Everyone was on their game and provided the experience as advertised
Very accommodating from valet to bartender and server.
Absolutely wonderful dining experience for my birthday. The small touches, like glitter stars sprinkled on the table indicating a birthday. We tried a couple of appetizers. Lump crab dip was terrific, as was the grilled Asian-infused calamari. My entree scallops were smaller than I’ve had there before, but well seasoned and cooked to perfection. My husband had meatballs and thought they were great. Capped off by a flaming layered ice cream cake with HB spelled out in chocolate. Wait staff was very attentive (almost too many check ins) and GM stopped to say HB. Will definitely return.
My wife and I celebrated our birthdays on Sunday 10/17. The food and service were fantastic. It's pricey but that was expected. We will return. Keep up the great work.
On Sweetest Day, my husband and I as well as two their couples had an amazing dinner here. It was a candle lit dinner with rose petals decorating the table! Such an amazing meal, ambiance, and a very professional and lovely server. We shall be back here!
The king crab was $130 and it was a single leg, mostly shell and not very meaty
The food and service were very good. Very attentative server.
Excellent. Will come back
Great I wish it wasn’t so expensive I’d come or often
I have been impressed with Truluck’s commitment to make things right based on my last experience and subsequent review. I don’t believe I have seen such a sincere effort made by another. Thank you George for your multiple calls and gracious approach to want to make things right with a longtime customer. I look forward to seeing you on my next visit.
Great place for before the show. Food , service and Ambiance where all top notch.
I would suggest asking for the main dining room and a booth ( only a few) as it is
a brighter room ( other room a little dark) and in my optnion more elegant. If your on a date she will love the see & be seen enviorment. Our waiter ( Eddie ) was fantiastic and a real plus to our evening with knowledge of the menu and staying on top of our schedule. Was a wonderful evening
This was our first time to this place, commuting 3.5 hours to it. Was wonderful. A bit expensive, but we knew it was going to be. The food was elegant and served piping hot. OUr server asked if we were going to the concert, (Andrea Bocelli) and we said yes, so he knew what time we had to be out. The oysters, albeit expensive were to die for, as well as the Ora King Salmon. It was our server's recommendation to have both. He was great. Service tip top and appreciated the little things. Would have been nice to have bread or rolls. Was all in all a great dinner.
We had a wonderful dinner! This was our first visit and will not be the last!!
Outstanding food! Great piano player in Bar, but stops at 9:00. Dessi, our server, would get 10 stars if offered!
Went here for my wedding anniversary. The food was delicious. I thought it was weird that the steaks are a la carte…I’m paying $60-100 for a steak; I feel like I should get some veggies or some mashed potatoes with it. The service was phenomenal. I’d go back, but stick to fish so I can get more bang for my buck.
Delicious food and service , salmon was not dry and filet was done just right. Highly recommended for special occasions.
We enjoyed a fantastic meal! Loved the menu choice and the ambiance. The lounge pianist/singer is OUTSTANDING!! She is top notch and her vocals are lovely!
Service was super slow and food took a long time to come out. Food and drinks tasted great though!
It was wedding anniversary. The food was just okay in our opinion. The crab cakes, lobster bisque and lobster mashed potatoes were amazing. My Norwegian salmon was a bit dry and my husband's steak was a bit dry. The menu was a bit limited.
College friends Birthday reunion dinner party- And Eddie our server and Truluck’s did not disappoint. Excellent food with attentive and friendly service
Great server. Music and chatter from other tables loud. I noted 2 special occasions on the reservation app, dessert was only brought after we mentioned it to staff at the desk.
Menu was more limited than our previous visit; only 3 steak selections in a "steak and seafood" restaurant and it seems that there were more scallops at our previous visit. Fillet was very small.
I am a frequent diner at the Naples and Chicago Trulucks locations. This was my first time at the Rosemont location, and it was outstanding.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Would go again. Especially for special occasions. Get the baked alaska for dessert.
We sat in a booth in a bar, which felt very private. Great service by waitress, all the food was delicious. The tuna crudo app was so good, the grapes in it were unexpected and delicious! I had the scallops which were perfect and my dad had the Ora king salmon which he loved(he’s a salmon snob!). The Chardonnay my waitress recommended was wonderful. Always a sophisticated ambiance and worth heading out to rosemont from Chicago for.
Extremely disappointing. I went to the one in Austin, TX and it's a shame how bad this place was. Calamari and Taramasalata with crab both had a funky, nasty taste. Entrees- scallops were good. The seared tuna special was mediocre. Both were outrageously priced. Many great seafood joints in the area. Not coming back to this one.
Service was weak … empty glasses on the table just one example
Terrible service, over two hours for food, everyone around us served before us and slaved on while we sat there and waiting like 2nd class citizens
Service was fantastic, but the food was just okay. We have eaten at the downtown location and it was amazing. Rosemont’s food was not as good.
lobster was out of this world
It was date night w/o the kids tonight before going to the rosemont theater. We picked this to try something new. Our salads were great. My wife had the sea bass and I had the yellow tail both were excellent. Dessert was the chocolate cake, also yummy! A very solid upscale seafood restaurant and only minutes from the other activities in Rosemont.
Gorgeous room, great service - makes the diner seem special (it was my Dad's birthday and the staff greeted him with salutations upon arrival), excellent food.
We especially enjoyed the Lobster Bisque (chunks of lobster), the Caesar Salad and a the Branzino fish entree - served whole and cooked to perfection, brilliant. The flaming Baked Alaska provided some added birthday drama. Expensive - lobster and crab legs were way over priced, likely due to pandemic issues - otherwise well worth the experience.
Thank you Trulucks for marvelous dining. This was our first fine dining experience in two years. We especially appreciated the “dress code”. Food was very very good and beautifully plated. Our server, Sean skillfully described the menu items and specials. The Ora Salmon was outstanding. The staff was professional without being “stuffy”. We look forward to returning to Trulucks.
Very welcoming greeting, excellent and attentive service and food. While Hubby disappointed with no scallops this evening, we both enjoyed the Miso Sea Bass entrees. Appetizers were also excellent. Surely on our will return list!
Truluck's is not inexpensive, but we always enjoy our experience there. The food is delicious and the portions are generous - a salad will definitely feed 2 people. There are items to splurge on if you wish, but many reasonably-priced options as well. It's an elegant restaurant, we would go much more often if we lived closer.
Food was excellent, service was a bit slow. Kinda wish the menu had more options. Overall great experience.
We had an incredible experience at Truluck’s in Rosemont. Food was exceptional and the cocktails were delicious. Our server, Romi, made our experience so fun and lovely.
Birthday Dinner for my daughter was excellent…
Beautiful atmosphere with outstanding food. It’s a bit pricey but we’ll worth it.
Hadn't been to this location before but found it very elegant and the staff very invested in the diner's experience. For example, we felt it was exceptionally chilly upon arrival and the manager promptly attended to the temperature. Further still, our very attentive waiter also brought us a complimentary dessert. All in all, superb food and great experience!
Our server Patrick was absolutely amazing!
This was truly an amazing experience. I took my girlfriend there to celebrate her birthday. We were treated like VIPs. Food and wine was great! I will be back.
I had a fantastic experience at Truluck’s this Saturday for my birthday, Romi and Robert were amazing and the food was heavenly and elaborately presented. Couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely comeback!
