Quaint corner restaurant with nice ambiance and great service. Food was good and the wine I ordered (by the glass) was really good. It always helps when you describe what you like and they allow you to sample before you get stuck with something you don’t enjoy.

Lovely addition to the neighborhood. The food was great, the service was polite and quick. The doors were wide open the the street with a delicious breeze on an early summer day. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Terrible service and terrible time. It was just the four of us planning to have brunch on a rainy Saturday. The place is very small and music is too loud- people talk even louder because of the music. We basically ordered off the menu that only had the eggs and small pancakes to be cooked, everything else was salad, fruits, bread and salmon. Tell me how the two girls sitting next to us ordered their food 30mins after us and had their food arrive way before ours-and they had a BURGER! After trying to be patient, our food comes-BURNT, the pancakes were black on one side and the eggs were overly cooked. And my food did not come out along with the rest, the waiter assured me it will take a min. It came out after my friends were finished with theirs. So I asked the waiter what's going on, and he said the kitchen's system went down-that's no excuse for us to wait for our food when just the eggs had to be cooked, and while everyone else who arrived much later than us got their food. So either you risk your time going here, or be like us having to wait over an hr for our food to come out burnt. Shame on them.

Troquet is a nice, friendly, relaxed environment. The food was delicious as well as deserts. The service was great and very accommodating. It gets loud; however, the music was good.

Went there for brunch. Food was not remarkable; pretty standard and not particularly creative. Service was great and the space is small and cozy

Went here for lunch and sat by the open doors on a lovely sunny day. The menu isn't very big (actually its quite limited) but what they do have is excellent. The caesar salad had a twist to the conventional caesar. Lovely place to hang and enjoy some vino. And the staff is very friendly.

Small restaurant with creative food selections. I had their hamburger which was very good and the fries which were excellent. My wife has the vegetarian salad which she enjoyed very much. They have a good selection of wines also. We selected the Aix Rose that they were featuring and enjoyed it. We went for brunch but do plan to return to try their dinner menu.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for anyone who is actually hungry when they go out to dinner: the prices are very high for a very small amount of food. My boyfriend ordered the seabass which was delicious, but it was about the size of my fist served along huge sauteed onions. I ordered the duck, but again it was two small strips of meat and 4 thin asparagus spears, both meals were about $30 each. The strange part was that it took them almost 40 min to bring out our meals but the restaurant was half empty. We left hungry and ended up going to eat at another restaurant afterward.

The food was very tasty, but it just wasn't enough to fill up two people. Save your money and go elsewhere, as they will likely feed you more.

My boyfriend and I stopped by Troquet to share a small bite and a glass of wine on a chilly night. It was very cozy with a nice buzz, but we didn't have any trouble getting a table at 7:30. Our wines were very nice, and the waitress recommended the stuffed mushroom enthusiastically. It was absolutely delicious. I'd definitely come back!

Second visit and still love it. I wanted to taste every item on the menu but had to make a difficult choice. The ravioles and the duck were certainly two excellent choice. The section of wines by the glass is also worth mentioning.

Very chic, up-and-coming place! We had to wait quite a while to order, get our food, etc., but we were happy to have time to chat with one another. The owner introduced himself and was SUPER kind. Also, THE DESSERTS WERE AMAZING! We tried all three and had such a hard time picking which was our favorite.

I came here with a large group (over 10) and the the service was excellent! The food was authentic and extremely delicious, not one person had a bad thing to say. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It's a smaller seating area so probably best for smaller groups. Our highlights were the beef tartare and the gnocchi!

This is a cute wine bar good for drinks with one other person. It's very small and despite having open windows, our entire party of 10 was left sweating in the corner. Service was friendly but slow at times.

The croquettes and meat & cheese plate was good. AVOID THE OYSTERS at all cost. They did not look fresh and weren't served on ice - just slapped on a plate.

We stayed at a local hotel and stopped in here for a casual dinner & were so glad we did. Small, but well curated menu, great service, nice decor & floor to ceiling doors that open -- a treat on a summer's night. Would definitely come again.

We went here because it was close by and new so we thought we would give it a try and it's a real find. The food is classic French neighbourhood restaurant; a modest-sized menu of straightforward dishes, excellently executed. We had three courses for three people and we couldn't find fault in a single dish. Our server was knowledgable and attentive and delivery was prompt but by no means rushed. For the location and quality the price was very reasonable. The wine list is short and to the point and very reasonably priced too. We will be back!

Terrible disappointment. Service was very slow, room extremely warm and loud, and bread and cheese were bad. Actually they had 2 kind of bread, and when we sent the non-fresh one back they finally gave us the other one!

Major issue however was on the main. We ordered seabass with shallots and vegetables. It was actually cooked with mussels (at least 5-6 in the plate), which was not indicated at all, and they didn't tell us beforehand. My husband is allergic, hopefully I tasted the plate before he did. They didn't apologize when this is a huge mistake, and just took it back. We are french and will never come back, although it was looking quite promising...

The food and cocktails at Troquet were fantastic, and the open-air atmosphere was quintessential New York. The only thing I can say negative about our experience was the service. The staff were great and worked very hard, but the place just needed more staff as the wait for food was quite long.
