Great service and food...
The food was wonderful, the service was great. It's now my go to restaurant once a month. I cant stop bragging about this restaurant. I will be returning
Per usual the dining experience at Truluck's never disappoints. This remains our favorite restaurant. The food is always exceptional. The service is always impeccable. The chocolate cake is truly to die for! We can't wait to go back and have another great experience.
Excellent service our server Miguel was the best. Would definitely recommend this restaurant
Good was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Staff was very friendly and attentive!
Our dining experience was absolutely fantastic. The hardest thing I had done was to make the reservation. We were promptly greeted and seated upon arrival. Our waiter Juan, from serving our wine selection through 4 courses was superb. Overall, the staff moved through the dining room with grace and purpose under the watchful eye of a most pleasant manager - Yesica. Just as pleasing was the food, we started with stone crab claws and the lobstercargot. Next was the caesar salad and lobster bisque. The portions were generous without being over-abundant. Our main entrees were a deboned red snapper and the chef's filet topped with shrimp, crab and bearnaise sauce. We shared an order of crab fried rice that was delicious. There was hardly room for dessert, but we had to go for the baked Alaska, and it did not disappoint! Trulucks is an exceptional restaurant.
Everything was fabulous, from the service to the meal. Highly recommend.
Great food and great service. One of favorites.
Food was amazing
Wonderful meal and great service as always but the dining area was very loud and made it difficult to carry on a conversation. Didn’t help that we were seated to a loud talking couple with their child.
Everything at the restaurant added to a great evening out. Good food, good wine, and great service. Highly recommend!
The food was amazing and our wait staff could not have been any better! We were highly impressed and will be visiting again!
My wife and I had reservations at 5 but were told to wait in the bar while the table was prepared. The issue was we waited and watched as other people who checked in after us were seated. We had to ask twice why were not seated. We were seated in a booth next to where the servers where in and out. The booth was large, the music was too loud, and the noise from the traffic made the experience horrible. We couldn't hear each other. Mike, our server, was the highlight of the evening. He was awesome and did an excellent job. The food was mediocre at best. My fish was bland, and my wife's lobster was decent. Her butter sauce had way too much garlic. Something in her meal made her very sick later that evening. I usually do not write reviews, good or bad, nor do I complain at the restaurant, but this was not a good experience. We have frequented many Truluck's prior, but this location did not live up to what we had experienced previously.
Perfect food. Best carrot cake in the galaxy.
Loved their birthday dessert surprise.
Excellent overall experience. Great food, Great server, Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
The crab cakes were very good, but that’s it. We were in town for business and excited to try this restaurant. Dinner, both salmon and filet were overcooked and no taste. Our waiter seemed very annoyed and actually argued with me about what I ordered. Very disappointed. And extremely over priced for the quality of food.
We started in the bar where the server was extremely knowledgeable about the drinks in your menu and some that were not. Great service. We were seated before our reservation time at an upstairs booth- perfect. Our server was great- he knew the menu, the specials, and offered his opinions without being overbearing. By the end of the evening we were all talking sports and marveling over what a great experience we had a Truluck's!
It was the perfect atmosphere for an anniversary dinner. It was very romantic and the service and food was incredible.
Probably would have had a better experience if we sat at a table, but we sat at the bar to be close to the live music. This is our second time at this location. First was several years ago, and both times, the service was below average. Kept having to wait for bartenders to get to the end of the bar, and each time had to flag down managers, or food runners, or a different bartender to request things. They just don’t do a great job of regularly checking in, or catering to people who dine at the bar(which happened to be most of the customers). Disappointing because we love the food and ambiance.
Everything was wonderful our server was amazing
Birthday! Everything was great except for food. 5 of the 6 dishes we ordered was super salty. Fish, Scallops, and steaks were cooked perfectly just salty. Lobster was perfect. Not salty. Service was great though.
Birthday and stone crab claws
Sat in the bar with the live music! Great spot for a birthday dinner!!
Miguel was our server and he was perfect. He followed up with every course, was engaging, and you could tell he cares about his job and the guest experience. The other tables around us all seemed to be having a a great time. The pianist downstairs played great songs too!
Great place for date night!
Very good and accommodating our short window to an event.
Very attentive service. Waiter was great.
The seafood was excellent, but we found the filet Oscar and Caesar salad quite underwhelming. Chilled seafood has never held much appeal for me, but I truly enjoyed the crab claws my husband insisted upon. The lobster bisque was rich with a silken quality and depth of flavor, unlike so many other restaurants in the area. The highlight of the meal was definitely the scallops I added - so sweet and perfectly seared. My husband chose the lobster and king crab and both were wonderful. If the lettuce had been properly dried before dressing and the filet a better cut, the meal would have been flawless.
