Food was good and service was good
Perfect food perfect service
Awesome service, always consistent, food tastes great, very clean food, clearly calls out allergens, waiters always present a smiling face and greet well, anything else left ;)
Amazing food, beautiful menu, awesome service. Can’t wait to go back!
Food always good!
Best Fish Tacos in Town!
We went here for a birthday dinner because our friend recommended this place. The food is decent, flavor is not at all as good as other reviews suggest. It is excessively overpriced (we spent $100 for 2 people). The salmon is okay, but not worth $26. The poke bowl was bland and not flavorful at all, and the brown rice was not cooked fully and was stale and crunchy. I had to ask for soy sauce to try to liven the flavor. They don't serve soda, so you must pay $5-7 for watered-down juice drinks. They do not offer free refills, yet fill the entire glass with ice, therefore you are really paying $5-7 for about half a glass of juice. They also do not notate on the menu, nor tell you when you order an additional drink that one refill each will cost you $20 in drinks for about $3-5 in fruit. Parking at the West Plano location is a nightmare on the weekends as well. We were totally disappointed we chose to spend our birthday dinner at a place where we could have cooked the exact same meal at home for under $30. Don't waste your money, it's not worth it.
Great fresh, seasonal menu items! Reasonable prices and not overcrowded or noisy. Definitely a "do-over"!
I love the healthful options, the delicious flavors and the service at this place. I’ve had date night here, I’ve had business dinners here and both were great experiences.
Our group of retired ‘but not dead yet’ friends had a fantastic Happy Hour. The drinks and food were spectacular and fit the budget of all 12 of us. We are retired teachers, nurses, veterans and a few techies so we love a bargain with great food! They had a great table for us and excellent service!! 5 stars from all of us♥️
Excellent healthy fresh food option. Loved every bit of it. The only point for improvement would be if the service could be quick. We waited more than 40 minutes after ordering to get the food on the table
Lots of health options. Great drinks and food.
Avocado Toast was delicious! I swapped out the Gouda for Manchego and added some cilantro-yum!!! Watermelon Mimosa was super refreshing as well!
Always enjoy the food and service is great
The service was very good. The food was fresh tasting. A little small on portions but great tasting
This is the second time we've been there during the summer and we get seated in not a great place. Order drinks and apps. The apps come out first before our drinks. And we wait and wait for drinks. And then I get served an appetizer dish that's dirty.
As a vegan, I love True Food Kitchen because it provides amazing vegan options. However, it is also a wonderful place to bring my omnivore friends and colleagues who are not quite ready for a fully plant-based meal but who are open to wonderfully prepared fresh and healthy foods. The ambiance is perfect for personal or business meals and the service is always impeccable. I visit the restaurant on average a couple of times a month and have never been disappointed.
This was our second visit and they had changed the menu since our first visit. I was disappointed in my meal but my husband ate mine and his. It was very loud.
True Food is exactly what we prepare and eat every day, but with much more salt and oils. Because we’d pay approximately 1/3 the price at home, eat more carefully, and one of us is WFPB, we are unlikely to return.
For people who eat at typical chain restaurants, True Food is an improvement.
Portion control at True Food is the most impressive thing. Kudos, seriously. Unfortunately, most people would leave hungry.
Mi hija una ferviente vegana, sufre cuando salimos a comer en familia, por apoyarla optamos por comer en True Food, la agradable sorpresa fue descubrir excelentes opciones para los no veganos
Great food! Great service!
Love the lavender tea
Fabulous food and atmosphere that transports you to an earthy and organic oasis. Staff is always friendly and welcoming and the chefs kindly cater to even the most intense dietary restrictions. It's my favorite spot!
Great lunch time restaurant for a business lunch. Server checked on us as necessary but didn’t rush us at all. Food is always so fresh and delicious. Love the atmosphere.
Shelbie was great server
Food is average. It can be healthy but still has to be good. Service terrible
A really great place to have some healthier dishes. The ambiance is great & the wait staff is always nice and polite. If you're a vegetarian, I would strongly suggest you check them out!
we have been here several times with the gal pals to celebrate birthdays and just to catch up. It's always great food, great service. It's bright, loud (but able to hear your conversation), and wide open and roomy. A great place to eat and catch up.
Great people and food
Great place! Wife and I really enjoy coming here and the food is always fresh!
Amazing staff and delicious food
Love the food !
True Food never disappoints. My favorites are the kale guacamole, the chicken lasagna and the tacos. But, you can’t go wrong with any dish!
From the food to the ambience, it’s all fresh and fabulous!❤️
We totally enjoy TrueFood, the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I’ve never had any issues with any thing before today It’s just a little annoying that the hostess who checked us in with the reservation booked with OpenTable, did not actually do so. While eating I received a voicemail from TrueFood asking if I was coming. So after we were done eating, I went up and asked the same hostess and she reassured me that she had checked me in and that the iPads were out of synch. I then get an email from OpenTable saying I missed my reservation. Hello? I was there. The hostess screwed up. Again, no issues with anything else other than this annoying situation. Probably should ask TrueFood to better train their hostesses.
No sure if I recommend true food to a friend, I visit the one in Dallas 75225 and that one in my opinion is better, the one in Plano is a good location, but service need some work.
Food was very good although the entree portions are a bit smaller than what would be considered a full or complete meal. Service was good, although a bit too intrusive, however, I suspect that this was due to the fact that the restaurant wasn't very crowded (it was the 4th of July), so our server had more than what might have been his normal amount of time to take care of their tables. Ambiance was OK, I would not consider this a romantic venue, so probably not the best for an anniversary or other special occasion. We like True Food Kitchen and have been here several times, mostly for lunch...this was our first evening meal taken here. Go and enjoy.
4th of July and the restaurant was quite empty which was nice as it was quieter than usual.
Service was great. Food excellent. They did not have any more of my favorite lime dessert which was a shame.
