Ray was our waiter and he took very good care of us. The caesar salad was delicious. The ceviche was pretty good, the creamy sauce was a pleasant surprise. I did surf and turf. I thought the steak was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor. I'm not sure if I've ever had south African lobster, it's not the sweet tender Maine lobster I prefer. The brussel sprouts were amazing as was the cauliflower.

We decided to try this place for our Valentine’s Day, everything was amazing!
We started our dinner with just 2 crab claws, precracked and pretty easy to eat. The specialty mustard is really good but a little bit goes a long way before it overpowers the crabmeat. The Calamari was amazing with the Asian inspired sauces. Might be the best I’ve ever had. We ordered the striped bass and miso glazed bass. Both were excellent. Finished with baked Alaska. Fun and not heavy dessert. All portions were perfectly sized.
This restaurant is on the high end of our budget but next time we have a special occasion and want seafood we will be back here.

The ambiance is very tranquil listening with the pianist with love songs, foods are really great,
the steak was really delicious, the salmon is very tasty. Everything we ordered are all fabulous,
though the price is a little bit more expensive, we are satisfied. It was a great family night out.

The crab cake appetizer and our seafood entrées were outstanding. The negatives were: side order of brussels sprouts that was extremely salty, desserts that weren’t anything out of the ordinary, and being served my martini in a cracked glass, which I had to point out to the server. Both my husband and I thought that drink would be comped, but it was not.

We had arrived and they put us in the lounge (even though we made reservation). We thought they would put us in the dining room. We did not care for sitting next to the piano player/singer, but it did provide amusement.

From the beginning it seemed like they were very pretentious with their signature purified water!

The food was bland and the apps we had (cauliflower and brussel sprouts) were very very salty (needed another bottle of signature purified water).

The waitress was very accommodating and polite.

For some reason they seated us in the bar. They had 2 cocktail waitresses for 19 tables. The main dining room has one waiter for every 3 tables. Notice any inconsistency? We were paying restaurant prices but with bar service. She was lovely, but had way too many tables

Outstanding seafood. Very good service. Denise at the bar was great. Pricey but worth it for the high quality provisions. We'll be back.

I would recommend the bar, entertainment in the bar, and the appetizers. Food was pretty good, but thought dinner was over-priced, and we happened to be sitting next to a table with two couples within one the two women at the table was obnoxiously loud. Also, our waitress was very pleasant and nice, but everything moved very slowly--getting bread and water on the table, getting our appetizer, our entrees, the bill, etc.

Everything was incredible. They called to confirm we were still coming for dinner. From the valet calling in our names to the entrance so our reservation was ready. Then the person working coat check was so friendly and got us to our table while waiting for one last member of our group running late from work. Our server, Joel, was supremely knowledgeable as well as light hearted and so genuine. He really made the experience so entertaining. Brendan was also so friendly and so knowledgeable about the special manhattans and the wine selection. The baked Alaska for my moms birthday was the perfect touch! Then the ridiculous carrot cake because they are just so kind there, we held the door for a server with a huge tray of food, because he was so jovial we wanted to help! The place outdid themselves. We can’t wait go back. We cannot recommend this place to enough of our friends. I even got a follow up call today. Such a great overall experience from start to finish.

Trulucks is always great. On this visit, my wife ordered their steakhouse ribeye medium rare. It came out very well done. Inedible really. Our server immediately took it away and returned about ten minutes later with a perfectly prepared steak. And she took it off our bill which was not necessary. We had appetizers, salad and a seafood entree to share until the steak came back out. We were perfectly happy and will return.

Great seafood but lacking in good steaks. The bone-in ribeye was a 2/5. It was thin, not very juicy, lacked flavor, but was tender. But then again, this is more of a seafood place and the oysters, scallops, and fish was excellent. The side dishes seemed a bit overpriced for portion size. They are not big enough to share as at other places but the price point is high, around $10 per side. Enjoy!

Took my wife here for her birthday. We had an incredible dinner and were very impressed with the restaurant. The staff there were very knowledgeable and very nice. The food was fantastic --- lobster tails, crab legs and steak -- all top notch --- she even received a free flaming (rum) molten cake -- it is pricy but worth it. Also, they have free valet parking. If you go here for a special occasion, you will not be disappointed.

