomato salad which we shared and was also outstanding
For entrees we had scallops and salmon. Perfectly prepared.
Added a couple of cocktails and too full for dessert.
Perfect evening, can't wait to go back.
One special note: the restaurant called me the next day to ask how everything went.
That's the 1st time a restaurant ever did that for me. Pretty impressive!
Marvelous food, staff, and experience. You know what you’re getting into with the prices. It simply was one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. Nothing disappointed.
We dined at the downtown location and it was amazing. Not so much at the Rosemont one. About half the table loved their dishes, the other half not as much. My son's steak (bone-in rib eye) was "funny" tasting. I had him add salt and it was better, but not good/great. I shared the fish special with my daughter and it was bland on the outside and pure tarragon in the middle. Others at the table really enjoyed their meal. I had sent my butter Manhattan back and because of that, felt like a complainer, so we did not say anything. I suspect they would have made things right had I said something. Worse, I did get a call from the restaurant the next day checking on things and just never had the time to call back. I think Trulucks is a great place and will probably try again.
As always, Truluck's was outstanding! We enjoyed our celebration with great food, great drinks, and excellent dessert! The service is always perfect and we walked away hoping we'll be back soon!
Food was terrific, service was excellent and Romi, our waiter, made the evening all the better.
Service, from the valet parking to our server, was terrific. The food was truly exceptional and the dinner was made more special by some very very good live music. Great surprise and excellent dinner!
The service was espectacular. They went above and beyond any expectations.
Celebrated 3 Birthdays, our first time visiting Truluck’s!
Food was absolutely delicious! Our server Victoria was amazingly attentive to our table. Atmosphere very comfortable. Our experience was truly amazing and we will be back!
Beautiful space with a huge bar area and live music (the entertainer on our night was really good - both piano and singing). Location is odd - west of the tollway in the O'Hare/Rosemont entertainment area. We almost turned onto the tollway entrance! Bar started off nicely but a few mishaps with computers down and drinks removed before finished (but resolved by manager with complimentary drink). Craft cocktails were on the overly sweet side and weak. Shaking drinks with tiny ice cubes waters down a cocktail. Tuna tartare is very good on top of avocado seaweed and forbidden black rice. Customer service could be improved at bar. Table was great and so was our waiter. You can choose from lemon, lime, orange, cucumber (and maybe more) to put in your water. The dining room is exquisite with gorgeous chandeliers and floor to ceiling windows with flowing curtains - it's a great look. The summer menu is a good value with choice of several soups and salads. Caesar salad came with high end white anchovies. The scallops on a bed of zucchini noodles was outstanding as was the whole red snapper. Arctic char is wonderful fish but this one was overcooked and dry. Skip the lobster mashed potatoes - expensive for saucy lobster bits on top of tepid potatoes. The perch entree was over fried and difficult to find the fish. Some of the dishes were unexpectedly sweet. Desserts were very nice - strawberry shortbread was enormous and lots of cream. Baked alaska was a standout with a flamed presentation. Most dishes are on the pricey side so be sure you know what you are ordering. Go for the ambiance and table service.
The best restaurant for fresh seafood and excellent service in the Chicagoland area. We celebrated a birthday and were treated like the only customers in the restaurant. The tuna tartare tower was so fresh and flavourful. The lobster bisque was to die for with the horseradish and goat cheese. We split a wedge salad, lovely bleau cheese not a mayo-ee dressing. The red snapper was a special treat along with the salmon bernaise. The cocktail menu rocked with a nice amount of cocktails for a reasonable price plus very creative. The baked alaska was the best dessert for our birthday celebration and it was Truluck's treat. Our server Pam was outstanding, informative, friendly and funny.
The food is only okay.... very expensive and not the best tasting. I would not recommend for the food but for the service and the ambiance I would recommend
Very good. Definitely holds its own with other high end dining experiences
Wonderful ceviche. Good selection of fresh fish, crab and lobster dishes. Well worth the money.
