Trouble and Sons Pizzeria
Family-friendly and comfortable, we feature a menu of authentic home-style pizzas, soups and salads.
My party had a wonderful time. The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. The ambiance is beautiful! The staff let us linger and we had a fantastic experience. Loved it!
Always an enjoyable meal! I love the Mediterranean salad as it tastes so fresh and is filled with tasty peppers, beans, and fresh ingredients. The cauliflower crust is fantastic! And the service is top-notch. This is a great casual place in Whitefish Bay for families and small groups.
The food was good and the servers left for a while to help another server who was crying (which I thought was very sweet). Just about every server came and wished up a happy homecoming and told us how excited they are to have us again before prom. The only thing that upset me during the visit was the noise level was so high only due to a part at another table. Though that isn’t necessarily their fault, that did hinder the dining experience.
My daughter and I had a lovely time. It was the perfect place to take a 13 year old. Not too upscale, but still fun and trendy enough. Someone had recommended the bread and we were glad we listened and ordered it! Fabulous texture and since and buttery without feeling greasy. The spaghetti was good as was the pizza. I appreciated the friendly and welcoming waitstaff!
We had a party of 9. Our table was ready at our reserved time. It was quiet enough that we could actually hear each other. The service was prompt and efficient. The food was delicious . I would go back!
Eating my leftovers now and they’re just as good as the dinner! I love the cauliflower crust for the pizza as it is less filling. The Mediterranean salad is fantastic. The service is great; what a team. Great cocktails and beer, too.
Celebrating a birthday. Pizza was excellent! Wine was delicious. Cute restaurant!
We really enjoyed the thin crust House pizza. The wait before it was served not too long. The ambience for our group was fine on a Wednesday.
We've eaten at Trouble and Sons two times in the last three weeks. Everyone enjoyed their meals, especially the cauliflower crust pizza! The food is fresh, appetizing and delicious. We will definitely make
this our "go to" restaurant.
We were very disappointed by the experience. The waitress seemed very rushed and answered our questions in the way that made us stop asking more. She said there were no specials but there were two specials listed on the board. We ordered eggplant fries for our appetizer. It was fresh and not greasy but completely tasteless. I never use salt in restaurants and I had to at least salt it to get some flavor. Even the marinara dipping sauce was very bland. My friend ordered shrimp pasta dish that she enjoyed but commented that she expected more for the price. I had spaghetti carbonara which was again completely tasteless. Very little amount of panchetta that usually adds all the flavor to the carbonara and no black pepper at all. No salt either. I understand that everyone has their own recipe but salt and pepper is usually expected. We had chocolate cannoli for dessert. They were good but really hard to eat. The chocolate was too thick so impossible to bite into or break with a fork. I really like Moxie so I had very high expectations. Maybe we should have tried pizza instead. We saw a couple being brought out and they didn't look great so we went with pasta. Made the wrong choice:(
I thought the food was adequate at best. I ordered a small Ceasar salad and eggplant hors d'oeuvres. The salad dressing was good but frankly, small. (I did not order the dinner salad as I was not famished). No fresh parm. The croutons may have been made in house but tasted commercial and bland.
The fried eggplant was served undercooked and somewhat cold. It was mediocre in flavor. While I liked the super thin flour coating, it was far from crisp and somewhat flavorless. I sent it back for more cooking and the same batch came back warmer and a little more well done but still flavorless.
Excellent food and ambiance!
From the moment you walk in, they make you feel welcome. The food is perfectly cooked. The beer selection is very impressive and the service was outstanding. I even got a free dessert for my birthday!
We really enjoyed our first visit to Trouble and Sons this past Friday night. The restaurant was very busy, so our meals were a little slow coming out - not a problem.
Two of our group had the sausage, onion and mushroom pizza on the cauliflower crust. The cauliflower crust pizza was the best I've had in Milwaukee! Delicious! The other meals were equally appreciated: spaghetti with meatballs and spaghetti with shrimp.
