Eat here regularly. Wish their teas came with one refill at $6 each. Had new seasonal sandwich which had no taste whatsoever.
Absolutely delish - easy to eat celiac safe! Did not get sick after eating here! Great service and wonderful wine selection.
LOVE LOVE LOVE true food. So yummy and delicious. The salmon is to die for.
True food is the best! The servers are amazing and the food is beyond anything you would find elsewhere. When my husband and I get to go out, we always go here!
Some food very good, some meh at the price. New "glass noodle" bowl definitely not worth the money. Loud.
Waitress was inattentive. We had to ask for things several times.
I ate maybe 6 or seven times at True Food and I ordered the mushroom/ spinach Pizza second time.
It was not the sandbags the first time, too many onions, hardly any spinach. Even the dough was not good.
I was very disappointed.
We enjoyed the spring menu. We appreciate the healthy, seasonal offerings and cordial service,
Consistently good and healthy food. We particularly enjoy the salmon; their daily soups are also quite good. Recommend.
Had a date seed in my appetizer and a long piece of hair in my chicken wrap!
Excellent service, delicious food, craft cocktails. Menu includes nutritional info, lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free items. Reservations recommended!
Good food, fresh ingredients, well prepared. Very noisy.
Fresh and healthy food with options for vegans! We wish that there was a way to reduce the noise, but other than that, it is a fun and friendly place for a healthy and delicious meal.
Very creative dishes, with healthy options. Very good service. A bit too noisy but it't a large place and when it's full that's what you get.
Love the service and food, it was fresh and our service was awesome! Thanks to our server who was observant and knew my friend and I were busy catching up. Rather than constantly interrupt (pet peeve of mine) she actually approached us and said she noticed we were in conversation and didn’t want to interrupt. So she said I will be watching you and when your ready to order place your menus together in the middle of the table - that will be a sign I know you’re ready!!!! Why doesn’t every reataurant train their people to do that!
Wonderful lunch with a good friend. Thank you!
Never disappoints. We brought a friend who had never been - he had heard it was “healthy” food. Well it is, but delicious also. He said he plans to return. Service was excellent.
Very slow service. Contacted the restaurant about the experience, and received no response
Food is always excellent and the seasonal varieties are clever and interesting.
It's a nice menu with good, healthy choices. The salad entree (I forget what it was called) had way too much horseradish so it was hard to eat. Chocolate cake was wonderful. A huge jumbo-tron screen right outside flashed over our table throughout the meal which was really unpleasant.
Heathy menu but did not taste very good. Edamame dumplings in lukewarm broth. Cauliflower too spicy. Lasagne with sausage barely had any sausage. Mostly chunky tomato sauce
Good for a quick lunch with a friend while shopping. Healthy choices.
Service was great, as well as the food! We were seated at an area that was not yet open to accommodate our group. Wait staff was attentive and pleasant. We will return again!
Great food and service!
Location and vibe is great, but the food is inconsistent. Sometimes good, other times boring. The idea behind this restaurant is good, but needs to be more consistent in taste.
True Food Kitchen is not good for conversation. It was so loud at lunch with a colleague that she ended up losing her voice from trying to project over the noise level. Don't think I will be returning there. Food was just so-so.
Way too loud. I practically lost my voice trying to be heard in my conversation with my lunch partner
Always a good food and beverage experience; far too noisy a space though. Outside is a bit better. Likely needs additional sound absorbers above.
Great service: we were seated right away and the server payed close attention to wine glass removal (we ordered tasty cocktails), timing of apps & entree delivery, silverware replacement, etc. The cauliflower and guacamole appetizers were a big hit. The Ancient Grain bowl and Grilled Fish Tacos really delivered good flavor, but the Teriyaki Quinoa and Cashew Pad Thai (with shrimp) did not thrill the tastebuds as much for us. The restaurant was clean and very modern, but metal chairs were a disappointment.
Our server was confusing as we used a gift card. She brought all this paperwork and did not have the receipt of what we OWED. Just what was used on the card and the total of the bill. She should of just told us what we owed and brought the missing receipt.
We sat in the outside area and what a difference in the noise level! I could hear my dining partner. Sitting inside is TOO LOUD. There is no way to insulate the noise with cement floors and metal chairs. The restaurant has to work on noise. You cannot hear yourself when sitting inside. The food, though, was delicious and fresh. I got a kale salad with salmon. The salmon portion was generous and perfectly cooked. My dining partner had the turkey burger which was also delicious.
With a reservation we were offered tables near the bathroom entrance, next to the expression machine and finally in front of the door. Many tables were available but we were offered the most unappealing in the restaurant. It seemed that no consideration was given to our reservation. We finally settled on the third table, again not ideal at the entrance but better than the previous offerings. The hostess had no interest in asking where we might like to sit and there was great availability. As for food, it was very good. We requested to share a meal. We had to ask that the kitchen plate two dishes. No offer was made for this to be done by our server. However the person who delivered our meal said this is often done by the kitchen. The bottom line is the service is very average. There is no initiate by the staff to please the guest but instead waiting for the customer to make a request. Very good food but not certain the staff cares to interact or go that extra step to make it a seem less experience
The fig and onion tart was hardly what I would call a tart...more like onion and tiny bits of figs on crackers. The seasonal vegetable salad I had was tasty but the portion size was way too small for the price. Still the flavors were also good.
The service, although polite and attentive aggressively tried to up-sell everything at every step of the dining experience.
I like the ambiance--I like the healthy spin on the dishes--I think the portion size is too small and the prices are too high for what you get.
The food use to be fantastic. Just mediocre now. Guess it depends who’s cooking.
I’m glad we made a reservation! The food was great as always; I love the cauliflower appetizer and hope they never take it off the menu! I also loved the hot horchata latte, it tasted and smelled like a cupcake! I like the covered, heated patio as well! It’s quieter there too. :)
This is our go to spot for breakfast or lunch. It’s consistently good
We had a great waitress who was fully attentive but gave us our space as we were very chatty and took a while to order. I had the seasonal salad and it was delicious.
Love that the food is anti-inflammatory and that there are multiple gluten free options. Can always count on there being something I can eat there!
Enjoyed our dinner on the patio. The main dining room is too noisy for a normal conversation. The food and drinks are very good! Service is lovely.
The food was amazing and clean. We loved everything we ordered. The dessert are the best!
Rachel is a fabulous server! She helped us navigate the menu and her recommendations were delicious!!!
My friend and I enjoyed taking our college kids out to lunch. The price is definitely on the high end so we only go for special occasions.
