TruFire Kitchen & Bar - Frisco Ratings and Reviews
Our family of 4 were sat in a small room with a large party of probably 15 at one table behind us and another table of 5. The volume in that room was almost unbearable. My family couldn’t hear each talk so we didn’t really enjoy our dinner which cost us over $100, and we shared a couple of items. It was very disappointing. The food is good. But because of the noise, I would either choose to come at a different time or not at all.
Went for New Year's Eve. We have had better experiences at this bar. Conversation over the phone with restaurant staff was misleading about Sunday Happy Hour specials...ended up not getting anything from the bar as a result. Staff seemed very rushed to get out and get home for their own New Year's Eve celebrations. Food preparation more bland than in the past.
Overall this is a great place to eat, however I would recommend sitting at the bar if you want to get your food in any sort of decent timeframe. Sitting at a table and ordering a board and a salad will take 45 min for your salad to come out. Same meal at the bar you’ll have it in 15-20 min max. The food is always great though as is the service. The kitchen just seems to be slow the tables and quick to the bar. This is my continual experience.
The service was a bit disappointing. We had to get the hostess’s attention just for them to find our waiter. The salmon was undercooked even though it was sent back to the kitchen. Aside from the disappointing service the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely and the food was delicious.
The restaurant and food were great! We all loved it; however, 2 of the 5 people became really sick shortly after leaving the restaurant. We both had the Chicken sandwich so we are pretty sure that that was the culprit. We will be back but are a little hesitant to get that menu item again.
The food was delicious. My wife has a seafood allergy and somehow shrimp ended up on her chicken pizza. Fortunately she discovered it before taking a bite. When the staff found out about the mistake, they immediately rectified the situation. They also paid for the pizza and even gave us free dessert. A+ service
I've been here several times to meet with friends . Lots of options for salads, pizza, appetizers and entrée options. I had the Naked Avocado with Shrimp (no onions). It's not really a salad, but soooo good. My friend had the trout and cleaned his plate. Two of my favorite salads are the Mediterranean and the Texas Pecan & Fig (not sure of the title). Anyway, food is great!