Nothing was left except two pieces of pizza, which I enjoyed for lunch the next day.
Staff are very friendly and attentive. We will be back!
Garlic bread was fantastic!
Awesome pizza, service and value!
We had a great experience. We were a party of five, including two kids. Had a great table in a quiet part of the restaurant. Outstanding hand tossed pizza and a solid wine list.
My wife and our friend tried the cauliflower crust pizza and liked it. We enjoyed the "double trouble" pizza. The Wednesday special of a half off a bottle of wine contributed to a pleasant and moderately cost dinner.
We had a lovely evening dining outside. The specialty cocktails were delicious. We enjoyed a delicious pizza and the roasted vegetable salad. Suzie provided excellent service. Will definitely eat here again!
We all had pizzas and they were great! Service was excellent and I would definitely go there again.
Great family restaurant. Pizza and garlic were amazing
I was there for my mom birthday and everyone of the guest was satisfied with their food except for one guest but it had nothing to do with the food of the restruant it was something new for her that she didnt like so she ordered something else. Overall the service was great and even the birthday girl was greeted! I would suggest the restruant to friends and family and I think everyone in my family that came would come again.
We have been here twice. Once when it was just a pizzeria and this last time when they had added a few pasta dishes to the menu. I was hesitant to order the Chicken Alfredo as sometimes restaurants think more sauce is better. The sauce here was delicious and light. Just what I prefer!
We ordered the thin crust pizza. We loved it. Really let the toppings shine. I also ordered a red sangria. It was perfect, not too sweet as some tend to be. The restaurant wasn't very crowded for a Saturday night. We had to wait a while to place our order. Not the server's fault, though. She was running around, very busy. Not enough servers? Recommend updating website, eg. during remodeling, there was nothing on the website to indicate restaurant was closed temporarily for renovation. Almost wrote it off as out of business. Glad we didn't.
Great service, great food, great experience!
So nice to have such a wonderful restaurant that is in the neighborhood. The food was delicious, especially "The Sprout pizza with cauliflower crust. We had a lactose intolerant guest with us who appreciated the vegan cheese option. Though the place was busy, service was good. And we loved half price wineday Wednesday!
First time trying Trouble pizza...very nice thin crust...salads were a little on the small side for sharing. Great outdoor patio and big bar selection. While we have other favorite places, we would go back.
Not sure which is better: the mouth-watering food including the cauliflower pizza crust or the friendly service of the hosts and servers. And so affordable!
Great ambience for any occasion. I am a pizzza lover so rating the food Good is a huge compliment as it is very hard to be excellent with me. The service was also good with friendly staff which to me is almost more important than the food. We reserved through Open Table and when we arrived our table had a little chalk board sign saying welcome Vickie and guests. My grandson got a kick out of that.
We were visiting the area from out of town and found this restaurant on Open Table. The food was fabulous. The service was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. Great neighborhood restaurant. Highly recommend.
Pizza and garlic bread were very good! Fried eggplant and zucchini not were not fried well enough.
The pizza was just mediocre.
Cauliflower crust is amazing.
Great local restaurant
Fantastic with pasta additions.
Great service. Quick and delicious. Found it by chance and will definitely go back next trip to Milwaukee.
Overall, fine. Our Negronis were a bit slight and oddly served in a highball glass. My pizza was good but my wife’s shrimp fra diavolo needed more spice.
We had the thin crust Special. It was amazing! So glad it is in the neighborhood.
Cozy, great food. Family oriented. Nice outdoor area.
The staff was very friendly, service was quick, the food was great, we will go back there is a lot of choices on the menu.
Garlic bread appetizer was absolutely delicious and so was the eggplant parmesan entre. Will definitely be back.
Love the variety in the new menu. The chicken parm was especially tasty. The hand-tossed crust pizza we ordered was excellent - slightly spicy sausage, lots of fresh mushrooms and the right amount of thinly sliced onions. A fun and delicious Fathers Day dinner.
