Great food and Nick was an excellent server!!! Couldn’t recommend him more!!
Every course was amazing! Our server, Anne Marie was excellent, too!
Met some friends here for dinner and had a great experience. Friendly staff and wonderful food! Calamari was a hit as were the wedge salads. Miso sea bass was excellent as were the scallops which I tasted. Key lime pie was outstanding! Will definitely return!
Amazing food, I recommend the Sea Bass. The service is always phenomenal, a wonderful experience.
We had a great server, the ambience was delightful and the food was amazing. Did not leave a thing on my plate! That rarely happens.
The restaurant is beautiful and the food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The service was impeccable and our server, Nick, was very knowledgeable and made some wonderful suggestions. The cocktails were also very interesting.
Dinner was a little pricy but it was a special occasion and worth it for such an exceptional evening.
Wonderful dinner and overall experience!
Great location and exceptional customer service.
Superb place. Top-notch restaurant, great and unique style. If you’re worried about nickels and dimes this isn’t the place for you.
I love to visit Truluck in Rosemont. The food is always delicious and Maria was fantastic to us last night.
Everything was totally perfect!
My server, Nickolas was outstanding! The Miso Salmon was to die for, and the huge lobster claw in my cup of lobster bisque was a delight. Quiet and romantic atmosphere, was the perfect setting. Finishing with coffee and Baked Alaska...a culinary dream. Thank you.🧡
Celebrated a milestone birthday with an intimate dinner. Whole branzino was a generous portion prepared perfectly, partner had tuna, also well prepared. I cannot stand overcooked fish, this wasn’t the case at Trulucks. Oysters as appetizers were accompanied by delicious toppings. Ambiance is cozy and romantic!
This was our second experience at this outstanding primarily seafood-based restaurant. The ambiance is difficult to beat. The food and its presentation are outstanding. The wait staff is knowledgeable and courteous. It is on the pricier side but you get what you pay for.
Wonderful time as usual
The worse experience ever. Will never return!
Fantastic service and amazing seafood! Lobster bisque was amazing with big chunks of lobster. Crab and shrimp napoleon was delicious. Drinks are superb too!
We really liked the look and feel of the restaurant.
We were celebrating an early NYE and the last of our 40th wedding anniversary celebrations.
Nick did a great job as our waiter and the staff from bar and kitchen were superb!
My wife didn’t feel like complaining when her lobster seemed over cooked/steamed but the rest of our meal appetizer, Caesar salad, tuna and complimentary Baked Alaska with the great wine/cocktail offering made for a must try again experience.
THE best dining experience I have ever had! I felt spoiled and loved....When we got there, we were told Happy Anniversary by everyone, and our comfy romantic booth had rose petals spread on the table... What a nice touch!
Our server Eda was engaging and spot on. She was attentive and well informed of everything. She never missed a beat, and was the best service I have had in years.
The drinks were amazing...with a good selection of bourbon (yippee me!) The lobster bisque was the best I have ever had! All of the food was great. My steak was cooked to perfection, her lobster was melt in your mouth perfect.
Then...after we were stuffed and ready to head back to the hotel, out comes our server Eda with this complimentary Baked Alaska with the Happy Anniversary written in chocolate!
There was nothing that did not taste and feel 5 star. If you are ever around one of these, and it is a special occasion, I can't say enough good things about the place. It is not cheap...but worth the price for the memory. This has made it to my "All other restaurants are now compared to this" top spot,
And if you are by the one in Rosemont Ill....Ask for Eda...She is the best server I have had...ever. Tip her well!
Great food and service
Our waiter was amazing! The food was delicious!
Nicholas was our server and he was exceptional and made the evening great for all of us. Food was spot on and drinks were creative.
Great Christmas Eve dinner with family!
A remarkable dining experience marked by exceptional service.
The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive. I would highly recommend the flamingo
It was great. Great service. Delicious food.
We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and everything was amazing. The experience begins with the valet. We were welcomed and had a super amazing waitress. The food and drinks were exceptional!!!
Loved everything about it
Truluck's is one of the finest seafood restaurants that I have dined at. It is the total package: sumptuous food (e.g. the Shrimp and Crab Napoleon), impeccable service (Douglas was wonderful), and breathtaking ambiance.
Amazing food and experience
The female bartender was rude at the bar.
George is an incredible host, always ensuring a consistently amazing experience. I was thrilled to still see stone crabs on the menu and always happy to make a meal of them every chance I get. Truluck’s is my go to for the best Chicago seafood.
Thank you for making my birthday experience excellent!
This restaurant was fine. For some of the pricier items such as the South African lobster I just wasn’t sold it would be worth it. I was not feeling a true fine dining experience. It was fine. Good meal. Good atmosphere. Not outstanding. Very nice.
Wife wanted seafood so we took the 30 minute drive to check this place out. We were greeted by friendly warm folks who promptly sat us (we had reservations).
Wife ordered oysters for a started, the host came to our table 10 minutes later and told us that had just run out of oysters and we wouldn't be getting any, offered something else on the house. Wife's second bourbon took 25 minutes to arrive at our table but only after we reminded our server about it, that drink ended up being on the house as well. To be fair our waitress seemed to have her hands full holding down several tables by herself. Ordered crab claws which were tasty but skimpy for the price. Wife's seabass was pretty good but not the best ever. My 7oz filet was recommended by our waitress as "a really good one". She was right! It was one of the best filets I've ever had and I've my share from nice steakhouses. Filet was cooked perfectly (medium rare). It needed nothing, no crusty parmesan, blue cheese crumbles, or bernoise sauce. It was lightly salted and seasoned to perfection. Lobster mashed potatoes were alright but not worth 32 bucks for a sharable side. We'd give it another shot I think. I'd skip the appetizers and go right for the filet in heartbeat.
The food was excellent and our server Brian was excellent. We told him we were eating prior to a concert and needed to be done by 7:00. We enjoyed our dinner and were on our way at 6:58. Very much appreciated.
Very excited about the food and the menu. The food was excellent that we did order Stone crab, steak, lobster but sadly the service was horrible. The waiter was very inexperienced and when you’re buying a meal that’s several hundred dollars and you do not have excellent service it disappoints you. Ordered coffee had to wait 20 minutes. Ordered rolls they didn’t come until after we eat our dinner. I cannot complain about the food or the The restaurant itself, just the service. I want to mention that I did tell the manager about this and he was excellent in assisting our party and made it right by all of us. I think with the pandemic hiring/training people is not easy, but it’s disappointing to go out for an extremely nice meal and have bad service. Nonetheless the manager was superb and addressed all issues. Definitely go for the food it was outstanding.
The service was impeccable-ask for Rick as your server.. He had great recommendations from the menu and was very attentive. The food was delicious and the presentation was artful. The setting was comfortable, and able to have a conversation.
Great food and service, background music too loud to have a conversation at the table without raising a voice
Romi is by far the best server! Wonderful experience
