Unbelievably delicious meal. The service was impeccable, plus there was live music which was another bonus to the evening! We had the jumbo shrimp cocktail and a salad to start, Alaskan king crab legs, Parmesan mashed potatoes, and asparagus for our entrees, and a baked Alaskan for dessert. 5 stars all around. We were very impressed and can’t wait to be back!

Just wonderful. Our third time to celebrate our anniversary with Truluck’s and they never disappoint. The service was perfect—from the initial greeting all the way through to the end. Attentive, warm and knowledgeable. The food was spectacular as always, both seafood (my husband had the scallops) and beef (I had the perfect filet). I can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!

Servers were excellent and very observant. We didn’t have to ask for refills and they made good menu recommendations!

Do not order Salmon. For the 2nd time, this dish was cooked on the outside and almost raw on the inside.
The Dutch Hiramasa was OK, but the grape and tomato garnish was too tart to eat. Probably should order an extra side.
Our calamari appetizer was excellent as always.
The service is top notch and the atmosphere is rather elegant, quiet and peaceful, which is why we come here.
I had ordered a special desert for our 52nd wedding anniversary and the young lady failed to relay the request to the kitchen, so we got baked Alaska which I had told her we do not care for.

Everytime we go to Trulucks we are impressed. We live pretty far (about 38 minutes) but we make it out here minimum twice per month because we love it so much. We have tried all other steakhouse/seafood restaurants downtown and each time we try one, we end up missing Trulucks more. The food is fantastic as is the atmosphere, but the best part is the team. The entire restaurant is personable, thoughtful, professional and has a knack for remembering all of your favorites. The entire experience leaves you feeling that they were EXCITED for you to be there, and they truly want you to come back to enjoy your company. We we will be lifetime customers.

Went for my 21st Birthday. I had king crab for the first time and it was amazing.

The service and food was outstanding! The employees were friendly and helpful, and our server was personable and knowledgable. Our food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Once again they deliver with super service and exceptional tasting food.

I was actually uncertain beforehand, wondering if it would feel just like any other fancy restaurant without being unique enough, and I was so wrong. Great birthday experience

Wow! We celebrated my son’s 17th birthday and Trulucks didn’t disappoint!
From the warm greeting, the attention to detail by Patrick and his team, and the excellent food, we had a fantastic experience!

First time with Truluck’s and the service was outstanding! The staff was very professional and kind. The South African lobster tail = *chef kiss*

I've been to this location several times and they always exceed expectations. Everything from the service to the drinks to the food was incredibly and I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough.

The oysters and Ahi Tuna were some of the best we’ve ever had!

Our son enjoyed celebrating his birthday with our family of 4 at Truluck’s downtown Austin last Monday. Staff were very attentive and friendly, and the manager stopped by more than once to ensure we were happy. The surface paid parking lot across the street is no longer there but now under construction with a high rise, but the valet was quick and easy and worth the $12 + tip. It was very quiet downtown, likely because of the MLK holiday, which was fine by us. The food was yummy - we each had the amazing lobster bisque, then shared the Napoleon tower appetizer. The rolls are a hit with the fancy butter and served HOT. We each got a different entree and shared tastes - our favorites were the seared tuna and the sea bass. I got the Atomic shrimp cocktail appetizer for my entree as I knew I wouldn’t be very hungry after so many apps, and it did not disappoint! This is a place we can only really afford to splurge once a year for his birthday or special occasion and it was excellent. Total bill was around $75/pp, including 1 bottle of conservatively priced Chardonnay for the 2 adults and many nonalcoholic beverages for the kids (lemon pelligrino). Highly recommend! 🦀🎉

Lovely ambiance, had a great time

Went for my wife’s birthday I got the ribeye she got the filet both medium the steaks were way too charred the lobster mash was awesome and the service was excellent no complaints there. I felt that the ribeye was a lower grade of meat or at least the loin it came from wasn’t up to par but sides and crab Louie cocktail was delicious.
