Our waiter Natalia was rude, took order rushed. Didn’t even bring our 3 year old son water. Not the service quality that we have gotten from this place.
Waitress was most accommodating. I will continue to bring my friends & family here to celebrate their birthdays, since you continue to provide the complementary chocolate cake with a candle, just enough not to ruin our diets.
The food is amazing. We love the hummus and pita bread and the grain bowl. The new fall flatbread appetizer is The Best! The kids pizza is excellent. We had the ice cream and cookies. The ice cream is great but the cookies were really dry. Service was great. We will be back many times more to have grain bowl.
The noise level makes it hard to give 5 stars
Always great food and healthy!
Not a great venue for a business meeting. While the menu and service are good, the noise level is not conducive to this purpose.
Sat on patio. Food and service were excellent. Healthy food options.
Solid choice for business lunches
Seating outside. Started to rain. Server didn’t offer to help us find somewhere else to sit so we just took a table and had to move our food and everything ourselves. He was AWOL
Food good, service spotty and slow-despite lots of servers walking around.
Never knew who our waiter actually was.
Never refilled our water glasses- ours sat empty for 25 minutes.
Amazing food, wonderful service, great atmosphere. Always love this location.
Nice ambience, serve vert attentive, awesome drink
My husband and I really enjoyed True Food Kitchen. Both of us have changed our diet within the last 2 years and True Fod Kitchen was just what we were looking for when we came to town. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was great. The menu was just was amazing. I had the Lasagna Bolognese and it was amazing. I highly reccommend this restaurant.
We visited for a friends birthday celebration for the first time this past weekend. Our waitperson knew the menu well and made wonderful suggestions. Food from the kitchen was delivered to the table in a timely fashion. We were able to sit and talk after dinner without feeling hurried.
Remember to mention when making reservations if you want patio seating. Music was a tad loud and there were some chairs ,though currently on trend in design, were a bit narrow and uncomfortable.
I loved all the healthy options, the variety and how open it was. We will be regulars!
Enjoyable As always!!!
Really delicious fresh food and it arrived quickly. Menu is great-such a good variety of items, especially unique and creative ones like the Spaghetti Squash Casserole. Delicious!
Great food & service
The food is delicious but expensive. Spent over $60.00 for an app, salad and burger. About $20 too much in my opinion.
Was great food snd service.
Teffific waiter. Knowledgeable and friendly.
Nice and peaceful.
Service was prompt and friendly. Food is always tasty and nicely presented. Interior hard surfaces elevate noise levels higher than I prefer. Outside is a great option when weather permits.
I don’t recall the last time I had such poor service at a restaurant. Maybe the server was having a bad day but she was not friendly and never checked to see how our food was or any follow up at all.
TFK is always great! There are not many places in Dallas where a plant based eater can enjoy flavorful, healthy and beautifully presented food. This restaurant is in my regular rotation for all of these reasons. My meat eating friend also finds yummy things she enjoys here too.
I got the “ingredient salad” and bought an extra for my hubby for dinner. It was deliciously loaded with roasted fall veggies and canelini I beans. My friend got the avocado edamame with pita crisps and the butternut soap. We split the flourless chocolate cake with vegan Carmel sauce and vegan vanilla ice cream. Oh my goodness! It was all so good but that dessert…. Amazing! It Restautant can get really loud so it’s hard to have a conversation sometimes. The patio is the perfect answer to that.
We have eaten at True Foods many times thru the years, we were very disappointed on this visit. I ordered the Spaghetti Squash Casserole and always add a protein (chicken sausage) this time they layed strips of chicken on top of the casserole, and it made the entire dish way too dry. Prices have increased I understand since Covid but lunch for two, 2 black regular iced teas, an appetizer (Edamame dumplings) and 2 entrées (Spag Squash and Teriyaki Bowl with Chicken) total bill was $72.59. That is a nothing we have paid for in the past, and the quality was nothing we have experienced in the past. Very Dissappointed
We didn’t receive our drinks until just before our meal was served. Our entrees took at least 45 minutes to come out. My 8 year old daughter was so hungry and thirsty she was starting to melt down. When the food finally arrived, I asked for ketchup. 5 minutes later, when I was looking for the server, she appeared and said “is there something you need?” Yes. Ketchup. We still need ketchup. My meal (lasagna something or other) was so salty I couldn’t finish it. This is the 2nd thoroughly disappointing experience we have had with True Food. The first was at the Plano location. Now we have had a bad experience at the dallas location. Really unfortunate, because it has traditionally been one of my favorite places to dine. I’d still recommend it but with the hopes that they get their act together.
Love their variety of food selections and the quality! Noise level was pretty loud, but expected because of open concept floor plan. Service was slower than our previous experience; not sure if that's due to COVID or not. We brought another couple who eat primarily vegan and they were very satisfied. Love True Food Kitchen!
For a nice part of town, the menu is fine. The menu tries to be unique and the servings have a nice flair, though I'm not sure the dishes are worth the price. We sat on the patio, which was noisy but preferable to indoor dining on a nice day. Service was mediocre at best.
I ordered one of the pricier items on the menu (Sea bass), and it was a little over cooked.
Good was ok but service was slooooow
Excellent location. Professional & prompt service. Excellent meal and experience!
The waiter was rude. She was not attentive at all. She had a fake smile on her face. It was my friend’s birthday. We waited for our drinks and appetizer for almost 45minutes when the manager came and asked us are we ok. Regardless I am disappointed in the service we received.
True Food Kitchen has a great variety of healthy and Organic delicious entrees!
Fantastic. Husband had turkey burger; I had regular burger. Kale salads on the side were tasty. Loved our waitress Katherine - smooth service. Such a fun place for dinner.
Wasn’t what I expected.
My birthday started out great at the restaurant. The menu had health conscious choices and was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was more casual than expected but that didn’t take away from anything. The flourless chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert was amazing! Will definitely go again.
Thanks for the great feedback. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Uncooked quinoa that I couldn’t even eat. The server offered nothing as a solution so only had a piece of salmon and vegetables. Def overpriced for the quality.
