The food was fantastic. Our waitress seemed like it was her first time serving. Not remembering to bring drink orders, taking a fork to give us a lemon and not giving one back for dinner. BUT all in all, the food was GREAT.

We went for the first time and celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. The staff were fantastic, personable, and professional. Rudy was our server and he is simply amazing. The manager stopped by to talk with us a couple of times. The food is the best I’ve ever had. The entire experience is worth every penny and I highly recommend Truluck’s for any special occasion.

Abby was an outstanding server! I came in with my mom to celebrate our birthdays and we were met with such a warm atmosphere, attentive service, and amazing food. I would recommend any dish on that menu, but we were lucky enough to try the house rolls, Caesar salad, seared tuna, miso-glazed sea bass, and pan-seared broccoli! Each dish was better than the next. Our birthday dessert was delicious and made us feel super special (they even decorated our table with confetti and a hand-written note!). We cannot wait to come back to this restaurant and bring our entire family next month, especially given all of the round tables inside! Thank you, Abby, for making our night so fantastic, memorable, and special!

Cocktails and crab cakes at the bar AWESOME and 50% off before 6pm. Oysters and the BEST lobster bisque for pre-dinner starters. The server recommended an AMAZING Super Tuscan red wine that went perfectly with my fish and my dinner partners surf and turf. We ended with a HUGE slice of chocolate cake for two (really four) drizzled with warm chocolate sauce. Definitely a place for special occasions!

Hostess greeted us and showed us to the booth nicely. Waitress Courtney was helpful with the menu, assistants served the food nicely. Jumbo crab cake and the local walleye pike was delicious. Courtney poured the wine in a fine manner and came around to refill our glasses. The restaurant was decorated with beautiful flowers, and has a fine ambiance. The booth was comfortable.

I chose to dine here for my 27th birthday dinner and this place did not miss a beat! Im so happy I picked such a beautiful place to celebrate my life. We ultimately ended up choosing here because Trulucks met every dietary restriction someone in my family had. Plant based options ( which were delicious) non meat options and I am dairy free. They ended up customizing my meal for me and it was so so good! Even the bathrooms were nice. Not too cold or loud inside. And I feel for the price you truly get what you pay for. Hubby and I got this recommendation from friends and decided to visit for our anniversary. The food was great! I had the salmon dish and substituted the mash potatoes for the delicious crab fried rice (serving of rice was small) and you paid a little extra for the substitution. My husband had the stuffed lobster with the mash potatoes and it was equally delish! If you are celebrating an anniversary, dessert is a surprise treat! Service was great, the food was hot and served very timely.

Had the scallops, calamari, and filet mignon. Filet mignon was bland as were the scallops. Calamari was okay along with the sauce. Service was just average as I had to ask the busboy for salt and pepper and was never offered steak sauce and figured why bother asking. Low standards seems to be par for course in American restaurants these days.

I had booked this restaurant for my wife’s Birthday Sept 23 2023 for my wife’s 64th birthday at 7:00 pm We arrived and we were seated abs there was poor service from the start . No waiter or waitress for 20 min , no water or drinks ! We ordered appetizers and it took very long 30 min, then we finally ordered dinner and it came 8:45 pm . Very poor service and the food wasn’t that great for seafood . The martinis were weak lack of alcohol . It was just a terribly bad dinner and service

What a fabulous experience in beautiful surroundings. We dined in the bar during happy hour but ordered from the dining room menu. The very lightly breaded salt and pepper calamari was so tender. They were the smallest rings and tentacles that I have ever seen. I ordered the Almond crusted whitefish and the butter sauce was outstanding. My husband had the walleye which was also outstanding and the warm rolls are to die for. Desserts are too notch also and the waitstaff couldn’t be friendlier. An added bonus is the piano bar. The piano player had a beautiful voice. There is not a bad thing to say about this restaurant and I will definitely be back. Five stars across the board.

The first time we ate at Trulucks it was delicious, and the service was amazing. This is the 4th time that we come and the food did not taste the same, we waited forever for our food, and our favorite waiter looked overworked. We love their yeast rolls, and we never received them, and when we asked why not, we got two different stories. The waiter told us one thing and the manager told us another. Not to mention, the quality of the food does not seem the same. I think they changed the cook, management, and staff. I'm disappointed in our experience. We might come back in a couple of weeks in hopes that they solve these problems. I know we weren't the only ones who were upset last night.

Perfect place to celebrate a special occassion. Live piano player was a bonus. Exceptional service and outstanding food. Managerial staff is top notch, checking in to make sure everything is perfect. Great selections for Gluten Free (celiac disease) dining. I will keep returning.

The food came out room temperature not hot. The server was not clear with what options there was to remove allergens from the dishes. For entertainment there was a singer who also played piano she was great. The ambiance was very romantic and chic.

We visited Truluck's on 9/9/23. We got there right on time for our 7:30 pm reservation and we were seated right away. We ordered the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo and Chef's daily oyster selection- both plated were super fresh and nice presentation. Their 12oz filet was a perfect medium rear, also got the asparagus and mushrooms. Our server was attentive and our water glasses were always full. We were very pleased with the service and the food. I definitely would love to come back. I almost forgot, their menus light up! - which is a very nice touch especially if you want to keep that intimate atmosphere ....and The lady at the piano was pretty good too.

Quality, Service and Kindness - Found Truluck’s in a search for places with a wide variety of high end seafood. Had a private conversation with a hostess about some very tough reasons we were on a weekend getaway. We were seated, greeted and treated amazingly. From apps, to salads, to mains and dessert, everything was fantastic. Just before we received our dessert, the manager, Blake, came up to us knowing why we were there. In a great act of kindness, he treated us that night. It was a very emotional moment for us. We’ve been sharing our experience and passing along our recommendation ever since. We won’t forget that night ever, and we will definitely return when back in the area. Five stars from start to finish!

We were a table of 4. Each of us ordered a different dish for our main course. Grilled whitefish, Whitefish Almandine, Walleye Pike and New England Scallops were tried by all. From an eight year old to a 74 yo we agreed everyone’s dish was delicious. We ended the night with baked Alaska, an entertaining birthday dessert. A great night was had by all.
