Dinner wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as exceptional as TFK used to be. The menu seems pared down from my original experiences about 8 years ago. While the mushroom and spinach pizza I ordered was tasty, it was only lukewarm. The bourbon peach cocktail was tasty, but for $13 it was tiny and somewhat weak. The avocado key lime pie was a big disappointment. Crust was like cardboard and the texture of the pie was weird. I really miss the fruit crisps that used to be served.
great people and vibe
Effective check in, meals were delicious. However, expected both meals to be warmer- waiter kept referring to my friend and I as “girls”- we are adult women and we were not very comfortable with that reference. Thanks!
I’m sad to write this, because I was really excited about the quality of food here and my first experience was positive. The last two times, though, the service was really slow (it took me several minutes to get seated, even with a reservation, and probably another 15 minutes just to get water). I ordered the garden scramble and the taste was somewhat bland. The kale aid was $9 and mostly ice. I had to ask for hot sauce which took another several minutes and my food was almost 1/2 gone by the time it got to the table. I was disappointed with the value, taste & service and likely won’t be returning.
Spent 3 1/2 hrs there eating and catching up with friends
So delicious and healthy
True Foods, the name says a lot. The food is well prepared, flavorful, healthy, and satisfying. This is one of my favorite restaurants! Enjoy!!
Food is how I remember it “Fabulous” nice to enjoy the world again
We had a great experience. My mom ordered the Turkey burger with a gluten free bun and the manager offered a $25 gift card. We truly appreciated their kindness and enjoyed our meal.
Great place for my college girl friends to meet for our usual lunches! Always tasty and great service!
I have eaten at True Food and always love it. Took my family for the first time. Our experience exceeded their expectations and later I heard my husband telling his guy friend and coworker they must go! Wonderful server last night. Best ever!
Great food great service. Will be back.
Had a great meal at True Food Kitchen! The food was delicious, the service was exceptional and the outdoor seating was perfect!
We come here all the time and usually have a great experience. This time the service was disappointing and the food was slow and cold. The drinks also seemed very watered down :(
Loud and chairs were not comfortable, but otherwise a nice experience.
The food was a let down after seeing the website and actually eating in the venue.
Was a little disappointed after reading all of the hype.
Key Lime Pie fell apart by the time I got home and tasted terrible.
The new avocado / watermelon ceviche was a summer delight & a must try! They don't serve soda, but try the watermelon lemonade!
Really great menu & service.
Great meal! Thanks
Great business lunch, easy to park and good food.
Sadly the food was not good. I’ve been to another location and I don’t know if we did not pick the right things but the appetizer as well as our entrees were not tasty at all.
We were talking to the table next to us and the waitress came and interrupted us over our conversation to tell us, "Your server is here to take your food order". Rude.
Just visited the Dallas World Aquarium and ready for a good late lunch and realized True Foods Kitchen was less than 10 miles away. So I opened up my Open Table App and reserved a table.
This was my first time here. It was easy to make a reservation and the time options were convenient. We were greeted and seated immediately in seats of our preference. The service was prompt for our food and drinks. Our food was great, especially the hummus. We stayed probably longer than we should have but we were not rushed out as there were other tables available but it was pleasant knowing that we were welcome to sit and chat after our meal as my friend had flown in from New York and this was a time for us to catch up. He loved it. We will be back and tell others.
True Foods has remained consistent since their opening in Preston Center. Finding healthy choices of freshly prepared food is so appreciated especially in the highly competitive restaurant business in Dallas.
I always love True Food! They have a great menu and are very willing and able to accommodate for special diets. Of course, when it is super packed inside, it can be noisy, but when I came for brunch and sat on the patio, it was chill and not too crowded. And we had amazing service, as usual!
The food here is always super fresh and I love how they regularly change up the menu.
Lunch with a True Food first timer… loved everything!
It was an usually cool night for late June in Dallas. The seasonal menu (spring) items were great as they transition to summer! I love this place!
We had a great gluten-free meal here! The cocktails, cauliflower appetizer, entrees, and flourless chocolate cake were all delicious.
First time there and me and the family scraped our plates!!!! The best food we’ve had in a long time - can’t wait to go back!!!
The temperature was uncomfortably warm inside the restaurant.
Great spot for a healthy yet delicious meal!
Waiter was not friendly. Receptionist were very nice.
Always a good experience at True Food Kitchen and their outdoor patio is great!
Went for brunch with a friend. I enjoy True Food Kitchen and like that there is always a reservation available. In my opinion, it is a bit overpriced for what it is but still a good option.
Excellent waitress and food was very good
Food was amazing! Good portion size :) staff was very helpful as well.
I love the vibe of this restaurant although it's a little loud to be able to have a conversation. :) The service was slow but we weren't in a rush. The prices are steep but the food is really tasty and fresh.
