    We love the innovative menu and ambience. We noticed recently the music has changed. It’s too loud, too thumpy and inconsistent with the calm and healthy narrative of this restaurant. Fix the music please!

    We left the restaurant without eating. The hostess was extremely rude. Once seated, 15 minutes passed and no one came to our table to wait on us. There were two other tables that also were being ignored around us. A “manager” approached one of the other tables and said she’d send someone over. A waiter took a drink order from them and walked past us without acknowledging us. We waited 5 more minutes for him to come back and then left. We have been to this restaurant many times- never again.

    Upon arrival they did not have our reservation for 9 available. Hostess said something about being slammed. The hostesses were very pleasant though and together we created a seating arrangement for us. Our first server introduced herself but we never saw her again. A gentleman, finally…took over. He was also pleasant but when we asked for anything e.g. sugar, butter, menu etc it took a long time to receive it. By the time I got the butter the toast was cold. I was never offered a refill of hot water for my tea nor was anyone else offered a refill. The food was just ok, and I had to get up to find salt/pepper from a “storage “ table near us. As this was my first time there I was disappointed.

    The menu is so diverse with many great choices. I had the burrito bowl with tofu and it was awesome. Filling! Ended up bringing some home. My husband had the panini sandwich which he loved. Our friend had the lasagna and was very happy with it. We also shared the edamame guacamole which was creamy and flavorful, much better than guac how we usually get it. Our server, Omer, was new, but we would have never guessed. The manager checked on us towards the end of the meal and told us Omer had just started. He is a real pro. Kind, attentive, and personable. I always recommend True Food to out of town visitors wanting a "sure thing" when they are hungry and want to talk over a meal.

    The AC was out. In Florida. In July. The restaurant should have to notify people planning a dinner when they know it’s out. I’m pregnant and planned a dinner party and it was so uncomfortable. I wish there was a heads up.

    The Korean Noodle Bowl lost its heat. Was wonderfully spicy before. Now it’s bland. Service was prompt. There were two servers. One was pleasant and thanked us at the end. The other gal had her back turned to us while the other smiled and said goodbye. Maybe the tip wasn’t big enough? Overall ok but it’s lost some mojo since the sale I think.

    Like dining in a school canteen. Zero atmosphere, empty for a Friday night. Food was very bland and overpriced for what it was. Won't be going again

    True foods has always been one of our favorite spots. However, we recently took our mother in law out to brunch and were surprised by the service we received. We sat down in a corner booth for about 20 minutes before our server even came over with water. We were looking around for him and even made eye contact multiple times to try and signal him to our table to order, as we have been waiting almost 25 minutes at this point. We even thought about getting up and leaving to go to a different restaurant. He walked away a few times and clearly saw we were seated. We felt as if he was trying to deliberately not come to our table. My family was discussing how hungry we all were and how we wanted to order when he finally came over. He was rude and did not say hello or tell us his name. We said we were hungry and would like to order. He took our order and walked away sternly. He did not ask us how our food was when it arrived and did not ask us for anything to drink other than water. It felt like a chore every time we needed something. His body language was incredibly rude and off putting. Our food came out quick and was great! We paid and left. I usually never leave bad reviews, but was disappointed with the service we received today. I love true foods, as the food and ambiance is always great. Hopefully, we will not receive this server again and will be taking a break from true foods as we felt so unwelcome.

    We frequent True Foods because of their healthy choices. Our vegan friends and diabetic acquaintances are always pleased as well. We always walk away from the table satisfied. The service is friendly and I notice a great deal of team work amongst the staff. If dining inside during high traffic times, the noise volume can be a bit high. We love eating outside weather permitting.
