Our waitress was super friendly. It took her a while to bring us water and our wine. We were almost done with our meal when our wine was finally brought to us. Overall the food was delicious. We will go back.

I had the ramin dish and it was not good. Absolutely no flavor - just swimming in a brown blah broth. Really no flavor. Menu said chili oil but it wasn't evident. Needed soy sauce, ginger, chili flakes, garlic...something. My friends liked their salads though.

Had a reservation and checked in (early). Went to the bar and had a lovely drink.
Hostess forgot about us and we had to check on why we hadn’t been called and remind her we were there (an hour later). She sat us immediately. All was good otherwise. Will come again!

I had made reservations as they requested. Not a problem getting seated early as we arrived before we thought we would.
Immediate server attention. Since it was my friend’s and my first time there, she was delightful in explaining the dishes we were not familiar with. I had the the salad with added shrimp, friend had the fish Tacos. We both had the special margaritas!
No dessert. We each ended with about at $35 lunch. A little pricey to be a regular lunch place but the food was in edible and not the same run of the mill lunch fare!

Easily one of the best breakfasts I have ever eaten! Ever! Super healthy and fresh - a great place to meet friends or relatives for a pleasant Sunday Brunch. Did I mention the food was good? It seemed a tad expensive but then again, we were in Greenhills area in Nashville so to be expected. This is not your grits-thick-Southern-greasy-brunch tho, so of thats what you're looking for, True Food Kitchen is not the place. But for the more health conscious - this place serves up some interesting dishes and does it very well. And if you're not necessarily health conscious but enjoy delicious, fresh, well-prepared meals, this place is True to its name. YUM!

Looking for a new place after shopping at Green Hills Mall and decided to try True Kitchen. The waiter was excellent and explained the drinks, dishes, and his favorites. The OG is a fabulous refreshing drink - try it! Onion and fig tart was excellent and the food is great. Filled me up without feeling like I ate too much.

It's great to have a dining option that is designed to cater to specific dietary guidelines, such as Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Grass Fed, Natural, etc. It seems like the food is overpriced, for what is served. For example, for nearly $20, a serving of fish tacos should be 3 tacos, not two. The portions of fish were skimpy on the two. There was not enough added value to the dish with the sauces and condiments to justify that price, for what likely amounted to 4 oz of fish.

Our brunch for 3 approached $90. That was excessive, considering only one person had one alcoholic beverage. We didn't imbibe on a gallon of Mimosas.

We would go back, but just not that often, because it didn't provide enough value. For $90 I can buy a lot of Grass Fed and Organic food at my local Whole Foods, and cook it myself.

Love tru food!!! They make healthy taste good. Don’t go at lunchtime if you can help it! The noise level is very high and it’s insanely busy which made it hard to hear our server and
Get her attention. Otherwise no complaints!

My friend and I met to catch up on life having not seen each other for months. We are both vegan so it was a great second time for me and first time experience for her. Like the thoughtful juices as drink options. The charred cauliflower starter is yummy. I’ve been happy with the choices. Parking is relatively easy for self park in The Vertis.

Wonderful decor to enjoy both delicious and healthy meals! I would eat here as often as possible and bring out of town guests whenever we're entertaining. At evening meals the noise can be a challenge but at lunch this was not an issue. I would love having all their recipes. The salmon and chicken quinoa were fantastic choices for entrees. The salads are filled with delicious fruits and nuts. And we loved the flourless chocolate cake. Great day to celebrate a birthday!

Took the family there for brunch. Pleasantly surprised with the open, bright and airy atmosphere. Enjoyed the t-shirts with positive messages that each of the staff wore. Love the fact that the menu is seasonal. Means having the freshest ingredients available. The food was delicious with a healthy twist. Just disappointed in the small number of breakfast items. However, what they had was excellent.

We like True Green a lot. The food is healthily prepared and the portions are a good size. Last night was our second visit there and it was busy. Our waiter was nice and very attentive at first but as they became busier she started forgetting to bring us things and she instead just brought our check after we had asked to see the dessert drink menu. We ordered several appetizers that were great! My husband purposely only ate half of his entree because he wanted to eat the rest of it the next day. The next day he went to warm it up and they had given us someone else’s leftovers to bring home! 😟.

True Food is always loud, but the noise level was tolerable on this visit. I had the Ancient Grains bowl and it was good. We ordered a chicken sausage and fennel pizza a couple of weeks ago and I got very sick afterward. We thought it was just a fluke, so my husband ordered another one on Friday night and he ended up getting sick too. Coincidence or ingredients?

I enjoy the vibrant atmosphere at True Food Kitchen. This is not where you want to go for a serious business lunch - just a little too loud and some close quarters with other patrons. Totally great for brunch with a friend, which is why I was there. Our food was fantastic! I had the banana pancakes, and she had the garden scramble. Very different, but both delicious. My only comment about service was that it took an unusually long time for our coffee and hot tea to arrive, and my tea was lukewarm at best. On a cold day, I would definitely like my tea to be piping hot.
