True Chesapeake is a fine dining restaurant born of an oyster farm. Executive Chef Zack Mills creates a seasonal menu that showcases oysters from our far St. Jerome’s Creek, Southern Maryland — raw, roasted, and in signature dishes like Classic Rockefeller and Semolina Fried Oysters. But, the oysters are just the beginning. Our award winning menu celebrates the bounty of the Chesapeake region by using locally sourced seafood, meat, and produce to create exquisite dishes that evolve with the seasons. Chef Mills has been featured extensively for his use of invasive seafood species, a very delicious way to help the Chesapeake Bay. Don't forget to order the Blue Crab and Bone Marrow dip or handmade pasta. We have an expertly curated wine list, beer selection, and cocktails - both classic and creative. Ample bar, high-top, and terrace seating available for walk-ins on a first-come-first-serve basis.

This is one of our very favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, last night they fell short. Shame since we were celebrating two birthdays. The entrees weren’t executed well. Flavors were off and many things were overcooked. Our servers were excellent as usual. We will be back. Everyone has an off night.

Food, wine and service were terrific, as usual. Chef Zack had a new dish -- his take on vichyssoise -- was absolutely wonderful. We love how he takes traditional dishes and re-imagines them into something new and delicious.

Atmosphere was ok, wait staff wasn’t to be found after order was placed. Price of food was ridiculous for the amount on your plate. Won’t be rushing back for round two.

Excellent dinner throughout Most outstanding were the upside-down blueberry pie with Burboun ice cream at an 11 and the Baltimore Bomb with a Birthday candle for my wife give it a 10.5 I also had a flight of oysters the best as always.

I always enjoy eating here but I wish you would change the menu from time to time. It seems like I always order the same thing /fried oysters, raw oysters and cauliflower. Maybe some specials?

First time diners. Upon arrival greeted and promptly seated. Attractive setting—easy parking. Tasty mussels, salad and scallops with delicious risotto. Professional and attentive service. Look forward to our return. Not a big deal but don’t understand the 2% kitchen appreciation fee.
