The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere was perfect for a couple/date night. I had the crab cake and was a bit disappointed. Being from MD, the Washington area my whole life, I was ready for a nice lumpy yummy crabcake. It was flat and round and was a bit mushy. It was tasty but I was expecting better. My husband had the seared tuna and he said it was good. We had a wedge salad and the lyonnaise potatoes which were both very good. It was our anniversary, so they gave us a complimentary Baked Alaska which was a nice end to the meal. I would return but would try some of their other dishes.

The service at Truluck's is exceptional. My husband and I went for our anniversary and requested their rolls topped with parmesan cheese...delicious! We split a wedge salad. I ordered the premium king crab (it came with a nice warm butter) and my husband ordered the lamb chops. They were a little overcooked, but very flavorful. The gravy served underneath the lamb chops was a let down, but the Baked Alaska dessert made up for it! The live piano music provided a very nice atmosphere. We were visiting in DC and will look for Truluck's in our future travels.

I went to Truluck’s for my birthday dinner. I was disappointed in the service. Our waiter disappeared for so long I had to wave down two different waiters for service. I ordered the sea bass, it was flavorful. My friend had the branzino and it was bland. The mashed potatoes were cold. The best dish we had was the spinach and calamari. This will be my first time, last time at this restaurant.

It was our Anniversary and it was both our first time at Truluck's. We'd been wanting to go for a while now. I am glad I chose this special occasion to go because everyone from the hostess at the door personalizing our visit telling us Happy Anniversary to ALL the staff doing the same. The food and drinks were great as well. We definitely will be coming back and telling others about it
