It's bright and cheery in there, and the service was pleasant and quick. The menu is very interesting -- lots of unique dishes and drinks. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Excellent food & great wine list. This restaurant is great for people with special needs such as vegan and gluten free handicaps. Service was a bit rough as server did not bus table, even to the point of trying to drop dessert on a table full of dirty dishes.

Arrived at 10am on a Saturday. We were one of the first ones there. Smelled of cleaning solution when we entered. I guess that's good. The interior was spacious with lots of booths and tables. The decor and color theme made me think of healthy food. Lots of green hues. Food was good. I ordered tacos with Bison, eggs, and sweet potatoes. My friends ordered eggs and chicken sausage. All the food was good... Nothing spectacular... But adequate. Our service was great. Thanks, Horace.

We were treated with exceptional customer service at the OakBrook illinois Location yesterday. manager and server went above and beyond to make our Lunch a memorable one. TFK has been a favorite for about 5-7 yrs. keep building more franchises please !

This was our 5th time dining with you and my first Mother's Day booking with you. Whils there was nothing special done or offered for the moms (I would have paid up for it)-the service and food were both remarkable. You have a great, efficient, and genuine team there and it should be comended. Your food ia great. The portions are small, but we all could stand to eat healthier portions. The best salad that I ever had. Dates, jicama , cheese, almonds, apple, champagne vinagrette made a wonderful chopped salad topped by perfectly grilled shrimp.

Cauliflower appetizer was not hot and pretty tasteless. Waitress, Kasie, made us feel rushed. She barely waited at table so we could finish our order each time.

True Food is about good food for health conscious individuals. We have a family member who is a vegan as well as issues with gluten. It is the perfect place for her. The food was very tasty, but it is on the light side. The sandwiches is a good option for those with a bigger appetite. The menu has a unique list of non-alcoholic drinks. The menu also changes as the season changes. Would definitely return.

I eat at TFK fairly often and typically it goes very well. This particular day the service was terrible. I had to flag someone down to get service after waiting 20 min, then the service was slow for duration of meal. I’m addition the server was very inattentive. Again, this was not normal but if actions like these continue it can really ruin a restaurant.

My second time and my daughter's first. This was a birthday dinner and everything from the hand-crafted teas/mocktails were delicious! We enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer had had a kale salad and panini as entrees. The strawberry cake was wonderful!

I went to the location in chicago and LOVED it. Couldn’t wait to go back so I tried this one in Oak Brook. It was terrible! Awful. The restaurant smelled funny, the food was cold, the waitress never came back to check on us. Really bad. I will never go back, at least to this location.

I actually had to track our server down to ask for a box and the check. Found her in the open kitchen area on her phone and chatting with coworkers. Loved the food, but the service was well below standards. It was not a busy time. Music was too loud to have a normal conversation around the table. Once again, loved the food! Hope they get the service issues addressed.

Some items are expensive but for the quality that I received it was worth it. Not many restaurants have the ability to cater to special dietary concerns with such a variety available. I plan on revisiting very soon.

Loved the food. It was a combination of many different types of flavors. Waitress was very pleasant. My only complaint would be the noise level. Sometimes it was hard to hear what the waitress said or anyone at our table. Nice sunny open atmosphere, just a little noisy for my taste.

My name is Michael Newman, and my better half and I have been going to True Food Kitchen since we met three years ago. We frequent the restaurant often for brunch on weekends, lunch or dinner. We have NEVER been disappointed with the food or the friendly staff, most of whom have come to know us by name. Everyone is always happy to see us. The restaurant is clean, calming, and the background music gives an energetic and happy feel to the atmosphere. We love this place! It feels like sitting at home having a great and healthy meal with family! If we could afford it, we would have dinner here every day of the year! True Food Kitchen should offer cooking classes. It would be fun to learn how to cook healthy meals that are good for the body!

Always have had great experience with the food. Love the eclectic menu that is not only healthy but tastes amazing - a rare feat for the appetite. Only wish their Service was better. Seems like they are short on staff - Servers are too busy attending everyone and are not able to provide timely response when needed something in the middle of the meal. By the time they bring what we asked for, we are done with our meals.

We came to celebrate my wife's birthday. She is vegan and picked your restaurant. The restaurant was loud, which was fine and our server was attentive. The food however was disappointing. I had the turkey burger which lacked much flavor. My friend had the bison flat bread which he was disappointed with. Both our wives had the bean burger which they said was "fine" but nothing special. Overall we were disappointed with our meal. I will say our waitress brought a complimentary dessert for the birthday celebration which was nice.
