   The food was amazing and very flavorful! The sweet potato hash was delicious! The matcha horchata is a must try. The only thing that could have improved is the wait staff. Our waitress’s could a bit more friendly and cheerful doing our time there.

   I love this place. It’s so nice to have a menu full of healthy options. Very creative, delicious vegetarian cuisine is available here, which is tough to find. It’s a jewel.

    We had both vegans and non vegans in our party and we all agreed that the food was superb. As a vegan I was truly impressed with the depth of flavor in the food I ordered. The charred cauliflower with tahini sauce was to die for!

    Reservation for 5 at 11:30 AM on a Monday. Waited nearly an hour for food. When we questioned the server, she informed us that the kitchen was completing the to-go orders before tables. When we got our food some was cold and some were hot - but none of it was great. Mediocre service and below-average food this trip. That's the biggest issue with this TruFood, inconsistency.

    Food and ambience great. Service was very slow throughout meal then appetizers and entrees came almost at same time. Part of problem was that a large group was seated shortly after us, and our server was overwhelmed -- but other servers weren't very busy and should have helped. Drinks took forever while bartender spent a lot of time talking to friends at the bar rather than preparing them.

    We were loyal customers eating here at least once a week but are now abandoning it. The always short food and menu item availability, poor wait service, slow service, and lack of overall knowledge or interest from staff has really ruined the quality of this place. I would not recommend it in its current state. I’ve had a bad experience the last 4 times and I think that is enough to say we need to spend our money elsewhere.

    Discovered this gem while traveling in New Orleans for a conference. Our group had an amazing experience. The flavors were fresh, comforting and delicious! Highly recommend the cucumber martini and the buffalo sausage pizza. I wish I could take this place back home with me.

    The restaurant looked and felt amazing! It was open and airy and very green. The food was great and there were many options for the varied tastes of my family. Our only real complaint would be about the service. Our drink order was incorrect - duplicates of one drink and multiple missing/incorrect drinks. Also, it took rather long for our food to arrive. That said, because of the atmosphere and the food, I would be willing to give this place one more try.

    Ambience wasn’t special and service was lackluster. A lot of menu items were unavailable. Ok for a casual bite, but wouldn’t recommend for a special occasion in New Orleans. Nice to have some healthy, allergy-friendly options though as there were a lot of different dietary needs to accommodate in our party.

    Had an amazing Easter brunch here. Everything was lovely. If you’re a tourist looking for a break from all the (delicious) fried food, you won’t be disappointed. Had breakfast tacos with bison sausage and ate more than I should’ve. Staff was kind, personal, and warm. Highly recommend.

    Everything was excellent. A little long for the food to come but Michael the waiter told us it was because of the scratch kitchen. I’d go back in a second. The menu was creative and delicious.

    You shouldn’t offer a 9:00 reservation if you close your restaurant at 9:00. Our waiter was very well versed in the menu and good at his job but was forced to rush us through every part of the dining experience. We took most of our entrees home because there was no time to finish them.

    We were so happy to find this spot in NOLA after spending a week in the southern US. Healthy, delicious, and plant-forward food is just what we needed. My daughter said the edamame dumplings were the best thing she's ever eaten - and that is high praise from her. I loved my ancient grains bowl. The hummus was another standout. Our waiter was delightful.

    We Doordashed our first meal and ate in the restaurant for the second meal. Both were outstanding. Delicious options for those of us living with allergies and good options for everyone else too.     Food is always good. Service was fine. When I made a reservation there was a lot available online. When I arrived, we were given the last table by the front door behind the hostess stand. I’ll know to be more specific when I reserve next time to specify a location. I did specify a short table. I thought if I made a reservation I would’ve had a better table saved than the least desirable option left for me.

    My boyfriend, his father and I were visiting from New York City and looking for food that would be healthy, light, not fried and not covered in heavy sauces as is the typical cuisine in New Orleans. We were delighted to find this place. We liked it so much we came back a second time. First time we had the burger, a turkey burger and the harvest salad I believe. The salad was so good we had that again the second time. In fact two of us had it again and my boyfriends father ordered the Korean grilled steak which ended up being far too spicy for his taste. It was unfortunate but it didn’t list that in the description as he would not have ordered it. Otherwise, we were so happy to be able to find a filling and healthy meal in New Orleans.

    Our server did not know the menu, was annoyed when we asked for a 2nd round of drinks and to clear some plates/glasses off of our table of 12.

    We frequent True Food Kitchen and it is usually wonderful, but for a while they have been slacking. Food was okay but could have been better. Server was kind but slow, as it seemed they were short staffed and she had a lot of tables at once. Will give it a few more tries before calling it quits.

    Very pleasant environment and healthy dining choices. I thought it was a local New Orleans restaurant, but now I see it is located in several metropolitan areas... good! (although I looked for it in my home town: none!)
