Absolutely fab!! The new menu is yummy!! My friend had never been to True Foods and she loved it too!
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Our service was so overly rushed. Felt like it was a race to get us out...still eating when my plate was taken away. Also had a reservation and had to wait. That was fine but the hostess just avoided us instead of offering any info about how long it would be..just very young people with not the best training. Overall though I loved the food and thought the value was exceptional, especially for Naples. Would definitely return and recommend the restaurant.
Great food, very attentive hosts
A wide variety of foods including vegan options. Quality food and very good service.
Very good food and great service.
We didn’t get a table. We arrived in time, but they had no table for us. After a wait of 10 Minutes they told me , there will be shortly at able. Then they will bring me to a table inside, but my reservation was for an outside table. When I told them they said there is no outside table available. At this point I left the restaurant and I will never get there. Badest service ever!
The food was great! Came out fast on a Friday night and the waiter was awesome
As our hearing deteriorates we find sitting in the patio preferable as the ambient noise level indoors makes conversation difficult. As usual, we had gracious and prompt service. Food was OK. It seems the level of business may have impacted the attention to detail in the kitchen. Food was not quite to the standard we have come to expect. Probably a one-off, as they are usually consistent.
Great menu with healthy options. Recommend that you make a reservation
Same old tired menu with some seasonal additions. Main greeter had an attitude which set the mood from the start. Was determined to put us at a table in a undesirable location even though restaurant was basically empty. Evening reservations that were not needed. An empty restaurant at 6:30 in naples in season not a good sign. Waitress was friendly and helpful.
Best place in Naples for a legit, honest, healthy meal. Management is unbelievable. Servers are always kind, attentative, and joyful. Place has a local feel and charm that you dont find at many other establishments, even those that claim to be more locally focused.
Never fails to please. Excellent wait staff, healthy food, realistic portions. Love it.
Great meal, innovative menu, and amazing outstanding service to accommodate a few picky eaters in our group.
Service poor foodexcellent
Always great food, great service. A little hard-edge in terms of ambient noise.
Great food, lovely service.
Sooooo loud! And I’m only 50:)
This place is great! While I'm not a Vegan or vegetarian I do love to eat my veggies and try to maintain a health-conscious diet. And, to be sure, True Food Kitchen does have protein on the menu. I had a chicken sandwich there with a side Kale salad and REALLY enjoyed it; I would definitely order it again.
This time out I had their Cobb salad and it was DELICIOUS!!! My friend had a chopped salad and was blown-away it was SO delicious. Salads are competitive items; I have had good ones all over Naples: Cheesecake Factory, La Colmar, and Panera. I and can honestly say that all these place (in my opinion) serve credible (read "delicious") salads. That said, True Food really served up an awesome offering and I would definitely recommend it as a place to dine(I'll be going back), they have an extensive menu of items. Also, (bonus) a bar that make GREAT drinks (alcohol) so if you are feeling rebellious you can indulge in a cocktail. Great wait staff that look like the are eating their own cooking, so to speak. Give it a try, have a great time. I think you will have a GOOD time.
If you are health conscious - you'll like it. The hamburger is great. Had the new chicken wrap and was too salty and too much dressing for me. Friend had the kale salad and sent back cause too salty so you might want to mention that when ordering. The bowl of cru de te is outstanding and beautifully presented. Dips are great. Chicken salad is very good too.
Always enjoy eating at True Food Kitchen. It has become our go to restaurant when looking for healthy quality food. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.
New menu is soo tasty. Everyone in my party loved lunch
You never have a bad meal here! The general manager gave us a discount because we are regulars there and it was such a pleasant treat!!!! The place is a well run and well operated restaurant :)
Our server was not the best. We ordered an appetizer to start with, later on we asked where it was, he had no recollection of the order. Food and appetizer ended coming at almost the same time.
I think the food is wonderful!
Horrible! We were in from Chicago and decided to give the place a try. Everything we ordered was either cold or inedible. The management was
courteous but besides voiding the check ( the right thing to do); made no real attempt to recover the soon to be lost business. Evidently, the
location had been open for two years but the kitchen could not even come close to keeping up with the orders.
I have had better service than I experienced this past visit. Server seemed to be in a hurry and was not very attentive. The food was delicious - everyone cleaned their plate. My problem is that it was just toooo loud to enjoy the experience. Probably would have ordered more drinks and dessert, but conversation was impossible and the server never asked if I wanted another drink. I would return, but have to be seated outside or in the back corner.
The restaurant is incredibly open and noisy creating the atmosphere of a very large high school cafeteria. The menu is printed in such a small font that a magnifying glass and flashlight should be offered. Water was served with no ice and no ice was offered. The first glasses of white wine were served at about room temperature. We told the server before ordering a second glass and said we wanted it only if it was chilled. The second glass was served at the same temperature as the first. The entrees were tasty.
After requesting a move to window seat ( from a darker corner near bathrooms) We were sat next to a larger very loud party even though there were many quieter available tables. Our waiter had a bad attitude and when we questioned our wait for food his response was oh well!
The food was average. Overall dissatisfied.
As always, great food, ambiance and service. Nick did an awesome job - thank you! Noise level is on the high side, especially if you have a larger table where conversation becomes a bit tricky then.
The vegan contingent in our group was in heaven, the food was inventive and fabulous, and our servers were delightful!
True food was interesting and fun. Reservation was honored right ontime and we were offered outside which was great . We would not have enjoyed it as much inside because of the noise level. Everything was so tasty and unusual that it was VERY satisfying Our waitperson was lovely and helpful...looking forward to going again!
Always love True Foods. Great seasonal menu and consistently good food and service.
Recommending that you stop in and STAY.
We were in Naples and were looking for some vegetarian friendly establishments and found the True Food Kitchen. WOW!! We had great service right from the beginning to the end, our waitress was very knowledgeable of any questions we had concerning the food choices we inquired about and was very accommodating. The food was awesome we had the vegetarian pizza and the butternut pie for dessert.... five star, so tasty! As a mater of fact we were in Naples for a business trip, the next day I recommended it to my clients who were looking for healthy alternatives for there food choices. We will be back again!
The food was good, the service was better, the place is very loud due, in part to bad acoustics with no noise absorption. The physical menu needs work: items all bunched together, same light green font, all on one page with no contrast or spacing.
Love it there. Service and Food are consistently great. Looking forward to next time.
We had to wait almost one hour for our food because they were so busy - it would have been nice for them to offer us something
because of the long wait.
Food is always good here,The service was very slow
Overall the food was good, but the burger that was supposed to be medium well came out raw in the middle. We didn’t see it again for 20 minutes, and by then the fries that came with it were cold and the bun still soggy from the undercooked burger. The server avoided our table after we sent back the meal. We didn’t eat the burger and didn’t have to pay for it. The chicken sausage pizza was very good, but we probably won’t eat at True Food again as there are many nice restaurants in Naples.
We have eaten at True Food many times. Our server was unusually poor. Two salads took more than 25 minutes. A pizza entrée we shared took 30 minutes. The manager apologized. This server needs serious assistance and training.
