Service here was above and beyond, and catered to our every need without a negative attitude whatsoever.
I normally love eating here but tonight - everything was about the no! The waitress told us about a family meal plan and then said - it's only for sunday and said she was told to "sell it". When we we're ordering we asked to do a small order of fries instead of the salad on the plate - No the manager doesn't do that. She came back and said we would have to charge you. But if I don't want the salad I don't get a credit?. Not the customer service experience we usually have. Just a lot of No!
Haley was a great waitress and the manager was helpful but unfortunately the food was not warm for the 2nd time.
We went, even though the reviews were mixed...
Host staff were clueless. We had a reservation on Open Table and they apparently disregarded it. Were sat at a table in the dining room in front of the patio door. Every time it opened our candle blew out...
Server was friendly and knowledgeable (Randy). Drinks took FOREVER to come from the bar. Crab Dip appetizer tasted of cheese and salt, no crab... do not order.
Wife ordered the wedge salad which was good. I ordered the Smoked Pasta/Meatballs w Fried Egg. Had to ask for more sauce...
Chicken sandwich was overly salty 😕 Latin fire pizza and Falafal platter was great. Attentive server.
The drinks were great but a little pricey. The food was so salty, it was in-edible, I had to send it back (chicken Marsala). The server offered to bring something else, but friends were already half way into meal by the time he came to the table to check on food. Ended up just getting a salad (that they charged me for).
Enjoyed our meal, but the music was too loud and the dining area was too crowded...
I sat close to the table and still I had my chair hit several times.
We eat here for all our special occasions. It's one of our favorite restaurants in Frisco. The artichoke appetizer is on our personal best list of "the best thing I ever ate". So is the blueberry lemon cake. Yummo!
Great place to go out on date night with your wife/hubby.
Atmosphere(décor, music) was spot-on! Wait-staff was friendly & accommodating, although I did have to hunt down the waiter, to refill my date's drink. Craft cocktails were delicious, if a bit pricey.
The service was great! Our waitress was very good. A few of us even commented amongst ourselves about how much we enjoyed her.
Family came into town and this is one of the best gluten free places in north Texas. Great drinks and food.
Group of 8 - everyone loved the food and experience!
On the open table reservation I said that it was a birthday, but the servers seemed to have no idea and/or didn’t acknowledge it in any way.
Everything is good, the place is just a bit too dark.
One of our favorite local spots. Food & service were great. Salmon came out a bit under done, but waitress noticed & got it replaced quickly. Wife's pork chop was excellent. Blueberry-lemon cake is a must!
It was my third time there and I don't go there often, but it's a nice place to have lunch with friends. They are a little pricey for what you get.
Excellent food and service at TruFire! Once again!!
Went for Sunday brunch to celebrate my wife's birthday. She only eats gluten free meal and TruFire Kitchen had a great selection. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was outstanding.
Would just like a little more light. But we loveeeeee it here :)
In four trips, one for brunch, two for dinner and one for a dinner party that we organized, we have never been disappointed to any degree in any respect! We're thrilled to have TruFire available to us!
Service was not great and it was a bit noisy, but food was great.
Good bolognese. Artichoke app was ok. Wine list is ok. Louder than normal.
Very enjoyable. Great food.
Consultant great food and drinks. Great go to spot.
Our family of 4 were sat in a small room with a large party of probably 15 at one table behind us and another table of 5. The volume in that room was almost unbearable. My family couldn’t hear each talk so we didn’t really enjoy our dinner which cost us over $100, and we shared a couple of items. It was very disappointing. The food is good. But because of the noise, I would either choose to come at a different time or not at all.
Went for New Year's Eve. We have had better experiences at this bar. Conversation over the phone with restaurant staff was misleading about Sunday Happy Hour specials...ended up not getting anything from the bar as a result. Staff seemed very rushed to get out and get home for their own New Year's Eve celebrations. Food preparation more bland than in the past.
Granted it was NYE but our group of six was crammed onto a 4 top table in the corner. Understandable if the place was packed but the table right next to us remained open our entire stay. It was a little uncomfortable. The food was good as always
Overall it was a good experience
Excellent food, drinks and atmosphere. Perfect for a catch-up with old friends or a date night.
My sister bought me a gift certificate from open table to Trufire . We've only lived here a few months and hadn't heard of it yet. VERY CUTE and chic restaurant! Great service, excellent food and great value! We will be coming here again!
Good food, friendly staff and balanced value! Good place for couples and families looking for quality food and a reasonable price!
Food was excellent! We had 7 people and everyone got something different and loved it!
TruFire has excellent food. The service is always top notch. Our server, Manuel, was very wine savvy. It's not a quiet restaurant because it is very open. So, the music could be turned down just a little for my liking. But TruFire never disappoints.
Family brunch. Super delicious crab dip and ahi tuna salad. Their Bloody Mary bar is quaint and tasty. My son devoured their wood fired pizza. Wonderful meal!
Overall this is a great place to eat, however I would recommend sitting at the bar if you want to get your food in any sort of decent timeframe. Sitting at a table and ordering a board and a salad will take 45 min for your salad to come out. Same meal at the bar you’ll have it in 15-20 min max. The food is always great though as is the service. The kitchen just seems to be slow the tables and quick to the bar. This is my continual experience.
Love this place! Fresh, local ingredients. Amazing pizza crust. Incredible whiskey list. The bottle of Caymus is the best value that I’ve ever seen.
Truefire never disappoints! Food was delish, waitress knew we were on a time crunch and had our food and drinks out to the table quickly and had our checks in hand even before we had to ask!
The service was a bit disappointing. We had to get the hostess’s attention just for them to find our waiter. The salmon was undercooked even though it was sent back to the kitchen. Aside from the disappointing service the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely and the food was delicious.
We went to brunch with 4 adults and 4 children. They do not have a children’s menu, but accommodated our children. Food was great. Service was excellent!
