Came on a Wednesday evening based on yelp recommendation. No one was able to help with gluten free options. Decided to skip eating based on lack of confidence on allergen information.
Friendly, helpful staff; efficient and responsive service; good choices on the menu, generous servings; casual atmosphere, quiet for the early diner, more energetic for the later crowd. This was a happy choice for us out-of-towners.
There was a water leak with bucket in the middle of the floor next to our table.
Setting up for breakfast while we were attempting to have a business meeting.
More than anything I was upset that I made this reservation and it did not say anywhere that I saw that made it clear to me that this was a hotel restaurant. If I missed it, it was not obvious enough. Won't be back.
I guess I overlooked when I booked this restaurant for a business dinner that it was in a Sheraton 4 Points.
Not the place I would normally take a group of business partners.
I will say the wait staff and food were good, however the roof was leaking and there were buckets of water everywhere to dodge when we were leaving.
This restaurant is in a hotel lobby. Not great on ambiance. The waitress was sweet but one of the four meals at our table didn’t even one our until everyone else was finished eating.
Food was great! Loved the options on the menu. We did not realize it was at a hotel lobby, not really our normal date night vibe but the food is definitely worth it!
Just lackluster and sort of blah all around. Not terrible, but very little to be excited about.
Service was terribly unattentive, food was mediocre at best. We had a group of 8 and were disappointed across the board.
We didn't want to eat at a restaurant we could easily find in Houston, so based on the description we felt this had a varied menu and the name alone gave us the impression it was something local - a tribute to John Wayne.
It is the restaurant for the Sheraton 4 Points hotel. We left one convention center hotel for another local hotel. Not what we were looking for as far as a local dining experience.
The food was good and reasonably priced.
i didn't realize the restaurant was in the lobby of a hotel. The food was good.
Open table reservation. Picture lies. Sunday is buffet; not mentioned. This is what you’d expect free with hotel stay. AND still be lacking in sustenance. We ask for bread to toast. $30 for two.
Became Sheraton less than 30days. Look at windows, Sunshine could not penetrate thru the haze and the glassware on each table was just as murky.
Sad Sunday morning breakfast.
Accommodating servers. We were only ones in dining room.
Poor decision to stay. Good coffee to go!
What an amazing family restaurant. I love this place. Came in yesterday.
I was in the mood for Chinese Food. Wow, so happy it did.
My eleven year old daughter loves chinese food and ordered the hot and sour soup:
SHANGHAINESE
It had Shiitake Mushroom , Scallions and Bamboo. Very good flavor, totally satisfied my chinese food junkie teen. lol
I had the poke nachos. Wow, generous portion of fish on perfectly fried chips. Excellent and fresh.
So after I had the Poke nachos (shared with my three year old), I then asked for the Poke Salad and my daughter had the Beef Noodle Soup.
Clearly, the poke is delicious because i could not get enough. We made a reservation in the late afternoon after heading to Disneyland in the morning. Maybe because I was hot, but boy I found the poke so refreshing.
The poke salad was fresh, flavorful and filling. Totally hit the spot.
My youngest wanted a soup like her older sister so I asked for the beef noodle soup for variety sake. Similar to the Shanghai nese soup, it was delicious. The beef in the beef noodle soup was delicious - a perfect portion to the noodles. My daughter loved the picked veggies.
So happy i came here, I am definitely going to return on my next trip to Disney.
food was very good--- ambiance not worth talking about
very cold atmosphere--- had a 6:30 reservation but it wasn't needed
