   Unfortunately this visit was horrible, also it happened to be Mothers Day. It was a first time for my Mom. The service was very bad, the waitress disappeared several times which resulted in our order being taken about 45 minutes after arrival. Also they made a mistake with the order and one of the meals came out 15min before everyone else order plus the food was not hot. When the food did arrive after a hour wait everyone food was cold. Only one of us decided to wait 15 more minutes for another order. Overall not a great experience at all for a party of 7 and a $489 bill with no drinks.

   My reservation was a special occasion. A marriage propsal. The staff, manager and especially our server Shalaya were phenominal. The whole evening was not only memorable but successful. I got a yes as a response. Thank you Trulucks DC...

   Went for our son‘s 30th birthday. An absolutely wonderful, happy, joyful experience. Everyone made us, and especially our son, feel very special. The depth of knowledge and expertise of our waiter was extraordinary. Our first time there, and we will definitely return.

   Experience was great overall. Truluck’s exceeded all expectations! Our waiter, Paul was knowledgeable and engaging; help facilitating a great dinner for the celebration of my birthday. Truly a lasting experience.

   Seated 20 minutes past reservation time Atrocious service - was clear the restaurant was understaffed - food was sub par.

    My sister and I met in DC with my 9 month old baby. The food was beyond delicious and our server made our visit so incredibly special. Mr. Macintosh went above the bar when it came to making it a memorable night. We will definitely be back when we come back to town!
