Birthday! Manuel provides great service for our party of 14 as we celebrated our daughters 23rd birthday! Yummy food! We dined from the brunch menu and the lunch Menu- steal ‘ eggs, eggs benedict, French toast and the bacon & egg pizza delicious!
Great food! Went here for a friend's bday dinner. We were all able to choose options that fit our specific tastes/dietary restrictions. I could've stood for better service... our waiter wasn't bad just not as attentive as I would have liked. He got our first round of drinks but never even asked if we wanted a second drink or dessert sooooo missed opportunity on his part there....
Great gluten free options.
Great food, service and atmosphere. 2nd time there and took a group that was new to the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we jealous of the others selections.
Always great food !
Good food and service.
Food is good. Drinks are a little pricy, but good. Service from our server was good. The manager/greeter checking us in was terrible. We had a reservation however, at the last minute an additional friend decided to join us, our party went from 5 to 6. Although our table would be a little tight but would reasonably seat 6 we were fine that the restaurant could accommodate. The person, didn’t get his name, decided he was going to scold me and educate me that I was lucky that they were able to accommodate me this time. I thought that was over the top and completely unnecessary.
When I walked in I notified him having a rough conversation with another guest. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. Never forget your client is the boss and you should do all you can to satisfy their need. There are to many restaurants in Frisco :-)
Excellent service and food as usual
Love the cheese plate
Easter brunch was fantastic. Food was great and service was excellent
Great place. We had been wanting to try but never made the time. Went there for Easter brunch. Ended up ordering off the main menu as everything looked great and we could come back from brunch anytime. Food was awesome. Highly recommend.
We went for Sunday brunch on Easter. Service was extremely prompt and super friendly! The food was amazing! Definitely will come again
Everything is delicious!! Chicken Parmesan is the best!!
Some great salmon cooked to perfection on my Caesar salad
We've been to Trufire several times before but I think we caught them on an off night. The service was not good. It took a really long time to get drinks. We ordered salads and entrees but the salad came out at the same time as the entrees. Not what we wanted. The restaurant was very gracious and did not charge for the salads. The food was excellent as always.
Been eating here since they opened. Always good food and service. Very consistent.
Always great and quick service! Love the gluten free menu too!
We have been here several times and this experience was an anomaly. Usually we've had amazing service, food, and ambiance. Unfortunately, this time was not that. Our server seemed incredibly unsure of herself and less than knowledgeable of the menu. The food seemed overly rich and lacked a sense a brightness. I also had indicated it was my wife's birthday with our reservation and there was not even an acknowledgement. I wasn't looking for a freebie but a simple "Happy Birthday" to her would have been nice. With all the new options just down the road at The Star I think their game needs to be stepped up.
Service here was above and beyond, and catered to our every need without a negative attitude whatsoever.
I normally love eating here but tonight - everything was about the no! The waitress told us about a family meal plan and then said - it's only for sunday and said she was told to "sell it". When we we're ordering we asked to do a small order of fries instead of the salad on the plate - No the manager doesn't do that. She came back and said we would have to charge you. But if I don't want the salad I don't get a credit?. Not the customer service experience we usually have. Just a lot of No!
Menu, food and service - all well done! Cocktails were good. Tasty flatbread - pizza - Spaghetti ! Will repeat a visit and try the patio!
Haley was a great waitress and the manager was helpful but unfortunately the food was not warm for the 2nd time.
We went, even though the reviews were mixed...
Host staff were clueless. We had a reservation on Open Table and they apparently disregarded it. Were sat at a table in the dining room in front of the patio door. Every time it opened our candle blew out...
Server was friendly and knowledgeable (Randy). Drinks took FOREVER to come from the bar. Crab Dip appetizer tasted of cheese and salt, no crab... do not order.
Wife ordered the wedge salad which was good. I ordered the Smoked Pasta/Meatballs w Fried Egg. Had to ask for more sauce...
Chicken sandwich was overly salty 😕 Latin fire pizza and Falafal platter was great. Attentive server.
The drinks were great but a little pricey. The food was so salty, it was in-edible, I had to send it back (chicken Marsala). The server offered to bring something else, but friends were already half way into meal by the time he came to the table to check on food. Ended up just getting a salad (that they charged me for).
Enjoyed our meal, but the music was too loud and the dining area was too crowded...
I sat close to the table and still I had my chair hit several times.
We eat here for all our special occasions. It's one of our favorite restaurants in Frisco. The artichoke appetizer is on our personal best list of "the best thing I ever ate". So is the blueberry lemon cake. Yummo!
Great place to go out on date night with your wife/hubby.
Atmosphere(décor, music) was spot-on! Wait-staff was friendly & accommodating, although I did have to hunt down the waiter, to refill my date's drink. Craft cocktails were delicious, if a bit pricey.
The service was great! Our waitress was very good. A few of us even commented amongst ourselves about how much we enjoyed her.
Family came into town and this is one of the best gluten free places in north Texas. Great drinks and food.
Group of 8 - everyone loved the food and experience!
On the open table reservation I said that it was a birthday, but the servers seemed to have no idea and/or didn’t acknowledge it in any way.
TruFire is always excellent. They have a great gluten-free menu, I just wish they had gluten-free beer as well. Excellent covered patio area with an outdoor fireplace. This is one of our favorite restaurants. I love the meatball pasta with an egg on top. I have heard they have a brunch buffet available on the weekends now, but I haven't tried it. Definitely on my list of things to do.
TruFire is our favorite restaurant!
Everything is good, the place is just a bit too dark.
One of our favorite local spots. Food & service were great. Salmon came out a bit under done, but waitress noticed & got it replaced quickly. Wife's pork chop was excellent. Blueberry-lemon cake is a must!
It was my third time there and I don't go there often, but it's a nice place to have lunch with friends. They are a little pricey for what you get.
Excellent food and service at TruFire! Once again!!
Went for Sunday brunch to celebrate my wife's birthday. She only eats gluten free meal and TruFire Kitchen had a great selection. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was outstanding.
Would just like a little more light. But we loveeeeee it here :)
