It's a party in my mouth! A gluten-free, free range, organic, locally sourced, non-GMO party but despite all that it's good stuff!
My lunch (spaghetti squash casserole) was very good. My daughter said that her hamburger was not very good.
Delicious fresh food and a hip happening environment
Delicious & nutritious - excellent service - served food at the right times. Ambiance is tasteful, open and friendly - not stuffy
There was not many people there but still the food took a long time and when it arrived the quinoa was hard, some of it hadn’t been cooked. No one came to check on the food after it was delivered. disappointing.
Quality food, wonderful flavors, aware of food allergies.
Poke Bowl was awesome!! Very fresh fish and delicious ingredients. Can't recommend it enough.
I love the food. The waiters are helpful, professional, and prompt.
I would love for the restaurant to find a way to make it quieter.
The staff seems to be spread thin. We had to wait long periods in between seeing our waitress. When she did come, she appeared and acted rushed. I would encourage the restaurant to hire more staff members.
Normally love True Foods- but this time service was slow (but nice), food came out cold. Was an off night for sure!
Only been to another location of True Food Kitchen once & this was as good as I remembered. love the menu-interesting & healthy!
We shared wonderful edamame dumplings (light & credibly tasteful) & roasted cauliflower. I had a grain bowl which was absolutely amazing-get roasted vegetables and avocado and was absolutely fabulous! Can’t wait to go again and have this a second time!!!
One of the few places you can eat and not feel guilty about quality of the food you are eating. Service is always good, as well.
Great but pretty loud in the restaurant
Always great healthy food. One of my fav places!
One of our favorite places in Dallas!
Prompt reserved seating, friendly and attentive staff, slow kitchen Sunday brunch, generally upbeat and happy
We met old friends there for lunch, though the place was busy, the noise was such that we could heard and enjoy our conversations. Good food and good service.
It was a little loud but the food was amazing
The food is always imaginative and healthy. Great place to take Vegan friends or business folks for California. Very old and crowded but servers handle with aplomb.
Met a friend for happy hour and wasn't disappointed. Craft cocktails were delicious and the food was tremendous. Would highly recommend.
This was my third time there and I have been very pleased every time!
Had dinner and then lunch the next day. Our group of 5 all loved it and everyone was able to find food to match their eating program! Come to Raleigh soon True Food! We welcome you with open arms!!!
Great as usual. My wife had a ball
Love the vegan options! It's great to find a restaurant with all options available and the food is good.
The concept of Farm to table is great but the execution left a lot to be desired. We were 3 of us, my husband, myself and my 7 year old. Our food was mediocre at best... edible but definitely not tasty. We went at a busy time Friday 7:00 pm. Our server was friendly but did not seem knowledgeable. We ordered a variety of items and none left a mark. Our bill was over 100$, so at that price point I am expecting good food. We will not be returning.
We arrived in time for a Happy Hour drink... nice. I had the gf Cashew Pad Thai, and my husband had the chicken sausage pizza. He thought he Pizza was good but small (“made for a much smaller appetite.”) I liked my pad Thai, lots of veggies and veggie zoodles with the regular noodles. It just lacked “yummy” flavor. (Same dish at PF Chang’s sets the bar very high.) If you’re dining with others who have strict dietary requirements, there are many choices here. Service was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was LOUD... high ceilings and music (hearing challenged should not go during dinner hours). I’m glad I went, but I wouldn’t make an effort to go again.
It was great overall. They stuck us right by the door (when it was somewhat cold outside) with a lot of open tables further back that they sat guests without reservations in. Probably more of a preference, but I would maybe give guests with reservations more of a “prime” spot. Otherwise great everything!!
The food was fresh, delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. Service was friendly and fast. (My side order of pita bread was very dry and cold, so I won't do that again, but everything else was wonderful.) My first time there and I will be back!
Great place to take a guest -great food, service and atmosphere . A top choice!
The appetizers could make a meal! The food was great. The service was a little slow on the basics like refilling water, removing used plates from prior course and replacing utensils.
I love that I can eat out safely (I’ve several food allergies) and the waiters and waitresses all know the menu and ingredients so well. I’ve never felt like I’m a burden when I ask allergy questions. The ambience is great and the food is consistently delicious!
The food was spectacular! The service was wonderful! Definitely will come back!
Our server was extremely knowledgeable and made the ordering process easy. I have multiple food allergies so ordering and getting my food prepared correctly can be really difficult but everything flowed smoothly here and the food was delicious!
We had a reservation and were sat a good 30 minutes after that time which is ok. What wasn’t ok was the very rude attitude I received from an arrogant hostess. I shared my concern with a Manager who was apologetic. Food and table service is always top notch, but can’t in good faith give 5 stars when I believe the restaurant is poorly served by the front of the house staff. Super important position. Hope they can remedy the situation.
All the staff were wonderfully accommodating, the food was fabulous, and my date and I had a great time. Definitely make a reservation, as it was packed the entire time we were there. Our fellow diners’ dress ranged from athleisure-casual to nice sweaters and jeans (this was January), so it is suitably informal while still maintaining a very nice environment that didn’t get too laid-back.
My sister was in town on a rare occasion so we celebrated my birthday early. My parents had never been to True Food Kitchen and they loved it. This is one of my favorite places and since I’m vegan, I love that they have a lot of options for me. My sister also surprised me and got me a vegan piece of pie with dairy free ice cream for dessert. It was great!!! Very busy but it gave us time to chat and catch up. Our server was nice and attentive. Of course will be back again!
I have been to True Food a number of times, for lunch, dinner, and one of the special 5-course dinners they
had last summer. The food is always excellent, as is the service. They have a great wine selection and some very good wines by the glass. The only thing that I find puts me off going more often is the noise level. The music is often too loud. I don't know if there are a lot of hard surfaces in the restaurant that magnify the noise of people talking, but it I find it hard to have a conversation there. I leave feeling as if I have strained my voice.
Not very good experience. Made a reservation arrived on time and the lady says your table won’t be ready for 15 or 20 minutes. Someone is still eating at it. You can eat outside. Not happy.
We ended up sitting on the covered patio (under heaters) — it was great! (Though I’m still disappointed True Food changed my favorite dish, the Autumn Seasonal Ingredients salad. Don’t like the new version.)
