   The true taste of the huckleberry oysters was astonishing. Our waitress clearly explained the varieties, both from their farm and other oyster farms in the Chesapeake Bay. It was lovely to see the mutual support for the farming of oysters to filter the water, rebuild the aquatic biome, and create delicious food too. Other menu choices were cooked to perfection and delicious. The chunk crab cake sandwich, the oysters Rockefeller, and the apple galette were so well made and served at the right temperature. The setting is idyllic. Very nice interior design. It was just terrific.

   I love true cheseapeake for dinner but I was disappointed with the Easter brunch. Food was just okay, cold and nothing exciting for $60 pp. No dessert on the Easter buffet other that boxes cookies.

   We have been fans of this beautiful, airy and friendly gem of a restaurant for a long time. The ambience and service are top-notch, and the food is delicious. There is something for everyone on their fresh, local and inventive menu. Their wonderful chef, Zach Mills, was just named Maryland Chef of the Year. We’ve never been to one of their holiday brunches until today - it was a wowser! Amazing, long table of so many great dishes. I heard they have other holiday brunches, and we will be keeping an eye out and making this a family tradition. Thanks, True Chesapeake!

   Our party of 8 - 6 adults, 4 kids - has the BEST Easter brunch ever at True Chesapeake. The food was incredible - impeccable quality, delicious flavors, and literally something for every taste and age. Amazing value for a holiday meal - can’t wait for the next one!

   Absolutely BEST brunch spread in Baltimore. We went for Easter and it was busy, as expected. Even so we immediately were served drinks and the buffet was organized so that we didn’t have to wait and could immediately get kids and ourselves served. Kids loved the food - waffles, bacon, eggs, etc, and more sophisticated fare for adults (mushroom risotto was INCREDIBLE). Staff was very polite and service felt high-end. 10/10!

   Great for oyster lovers and plenty of other options if you're not. The menu is really flexible and the happy hour is terrific.

   Service was excellent. Food was very tasty and well done . Could have been a bit more for the price (e.g., more of the sides for the main dish). Had asked to serve the ice cream that came with the dessert on the side due to a food intolerance, but didn’t happen. Noise level was pretty high. But overall it was a nice evening.

   It’s always amazing and that’s why when I had out of town guests, I had to make sure we came for dinner! One had never had an oyster… it was a great moment with the bell. There are other oyster places but this one is in a league of their own. The oysters converted my west coast Seattle friend who has never been a fan of east coast oysters… tonight she said TC changed her mind.

   Food was delicious. Dirty martinis took forever to arrive and were not good. Too dirty and seemed heavy on vermouth even though I asked for no vermouth. Server was very friendly, as were the hosts. Timing of check ins and drink offers felt a bit delayed. I liked the space and location. Overall a good experience and I’d go back.

    This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. Service, atmosphere, and food were all very good. RC was our server and he was very polite, professional, and helpful. We had the blue crab and bone marrow dip, French onion oysters, scallops, snakehead (fish), and a peanut butter, chocolate, and marshmallow dessert. All the dishes were delicious and well prepared. I suggest sharing the dessert as it was rich and a good size. I also suggest making a reservation as by 6:30 on a Saturday all tables were filled. We will be back.