My daughter and I dined at Truluck's 2 weeks ago and it was more than disappointing. We had an early reservation as she was returning to St. Louis that evening. We were seated in the service area in line with the kitchen door. Forgivable. We inquired about the preparation of some menu items and the questions seemed to pique the server. Another server came by and chose to jump into my daughter's and my personal conversation. What is that? We ordered the shrimp cocktail and honestly, all the smoking dry ice drama could not camouflage the rubbery shrimp. Both my daughter and I ordered broccoli that should have been on the fake food tray. Please peel the broccoli. I ordered the filet and it was so full of gristle it was shameful. My daughter ordered the swordfish and had to prove to the server mashed potatoes came with it. Since it was my daughter's birthday, Truluck's brought an individual flaming baked alaska. Most of it was inedible since it tasted like lighter fluid. The restaurant's decor is lovely and it is a shame the service and food are dismal. Thanks for asking.

Went for a my mother in laws birthday dinner and the dinner was delicious. The waiter was nice and accomadating. However, I mentioned on open table it's a birthday and the waiter had no idea. Also, they put us in a cramped corner next to the cold window where the light fixture was Clearly off centered and the wait staff did not care or think to fix it prior to us sitting until someone brought it up. Without it being centered, half the table was in the dark. Food was delicious but for the price tag, I've had better. I'd go back for special occasions but that's it. It underwhelmed me a bit.

Food was excellent. The seafood was fresh and presented/paired well. The steaks were perfectly done as requested and tender. I would highly recommend the creamed spinach as a side dish. The music in the bar area was unnecessarily loud and bled a bit into the dining room, so it would be advisable to ask for a table against windows on far side of dining room. The service was professional, pleasant and efficient - our waitress was quite supportive when one of our party was on a delayed flight and we wanted to wait a bit before ordering. The only mild disappointment was the key lime pie, which I did not feel had the appropriate amount of "zing" or tart, but was a bit too bland and boring (although the crust was very good). Overall an excellent experience, however.

We all really enjoyed our food and server at Truluck's. The seafood appetizers came on dry ice or were well prepared on top of an ice dish and were of good quality. Lobster bisque was fantastic, first round was lukewarm and our server immediately replaced it with hot fresh soup. My husband's ceviche was in different style then we are used to, more of a seafood guacamole, but there was sure a lot of it! Steak was done to order and my husband and friend enjoyed their scallops. We would eat there again and order different items to try more. We all enjoyed the celebration baked Alaska dessert flambeed tableside as a special touch. I wish they would expand their American bourbon/whiskey collection as much as they have an extensive wine list. Live jazz pianist was a nice touch too - definitely a good solid option if you want a fine steakhouse and don't want to drive into downtown Chicago.

I have to say I was disappointed. Bent fork, overcooked salmon when I asked it pink. I’m no chef but I can and do cook and I can cook better fish at home for much cheaper! Now the positive the crab claw and crab cakes were AMAZING! The waiter was amazing and told me desert was on the house to try and make things better. All the staff were very friendly.

First of all, the customer service was excellent. Everyone, from the valet, the hostess and concierge were very friendly and welcoming. Our server, Romi, was attentive, engaging and knowledgeable of the menu choices.

The menu had a vast array of selections, from hot and cold appetizers, soups, salads and the entrees had several selections in the seafood, shellfish and meat categories. The menu could accommodate most all food choices.

The food was fresh, well prepared and seasoned appropriately.

I highly recommend this place and plan to return.

We have dined at Truluck's in Ft. Lauderdale and thought it was fantastic so we were excited to go to the new Rosemont location and we thought it was even better than the one in Florida!!
We were greeted by more than 1 person and everyone was so friendly, sharp, and well dressed. Impressed with the decor and the lighting. Someone brought us each a glass of champagne to start which was wonderful! Perfect night from beginning to end. Service was outstanding and the food was amazing! We will be back!

The experience at Truluck really surpassed expectations. No, really-I mean it surpassed expectations!

Service was excellent from the bar (Jeannine) to the dining room (Roger). They could not have done a better job of making us feel welcome and cared for even acknowledging a special occasion.
Interesting to see that it was noted when I made the reservation as it most often is not.

Our dinner was perfect-presentation, quality, freshness. The room is lovely and it's comfortable.

There is no question this is a GREAT addition to Rosemont's growing dining scene but put Truluck at the top of your list.
