Wonderful evening from start to finish! Our waiter Stoffer was fantastic as well the meal was absolutely delicious!

Dinner was fantastic! Amazing staff, amazing food and very clean. This was by far one of my favorite and delicious experiences.

This is one of our go-to upscale restaurants in North Austin for many years but it seems like service and some of the food was just a little off.

First, we made reservations days in advance and got put into the side-room (as the only customers) before we insisted on being moved back to the main restaurant. Not sure why that is ever okay, I was disappointed we didn't have a booth because it was a special occasion.

The food was good, but not great. I got a very small Fillet and a nice portion lobster tail. Both were cooked perfectly but I was disappointed in the tiny fillet. My lobster bisque was amazing and the Shrimp Cocktail was good. Be sure to get the Crab rice, it's great. Unfortunately, I was served soggy, yellow asparagus... and this puny fillet. I don't know why a cook or waiter would serve these to us given the $ we were spending.

Trulucks normally delivers a nice ambience and great food but I felt they came up short this time. My wife will likely convince me to try this place again sometime, but I won't chance it again without some convincing...

It was hands down the best dinner we ever had! The baked Alaska was phenomenal! We have been there once before and we are never disappointed. I would give them a 10 star if I could!

We made reservations for my wife's birthday. One of the options when making the reservation was "Top Tier". I didn't know what that meant and it wasn't explained so I guessed that it meant the booths on the restaurant since they are slightly elevated. Turns out that it's in the bar and elevated against the wall. No matter, Ryan made certain that we had the highest level of service.
We had the Crab Cake appetizer, split a Caesar salad, Chilean Sea Bass and the Whole Fish entree. Everything arrived appropriately spaced and perfectly cooked.
We've been here many times for various special events.
We will definitely be back!

Food was okay. Not worth the price. They’re going way overboard on the social distancing, so the place feels dead. I’d recommend any other steak place over this one.

Perfect setting for a quiet romantic date night. The service was extremely good. Nice place to visit if you're visiting Austin and enjoy delicious seafood.

Food was fabulous - as always. Ahi Tuna, Miso Sea Bass and Salmon entrees were perfect. Crab cakes as an appetizer were delicious. The service from Wayne was very attentive, and the atmosphere was ideal - not too loud, but a cool vibe with pianist with soothing vocals. Really good time out at one of my favorite places. Looking forward to getting back soon.

Truluck's prides itself on the freshness of its seafood and fish. Above and beyond the food, the service was outstanding. The manager stopped by each table. The waiter, the expediter, and the supplementary wait personnel were all johnny-on-the-spot with anything we needed. The meal was perfectly paced, we were not rushed or kept waiting. I was also happy with the wine list and the wine was perfectly chilled.

We felt like we were on vacation! Amazing food, great ambiance/vibe, and the lounge pianist was all perfect! Loved the Valentine’s Day couple dinner package.

Scallops were a little chewie/rubbery, and NY strip had some gristle (Prime grade), Choc cake was obviously not fresh, probably sitting in the fridge for a few days. Server was respondent Overall the meal & experience were very good though.

The whole staff was amazing for my husbands birthday! They gave us a desert and champagne!

We had a fantastic birthday dinner. The staff does a great job making each visit special and the food is delicious.

Truluck's offers a truly great dining experience. They have great systems in place to communicate special events to their staff and so we were always congratulated on our anniversary. The Manager came by and check on us twice and the wait staff was excellent.

2/8/2021 Food was absolutely spectacular, service was the best service I have ever had (Jonathan was very attentive), they made my daughter’s boyfriend’s 21st birthday special. I would absolutely recommend Trulucks for those occasions that you want to make memorable.

We love Truluck’s! My husband and I will be going back. My husband was celebrating his birthday and it’s claw season. I wanted something different than the Hawaiian Ahi Tuna, favorite. Ordered the scallops. 4 stars is because the first scallop I bite into was uneatable because the scallops had lots of sand in it. I was shocked of how much sand, I could even see it. I should have said something but I did not. Two scallops out of the four on my plate was sand free. Disappointed but it will not stop us from going back.

My wife wasn't sure but quickly was satisfied. The specialty drinks were wide that gave up a pick. Our dinner was lovely. She picked the Sea Bass and it was amazing and the piece was huge and I went with the flight of crab claws. It was more expensive than I like to spend but they were sweet and the mustard sauce was fabulous. We are going to go back again.

We've been here before, but I must say our experience tonight was the best so far! We had lots of appetizers and several entrees, sides and deserts. Everything was awesome! Our server Bella was awesome as well..

The food and service was great as usual. We reserved a table in the bar area and was seated right in front of the piano player. Great music but unfortunately it was a bit too loud for our taste. Next time we will know better when we come back.

This is the "go-to" for luxury seafood and steak options in the Austin area in my opinion. Everything is amazing from the food, drinks, desserts, and staff. I can't think of anything about Truluck's I don't enjoy.

This was our anniversary dinner, I would have expected a better table than what was provided. There where plenty of booths available which would have been appropriate for the occasion. My wife’s meal was amazing and the presentation was what you would have expected. My steak was very underwhelming for the price, I have seen much better steaks at lesser restaurants.

Amazing food, outstanding service! Portions were more than adequate, beautifully prepared, and tasty!

Normally a great experience, however our last visit was the least impressed we've been as far as service goes, however the food was still excellent. Several times we were left with empty glasses and waiting for the server to return despite him glancing at our table and walking by repeatedly. At the end of the night we ordered coffee after our entrée, but we did not receive it until well after dessert was finished and we were ready for the check at this point.

Steaks were cooked perfectly and drinks were also delicious. This is one of our favorite places to go to normally, so hopefully it was a fluke and not a new trend. I'd still recommend Truluck's for their great food and hopefully have a better experience.
